This place has horrible customer service. No one ever greets you with a smile. It seems like I'm bothering them just by walking in and giving them business by the way they act. Walked in today and the cashier didn't even acknowledge us. She was on her phone the entire time, EVEN when she was ringing me up. The hell man, go learn how to treat customers. This is our first visit at Bambu and damn was it good. I ordered the regular mango dazzle smoothie with no pearls. And my husband ordered the coconut smoothie with strawberry jelly. The price wasn't bad either 8 bucks and some change, we had a place kind of like this in the Bay Area and it was pricey close enough to jamba juice. I liked the decor, and the service was quick. Bambu is on my route to work, and if I didn't have to clock in, I'd be stopping by every morning for my #9 dessert fix. The fact that they use coconut milk in most of their dessert drinks (think boba or bubble tea but with grass jelly, pandan jelly and a host of other sweet Asian ingredients instead of boba) is a boon to my lactose-intolerant tummy. Seriously, though, it's plain addicting. The chewiness and aromatic flavor of the pandan jelly, slightly contrasting with the softer grass jelly has me hooked. Scaled it down when I started putting on extra pounds. Customer service is always good, pleasant and fast. The place has a large flat-screen TV on the wall and these cute green, and white hanging lamps. Now if only they had a drive-through window... read more

As I prepare to write this review, I saw someone mention that the milk tea tastes like medicine. I don't take medicine but if it tastes like their Thai or Almond Milk Tea, I will definitely start. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've never had che as a drink before but I have been craving it ever since I first had it. My boyfriend isn't a big sweets fan, but he also agreed that this place was great! It was definitely a shocker. The beans - white, red, purple - are all cooked perfectly. And so is the pandan jelly. All I can say is that this is a must try 5 star dessert place. It can sometimes be a tad bit sweet, but majorit of the time it is just right. I am coming back, Bambu! read more

Love their Che #10, papaya & coconut smoothie! I'm also a big fan of their pandan jelly & pink crunchy tapioca:) I come here so often, the lady in the front already knows how I want my Che. I used to go to the San Jose location so I'm glad there's now one that's close to home. The only downside is they charge $.50 extra for the pandan jelly to be added to the smoothie, whereas in SJ location, it's free. read more

I've been to bambu near sacramento and i've always liked getting my boba from there because of their great drinks and service. I was in stockton and was happy they had one so trusted i would be satisfied as usual.. I approached the cashier and the girl their didn't greet nor seemed happy to attend me. I was excited to order a boba but she was blank the whole time and not welcoming. After when i received my order in a tray holder and bag, i realized that i never asked for it to go, felt uncomfortable since she already was giving negative vibes. I told her thank you with a big smile but she didn't respond. The bad service ruined my experience, won't come back. I'll find another to get my drinks. read more

Good smoothies. They have interesting flavors that I have never tried before. Some of there iced drinks are a bit too sweet. However, if you request less sweetener they will accommodate you. They only draw back I have with this establishment is that you can't see the kitchen. They prepare all the drinks behind a wall and closed off area. Other than that, it's worth trying. I wish I could rate this 0 stars! They don't deserve to be in business. I was handing a doordash order to my client which consisted of 6 drinks in one bag including 2 small bags of ice on top and it fell so I told my client I'll have the drinks replaced and head back in roughly 15 minutes or so. I called BAMBU and asked the cashier if I can have 4 drinks replaced since the other 2 drinks didn't fall and was handed to my client. Meanwhile on the phone, the lady told me I had to speak Vietnamese which I found to be a racial remark. I got to the restaurant and asked if I can have the drinks replaced and she told me no that I had to pay for the whole order out of my pocket so you know what the heck I'm not paying for a mistake made by your employees! She proceeded to tell me her boss wouldn't be able to make the drinks again even though I had shown them proof that the drinks fell including a towel I had to put under the bag. Atlast, I waited 45 minutes and never received my customers drinks. I had to contact doordash support to refund my customer. What kind of restaurant is this!!! I Will never refer customers, come here or accept any doordash orders. Train your employees better BAMBU! read more

Upon entering they had pictures of very good looking drinks but its a dessert called Chè. It taste better if you eat it with a spoon. I also got the pennywort drink it tastes like wheat grass but the drink wasn't for me definitely an acquired taste. read more

WOW, what a great place. I had been wanting to try bambu for what seems like forever. I took my boyfriend with me and we both had chosen two items, the taro lover and a passionfruit juice. This place is great! As soon as you walk in you will notice the mood/setting of the place is really minimalist style and they have a very good but concise menu (many choices, but not too many that you can't think of what to order). I usually order their desserts (though I have tried the smoothies as well). I get #6 with less ice (because the huge chunk of ice in the drink is too much). They use a lot of ingredient in the drinks that I am not familiar with but they are really nice and will explain where/what they are if you ask. So if you are like me feel free to ask them! Please do not waste your money and time on this location. Came to this location today and ordered 2 drinks. One taro milk tea with boba and a traditional Vietnamese coffee. The issue with the drinks when it came out was that the taro milk tea whoever was making it they could not even fill the whole cup with taro milk tea. Therefore I received a drink that was half full. How can you give that to a customer? And when I told the cashier to at least add more boba to it he told the woman in the back and I could hear her complaining. You give a drink that is half full the least you can do is fill the cup with boba? Plus there was only 5 pieces of boba inside the drink. The traditional coffee was fine only issue was there was only about 5 pieces of boba toppings on it too. This place is by far the very worst place I have ever encountered, how can they serve drinks like this that is not all the way full. Wish I can give them 0 stars instead also a long wait just for these drinks and the drinks are not even complicated. Honestly they should just shut this place down I analyzed other people's drinks and they cannot even fill others cups all the way up as well. Others were also complaining regarding time making it and cashier was not wearing gloves when handing out drinks. Terrible. read more
