If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I'm sitting here dumbfounded! Did that really just happen?! We've been looking for a new place to purchase chinese food,weekly, near our home. After a search on yelp, we came across this place. After seeing the reviews, we were pumped! I get on the phone ask to place an order for delivery...the lady says go ahead and I ask her if she would like my order or address first. I begin to give her my address. She asks me how to spell it. I live on East Main Street.............. No problem, maybe she can't hear me. I begin to spell out the word "East". She interrupts and gets a gentleman on the phone. Still no problem.. I repeat my address. He asks if it's in Mahopac, I say "no, it's in jefferson valley but according to the GPS it's 5 mins away." He says "where do you think this is, we don't drive far". Now I'm thinking he really doesnt understand me... I explain that it's 2.7 miles away from him. He says "we only drive in 5 mile radius". I said very politely "oh, it is..it's 2.7 miles away...actually we're on the same street..you don't have to make any turns". He says "we're not an airplane we don't drive straight!" .... WHAT?! WHAT! Whhhhhaaaaaaatttttttt. At this point I'm getting yelled at for living within the radius of driving distance that they deliver to. A couple seconds of silence go by as I try to understand what the heck happened during this conversation but it was ended with the gentleman on the phone yelling at me for calling. I'm still really confused. I'm hoping that this number on yelp is incorrect and it was just someone fed up of people calling for chinese food. BUT... But, if this was actually the business, how DARE you speak to people that way. I'm calling to place an order for food to support your business. You don't have to be happy, you can even be short with me, AND if I was wrong, by all means get frustrated with me...but to yell at me over the phone and tell me you're not an airplane?! Your business won't be affected by my choice not to order food from you, but if you continue to talk to people that way, eventually you'll have no more customers and I'll be looking forward to the next chinese restaurant that takes their place. Hopefully they'll understand how to calculate mileage. read more

Typical basic Chinese food. Generally good quality. Fried rice needs more vegies and more flavor. Fried wontons are a must get. Spicy dishes could be a LOT spicier..barely spicy. This is not atypical for the area. Staff friendly. I have just ordered chicken and beef dishes so cant comment on how seafood is Much better than other local places. This is my go to Chinese restaurant. Try their house mustard condiment for a little kick. read more

1star. Everything will have too much sugar no salt. The dumplings skin is too thick and chewy and the inside does not include ginger nor scallion nor any kind of taste. I am writing this review because of the customer service just received from Donna. We are regular customers, enjoy the food but when an order is incorrect, just offer a replacement not a whole conversation blaming us. An egg roll was missing and she refused to acknowledge this error telling us that we missed it in the bag or it fell out in the car. The right thing to have done was to say remind us next you come and we'll replace it. It's not about the money ($1.50), it's about the service! read more

This is hands down the best Chinese food in Mahopac now. It's in a weird shopping center so it's hard to notice but I'm so glad I did. Veg fried rice has a good amount of veg in it. Also the mooshu pork is excellent. Sometimes there is a wait but it's worth it.

My boyfriend and I were passing through Mahopac and wanted to grab some quick dinner. This was the first time we were here, the restaurant looked very clean, and you can see right into the kitchen. We ordered sesame chicken, fried rice, egg drop wonton soup and shrimp rolls. All were delicious! The sesame chicken consisted of small pieces of chicken, the wontons in the soup were delicious, and the shrimp roll and fried rice were great as well. The other reviews are correct. I judge a Chinese restaurant by the rice. It's not greasy oily all was very tasty and they don't put sprouts in their rice. Tasted fresh and nice. It's in that plaza near Frankies Waffles & Burgers. Try it!!!! read more
