As a Vietnamese person, I love chè. It's easily one of my favorite desserts. That being said, I'm so glad Bambu is around to satiate my cravings because sometimes I'm just too lazy to make it at home. I've been here multiple times and it's always yummy!

Bliss at bambu! A wonderful boba shop with a great menu. I deviate from my normal milk tea and got an amazing fruit Boba with lots of layers and lots of flavors and of course, lots of colors. Also I love that they showed how many calories in each drink which helped me a lot and they also created a low sugar version from my palate. Such a great spot and super friendly staff running the Boba counter. Boba Special Che, boba good!

Great special desserts place. Highly recommended! Wish I live closer here then this place would be my go to everyday.

Great spot to try some unique Viet dessert drinks! This is a chain but there's not many locations in the Boston area. The yogurt series are a classic choice and you can't go wrong with them. I would say be aware that the drink sizes are quite large.. and the regular size was already very filling. This is a great spot to stop by for a quick dessert after getting food in the area. They don't have a parking lot so it is only street parking but the area is close to the T!

So let me introduce you do my MAN-BOO We're so close that I let him meet my FAM-BU Barbie hates him but I don't give a DAMN-BU Cause he always buys me drinks at BAMBU First met him at a poetry SLAM-BU And the dude really knows how to CRAM-BU And I don't mean before an EXAM-BU So I always let my Man-Boo Wham-BAM-BU If he's Sean Penn then I am SAM-BU If he gets fat I'll still love his MAN-BOOBS I let his friends pull a train, or a TRAM-BU And then they take me out for drinks at BAMBU WHAT I stopped at several places in Dorchester during my tour of South Boston Asian drinks and desserts. It was mostly Vietnamese places that I stopped at. There was Sweet Sip and Bambu, and the lovely Reign. This Bambu is super cute and has great decor and loud music and a bunch of stuff they've added to the menu. They have all the typical smoothies, Berry is great, Honeydew is good, and excellent Vietnamese dessert drinks. It's a five-star location of Bambu and don't be surprised if you have to wait in line because it's pretty popular even though it's out of the way. There's another good Boba place next door in case you fancy not waiting and trying something a little bit less corporate.

The drinks are a hit or miss. The place is pretty small. Service was fine. We got the Bambu Refresher and the real Fruit n basil seed tea. Bambu Refresher was decent. I wasn't a fan of the texture and favor. The Fruit & basil seed tea on the other hand was phenomenal. It was very favorful. The strawberry and peach were perfect in it. Next time, I will just stick with the mangonada. It hasn't disappointed me yet

I will take every chance I get to come here. There's a huge selection of drinks and lots of Che options! It's out of the way but definitely worth the trip. My go-to is their Mangonadas and traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee is strong but sweeter than other places!

We ordered the avocado coffee and red bean combo. Definitely give it a try if you like coffee and avocado. On the other hand, red bean combo, I do enjoy it but it is better without the pandan jelly. Will come back again if I am around the area.

Bambu is definitely yuummier than the next door boba tea place, Sweet Sip. The boba has better and more authentic taste here. The variety is expansive. This location has indoor seatingg with nice ambiance music. Good for families, kids, couples, students, etc. They have free WiFi too. Our boba teas were about $5 a piece. Same price as next door but better quality. We ordered the T4 with original boba. To give some context, we went to the spot next door but it was unsatisfying so we came to Bambu. Bambu was a better and tastier boba experience. Would return here.

This is a Vietnamese dessert chain. I love the changing decor to match the season and the atmosphere. Very modern. They also usually have a nice music selection playing in the background. The store is very clean and the staff friendly. I recommend the Bamboo Special and the Bamboo Favorite. Both are light and refreshing. They are not overly sweet. See my pictures.

First time trying BAMBU and I loved how it smelled as soon as I walked in. You can definitely tell they bake their bread fresh, almost wished I grabbed some while I was there. I ordered the fruit addict and mango dazzle both of which were very good. Service was very friendly and responsive. Will come back again.

Small and quiet cafe that serves different drinks and desserts. If you choose a drink with multiple toppings like the Che, it's more like a dessert rather than a drink and very filling. Many of the che is filled with multiple toppings on the bottom like beans, pandan jelly, agar jelly, these red tapiocas that were really crunchy. I got the mango twist which comes with a big chunk of mango on top. The taste of the drink is very similar to their mangonada which is a mango slush with some spices and tamarind candy. This is on the sweet and sour side with a hint of spicy.

Jasmine tea with boba and egg pudding, no sugar, less ice.

The tall handsome guy at the register is always cool as hell! We also get jerky and nem with the pepper pretty frequently. Nice snack when you got class or work. I rather fly back to viet nam to have bánh mì then eat them in the US because I have been disappointed too many times. I gave their Bánh mì xíu mại a try today and omg. I feel as if I'm sitting behind my dad on his moped while he taking me home after school again. The Bánh mì xíu mại here HAS SAUCE! IT HAS XÍU MẠI SAUCE! (This is a big deal bc no other place has sauce. Xíu mại whole thing is its sauce) The sauce is RICH and so flavorful - thank you cô Loan for making my sandwich today. I had my bánh mì with their Vietnamese egg coffee and it felt as if my tongue got blessed. To even out the creaminess of the egg and the rich sweetness of the condensed milk, cô Loan put extra black coffee to into the mix to adds more deep. My coffee was rich, creamy, right amount of bitter! I have brought my family here, my clients here and many of my friends became regular. I love this place and I love walking to it just for a cup of coffee when I feel down.

Our first impression when we got inside was, nothing has changed. Same set up with a bigger check out counter. It was organized and clean. We were greeted and seated right away . Super friendly staff. The menu is much smaller than before. I actually like menus with minimal dishes. 15-20 options is good so you'll know what to decide. Me and the wife decided to try two new dishes instead of our usual which com suon and pho. We got their bo loc lac and bun ca. both dishes were really good. I really enjoyed the fried rice that came with the steak. It was actually that good I would come and just order that to go lol the steak with very tender and flavorful. I would 100% come back for it ($20) Bun Ca is something I don't usually order and it's been years since I had it. We saw it on the menu and had to try it. We're glad we did because that broth was really good. A good amount of dill. Gives you a side dish of fried fish . It's not inside your broth so it comes out crispy and hot. Definitely will get this again. For drinks, we were excited to see we could get avocado with durian. If you're ever in Houston, this is a huge thing. It definitely was good. Overall, im glad we decided to come here for lunch. The staff alone makes you want to come back. 100% please come and support them.

Inside the deep narrow space there were two tables along the right in the front area. Very utilitarian. Not gussied up at all. Fridges on the left held some drink options and other chilled items. I walked up to the Vietnamese sub station where a gloved lady was restocking some cold cuts and waited to order my lunch for $4.50. A sign posted informed me that if I had the appetite, I could have gotten one of Chau's sandwiches free if I were to order 10. The crisp roll seemed a tad larger than what I was used to. It wasn't toasted, but was spread with lots of the creamy white spread, before a generous portion of the beef I requested was added. The sub was also well filled with a sauce, scallions, pickled carrots and daikon, and cucumber. I had asked them to omit the spicy and cilantro, and to go heavy on the veggies. A second lady behind the counter took my $5 and gave me my change. My order was handed to me in a bag complete with a couple of napkins. Turns out the beef was cool as well, so that's something that New Saigon in Chinatown offers that tops Chau - that and the toasted bread.
