My wife and I really enjoy this spot. We have been coming for years and usally enjoy sushi on the beautiful lakeside patio. BUT, last night we had their Hibachi for the first time.( they stopped it during covid and recently re implemented it) it was FANTASTIC! all the awesome traditional things you expect ie: broccoli toss, onion volcano and yes, Sake offerings out of a super soaker machine gun. The food was fresh, delicious, and portion size was huge. The Chef was fantastic! If you are looking for a great dinner and a show, this is the place to come. Enjoy!

Food was amazing! The views are beautiful, sitting right by the water just fabulous! Customer service was on point, food portions perfect! Drinks are great! Our waiter was fantastic never having to wait around to order or be served.. However, my girlfriends and I ordered drinks after dinner I wanted to sit and chat ...I felt rushed as if they needed the table. However, I would go back anytime.

Haven't visited since before Covid and decided to treat a friend who was visiting from Jersey to a nice lunch. The service was not so good had several different servers coming over to us over and over at different points which would be great except that we really didn't need anything after putting in our drink orders except to be given some time to chose what we wanted to eat. We ordered drinks and apps and then placed our order for lunch a short time after. We chatted and waited and our apps came out before we could even clear our plates good another server came over to ask if we needed anything so we asked for more water and she said are you done? We assumed she wanted to clear our appetizer plates so we smiled and said yes please, 2 mins later she came with the check. We were so confused because we hadn't gotten our entrees lol so we apologized for her misunderstanding us and explained that we meant we were done with the appetizers and hadn't even eaten our entrees yet and she rolled her eyes and walked away annoyed with the check. Our main server the person who took our orders came over and apologized and then went to get our food. Everything after that was great. Apps, drinks and food all on point. Took away a star otherwise for the situation with the multi-servers. That was a bit annoying and normally those things don't bother me as it could be the opposite like no one coming over at all.

Very average. The appetizers were good, the drinks were good, but the entrees we had were terrible. I shared chicken lo mein and the sesame chicken. The chicken was the worst I've ever had. The ambiance is beautiful so I'm sad this was not a better experience. I did really like their green tea ice cream!!

Delicious food with large portions, nice open space with a beautiful view, and great value. This will be our "go to" spot for Asian Cuisine. Next time we will sit at the hibachi station.

We eat here a lot. Usually take out but occasionally will go in for sit down either at the hibachi or the patio. Last night was a nice night we decided to go to the patio. The service is always very good. The food though was not so good last night. My wife and I both ordered hibachi. She had steak and myself the chicken, it came out relatively quick and it was lukewarm. Needless to say it was not a very enjoyable dinner and when the bill came, I noticed that the price has gone up substantially for hibachi dinners. My recommendation to the owner is that if you're serving a hibachi to a table that it should be hot just like it would be off the grill.

I ordered from this restaurant after visiting my aunt for a day. I ordered a salmon handroll, a California Roll, a Spicy Tuna Roll, a Salad, two pieces of Tamago Sushi, and Edamame. I really loved the food and it's one of my top two favorite places to order sushi. I would love to come here again and order food. Maybe one day I would even dine in the restaurant once it's safe.

We felt as if we were guests inside the owners kitchen. She, wish I knew her name, came out often to the tables to personally and personably ask how our visit was. This is a rarity among most establishments these days. This is what bought up the rankings to five stars tonight. Needless to say, we'll be back;) TIP: cash payments are without taxes ;) TIP: small private street leveled entrance TIP: delivery available I believe thru a 3rd party. My partner and I were seated promptly, and were attended well by our waitress. We went on a very cold evening and both decided to order the spicy malaysian miso ramen along with the peking duck buns to warm ourselves up. Our food came about 15 minutes after ordering, starting with the Peking duck buns which were flavorful and had nice tender meat, though rather small for the price. Our ramen came shortly after-- we loved the coconutty, umami slightly spicy broth which was reminiscent of laksa (I suspect that they Americanized this dish and named it ramen so the Putnam populace would want to try it). The noodles were nicely cooked and not too soft, and the chashu meat went nicely with the dish. Though we enjoyed our meal, for $18 a bowl and charging NYC prices, you are not getting NYC quality or portions. The egg was hard boiled and overdone, and not jammy like a ramen egg should be. The broth was very enjoyable (I personally love laksa and coconut based broths) but could have been better emulsified. I also feel as though the bowl of ramen could have been a little larger given the price point. Another small qualm I have is though our waitress was lovely, she didn't seem to be very familiar with the menu, or with different types of asian food. I know this is a fusion restaurant in Mahopac, but to hear someone say that making the Tonkatsu spicy would basically just be the same as ordering the spicy malaysian miso ramen felt like either the staff isn't familiar with the basic differences between their dishes, or that what is being served is not accurate to the dish it is named after (as Tonkatsu is NOT miso based, nor does it have coconut milk). I would love to see in the future the chef sticking to their cultural cooking without fusion, as Mahopac desperately needs more authentic asian cooking. I really genuinely did have a nice dinner here, and would love to see how this restaurant evolves and succeeds in this space.

Seated right away, seats were unexpectedly hard. Staff were friendly, and ordered drinks and appetizers within the first few minutes. We ordered the edamame, and gyoza. Gyoza were good, pork and good sauce to go with. Edamame... keep reading. For drinks we had some Tsing Tao, light Chinese beer and the Plum Wine. Plum wine was sweet and smooth, just enough to make you forget its alcohol. My edamame did not come out at all before the other appetizers, drinks and the mains already arrived, so I had to cancel it so that they would not charge me. For the mains we had the Aburi Salmon Roll, mix of spicy roll combo, some California rolls, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Sashimi Deluxe, Grilled Shrimp Salad, and the Thai Yellow Coconut Curry. Rolls were all made well, tasty, I would order from here for my lunch time rolls. The Shrimp Tempura had a nice crunchy so you know it was just recently made and was not sitting. the sear on the Aburi Salmon was just right with a touch of a light mayo spicy sauce. Thai Coconut curry was "not too great" by my friends standards but still enjoyable. Sashimi deluxe, items were fresh, slightly chilled and came in a giant bowl in a bed of ice. It was the right temperature and would not have wanted my sashimi any other way. Too much food to have dessert, but will try to cut done on entrees to try dessert next time. Would recommend and was my first time there, would have like some edamame with my beer but will definitely stop by again.

Though small inside, loved eating outdoors at the restaurant, also delivery carried well. Don't love that they ask for a tip on top of a moderately pricey counter service type place Soy Garlic Tenders The chicken was crunchy, crispy & juicy. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was good. For me, not quite on the level of bb.q Korean fried chicken. Still a good option for the area. Pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup Warmed my soul. It was perfect, the broth flavored and simple. The Ramen noodles added great texture. The dumplings were delicious and large bites. Pro tip, get a side of dumpling sauce to dip the dumplings in. The Chinese Broccoli in the dish had a delicious flavor all to itself. I'm not sure how they did it (because it was in the broth like everything else) but it was unique and special when eating the bok choi Pan Fried Pork Buns (Bao Buns) They were next level and a must get everytime. I'm not sure how else to describe them except delicious Original Chicken Sandwhich Good but not a must get for me. Good cook on the chicken and the bun seemed special but the flavors didn't really pack a punch. Juicy Soup Pork Dumplings Great for the area but wasn't blown away Rock Shrimp with Spicy Creamy Sauce Delicious flavors of sauce, breading and freshness of shrimp. Great cook on the breaded Shrimp
