I've been shopping at Banana Republic for years now and even have the membership card and I'm an Icon member. However, the manager here is rude and makes it difficult to want to come back, it doesn't seem like they care to have your business even if you spend thousands of dollars there. Inside the massive Stonebriar Centre in Frisco is this Banana Republic - which is a trendy inexpensive clothing store for young people that has been around for a long time. I got some ripped jeans from this location last time we were in Dallas. We didn't buy anything this time because we were just browsing through the whole mall - but they do have some cool things and even though they're expensive there are some pretty good sales now and again. read more

Do not under any circumstances sign up for Banana Republic credit card! I've had mine for 15 years. They switch to Barclays as a third-party to process their payments. I got my new card. They've messed up my profile. Now, the only way to verify my identity they want me to send a copy of my drivers license and my Social Security card to them in the mail!!!!! Really! They want me to put my entire identity in an envelope and send it out into the world to land Godknows where. Simply means someone could've stolen my wallet who now has my drivers license and my Social Security card. I would not sign up for this credit card under any circumstances! I have called and called. I just continue to get the same response copy my drivers license and my Social Security card. Of course I have to keep making my payments, and I can't cancel it without it digging my credit!!! Just don't do it! I and now I have to at least pick one star just to post the review read more

This location wasn't running like the well oiled machine that i've come to expect at Banana Republic. There was a long wait to pay, punctuated with technical issues in my attempts to pay and finally a lack luster 'customer service' experience. I don't know is this is because it was the end of the year and they were looking at leaving early or what. But it was a really odd experience with the woman who attempted to help me with my purchase walking away twice while she attempted to ring up my purchase. Hmmm, a puzzlingly experience. read more

Staffing situation was absolutely poor. I had no idea who worked there. They blended in with customers. There aren't traditional cash registers or a sign stating where to check out not is the staff hovering in that zone making themselves available. Basically have to ask any human in the store if they work they work there. Even then, they peace out as soon as they can do heaven forbid you have a follow up question on a size. I ordered 2 pairs of pants online that turned out to be too large (nice surprise). I begrudgingly brought the pants to the store expecting the process to be a giant hassle. One of the employees (I think he was a manager) named Jordan was extremely helpful. He immediately went to town tearing the store apart to find my exact size and another size in case that didn't work out. He went through all the stacks of pants and went to the back to find exactly what I was looking for. His friendliness and drive to get me what I needed went well above what I feel he needed to do. Experiences like this make me a return customer. Well done. read more

Attitude!!! Ever since they remodeled the store!!! All the sales people do is hang out at the big desk in the middle of the store. And the bald guy with attitude! You should make sure you take down all the sale signs.. I appreciate you allowing the discount..BUT you could have handled it a lot better! If I was rating BR in general I would give it 5 stars..my go to store for all things, work, parties, weekend wear, etc... BUT this store doesn't carry the Heritage Collection and has mediocre sales associates. If you work in customer service, you should be generally happy. And the Heritage collection is what keeps me coming back for more. Therefore the 3 star score. Eh, this store is fine and it's closest to me so I'll keep going back but Willlow Bend and Highland Park are the better choices! read more

I would give this store zero stars if possible. The sales associates are so rude. Not one out of the five I saw said hello or were kind enough to ask me If i needed any help finding anything. My wife and I love shopping at Banana Republic. This location is well stocked and the staff is decent. One thing I might recommend is checking out the Outlet at Grapevine Mills. Similar quality, but much less expensive. read more

I went shopping here this morning and was not happy when the store didn't open on time (especially as I could see the employee with short red/brown hair trying on jackets in the clearance section!). However, an employee named Marsha greeted me while I was shopping and helped me find several items in my size. I love the Stonebriar store! My daughter and I have shopped here for 4 years. Everyone is super nice and friendly. This is the only store that always has the clothes put away so I always find my size really easy and it has a great petite section for my daughter. I also love how the outfits they advertise are in front of the actual clothing pieces so I am able to find the easily. They have a new blond girl who has a great sense of fashion and she is so easy to work with. She really challenges my daughter comfort zone and takes her look to the next level. Erica is super nice and helpful too. I think the people who have reviewed before me have taken shyness as being unfriendly. Again I love this store. read more
