Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3 J's & Strawberry Milk Tea
    Lizzie Y.

My go-to boba spot to go in Quincy! The drinks are always consistent and are made quick. My favorite drinks to get include: Earl Grey Milk tea with 3 J's (boba, herbal jelly, & custard), dirty brown sugar milk tea with boba & custard, & mango yakult. Only thing I wish was that they were on the GongCha app to order & pick up. But otherwise, great GongCha location.

I drink boba a lot, but this place isn't even that good. Multiple times when I've come here, they've run out of boba. Like be so fr you're a boba shop... Today, they didn't even call out my order when it was ready and I tipped them and there were only one other customer... I had to ask if the drinks were mine. The only reason I come here is for the discount, but I'd rather go to Vivi's or Shi Miao Dao. At least it's clean here, though.

I only came to this Gong Cha grand opening for their BOGO deal: buy one get one free (off the top 10 menu only). I, myself, had the dirty brown sugar milk tea with regular ice and 70% sugar. To my taste, the 30% reduced sugar (70% sugar) was still too sweet. I think 50% would've been better. The boba was the right about of soft and chewy; however, they're like super mini. Literally, one sip and there's like 50 bobas in your mouth. The tea wasn't very potent in the drink, it's way too sweet and milky. It's like the leftover milk after drinking cereal. I'm a bit disappointed with this Gong Cha. I'll wait until they're less busy to try again. Hopefully, the quality will be much, much better!

The service was impeccable. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls that were soggy. With a yelp review I was anle to exchange it for a passionfruit green tea drink that was delicious

Love their earl grey milk tea with pudding and herbal jelly! The dirty brown sugar series is too sweet in my opinion.

I ordered an earl grey tea with milk foam, and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I had to throw the entire drink away. When I asked the cashier to remake the drink, he persistently refused to do so. You're better off going to Ptea in North Quincy, where the prices are lower than at Goncha, AND they will remake your drink to your liking.

I went here for their grand opening. It was crazy busy because of the promotion of buy 1 Get 1. The wait was about an hour . It was so insane. People were way to close to each inside and outside. Some people did a good job at social Distancing but other did not. I got to try a few of their top 10 drinks. The strawberry milk tea taste like powder strawberry milk. The dirty brown sugar milk foam was okay. Just wasn't the best version of it. The cheese foam could of been a bit bolder in. Favor. The passion fruit was a bit to sweet . Everything was a hit or miss. Promotion was amazing. It allowed us to try more drinks, but this place won't be my first choice for boba tea. There way to many options in the area

The first stop in my Boston weekend was Gong Cha. I have heard people rave about this, so I knew I had to try it! I ordered the Milk Foam Brown Sugar Milk Tea at 50% sweet. I was honestly so nervous about the sweetness level, BUT it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was able to enjoy the milk tea. This is one of the better brown sugar milk teas I've tried. The service was really quick. It was quiet, not a lot of people. I definitely recommend this place for boba!

My younger cousin works at a Gong Cha, and she made me an addict. This is the one closest to me and i come here pretty often. Interesting enough, there is never a line. I'm always greeted as soon as i come in, and the couple times I've had questions the employees were helpful in explaining what's in the drink. The space is small. I have never been dissatisfied by their drinks.

I had to ask to remake it since the first one was soggy with no shape, and the second time was somehow burnt. Staff were not caring at all about the quality of the food. This was friday night!

While I like their 3j drink, they use milk POWDER in their milk tea instead of real milk.

They were out of eggs, so I got a pork bun which was fluffy and delicious as well. They had a medium sized-menu with a good selection of your run of the mill American cafe staples as well as options that are harder to find in this area -- Saipao buns, ube lattes, lumpia... I was getting pissed off on the highway on my way to the school in Boston so I pulled off and was looking for a cafe somewhere in Milton or Quincy to work in until the traffic died off a little and found this on Apple Maps. So glad I stopped in! The cafe is bright and home-y, and they also are clearly trying to be a place to build community in the area. They have a whole library and check out system it seems for people to borrow books, and based on the signs welcome in anyone that needs to use the restroom or respite from whatever weather is going on! I used one of their tables and worked on some schoolwork, but they also had a variety of soft seating available. They had a really good playlist that had a great beat but was still kinda chill. It wasn't super busy, probably since it was midday on a Thursday, but damn it should be busier in there! Great spot... will most likely be stopping here the next time I find myself screaming at other cars and needing to calm my road rage. Another note: I saw a sign and it looks like they have a way for people to hold events here. If you had a community group that needed a spot to have meet ups I think this would be a great spot

Though not a Thai restaurant, their Tom Yum noodle soup is just the best. They let you choose the type of noodle you want which is really nice if you want to customize and have a preference for noodles. Other favorites I recommend from the menu are the fried oysters and the green tea smoothie. Wish I could recommend more since it's such a big menu but I keep sticking to the same things so I can't personally speak to them. I started with chicken wings assuming they'd be actual chicken wings in line with say, Chinese restaurants. Instead, I got the cheap breaded, seemingly frozen, garbage sold at a dime a dozen pizza/sub places. They are low quality nonsense...and $11. Hilarious. I also got the rib eye beef and enoki ramen noodles. Listen, there is roughly 5lbs of it. 3 adults can share it. But Quincy has endless options for authentic Asian food and that's what we want--quality over quantity, Asian food with fresh, quality ingredients. See the pictures. It is a mound of overcooked mush with extremely/borderline inedible fatty meat and equally mushy enoki mushrooms hidden here and there. When I know for a fact that I could cook a stir fry ramen that is ten times better than what I just paid $20 for, there is zero reason to return to your restaurant, and I won't.

I come here whenever I'm in the area and am usually met with super friendly service and the coffee is always amazing but omg there was something in the air the day I went. It was super busy and they were clearly backed up and short staffed. Being in coffee service myself, I totally understand being pissed off and hate-working when busy, but I would never reflect that attitude onto my customers and always make a point to be nice no matter how much i'm dying inside. After waiting a few minutes for my order to be taken (again, i don't mind this i totally get it) i was stared at by the old lady when she was ready to take my order (No "hi how are you" or "sorry for the wait"). Just stared at. I ordered my drink and all she served me was attitude. monotone "yup" "okay" "cash or card". No thank you for the tip. Then i'm waiting for my drink and they were just behind the counter complaining the whole time for everyone to hear. I got my drinks and as the white girl hands it to me she goes "Have a WONDERFUL day!" in the most phoney cheery voice. I was like okay girl you too!! Like your whole staff just gave me a sour attitude and then you hit me with some fake niceness. I'm a 20 year old girl too passive to not smile and thank them for their horrible service. Coffee was gas as always but i just left appalled at how miserable the staff was.
