Mo was great to work with, he helped me find a great suit, measured for tailoring, and all for a great price!

I recently purchased a modern cut wool suit from MO at the Gentlemen's Suit Outlet at 2963 W. 15th St, Suite 2983, Plano, TX 75075. It turns out that what I got was a classic cut suit, which explains why the shoulders wider than normal and the trousers are a little baggy. I usually have a slight roll below the neckline of suits that I buy. Mo kept pulling on the back of the coat and said that there was no roll and that it would not need to be taken up. You should know that alterations are in addition to the price of the suit and I was charged $110 (cash only) for the alterations that they did. My wife quickly noticed that this was not a modern cut suit and pointed it out to Mo. She showed how each shoulder should be taken in one inch and the neck roll was there, requiring a shortening of one inch. The legs in the trousers were bulky and instead of a slight break in the front, there is a large break. Mo mentioned that his tailor does not do anything more than simple alterations and he referred me to Sun's Tailor to have the suit alterations that were needed to make this suit fit like a modern cut suit. Sun's Tailor wanted more than $250 to do the alterations. This increased the cost of a $400 suit with tax to about $850. If I had wanted to spend this much on a suit, I would have gone to a the tailor I used in New York (oddly its called Mo's Tailors and is across from Grand Central Station). Mo seems to be more interested in separating you from your money than providing a quality service. Unless your body fits the suits there, you might want to go anywhere else. read more

He had me fitted with an entire outfit with the exception of a belt and socks in under 15 minutes. Mo, the owner is a true gem. I was an airline ticket away from making a huge mistake. I already knew the style that I wanted and thought my best bet to find a modern and yet old style on a budget was in either Houston or Downtown LA. Found this place on yelp and I have to say, all the reviews are spot on! I came in looking for a black suit for my friends wedding without any idea of where to start. Mo took one look at me and knew my size immediately. The first jacket he pulled out fit me perfectly and I was sold. I've never had a suit fit so well. I have broad shoulders and usually have to get a jacket that's a little too big so the fact that his suit fit was a great surprise. He also offered to tailor my pants to have a slim fit. With a great discount on the Sunday deal, I left the store extremely pleased and will definitely be going back for my next suit! While Mo was very nice and attentive, the selection at the store was very poor. 90% of the suits were a poly blend. When I asked Mo to see 100% wool suits he tried to tell me that those will get eaten by moths and that is why he doesn't sell wool suits. That is absurd. If you want nice, quality, wool suits, then you need to go elsewhere. We ended up at Men's Wearhouse and were very happy with the selection, service and prices (they were having a Father's Day special). I cannot say enough nice things about Mo. Originally I took in my father to get a suit for my wedding. I called to make an appointment for Sunday (there is a yelp deal), but Mo assured me, he will give me the best deal... and he definitely delivered. My father is very old, and the first thing I noticed... how much respect Mo had for my father and genuinely cared and took care of him. He helped him and made great suggestions on colors and how to coordinate the tie/pocket square. He has shoes, belts, cufflinks, ties.. you name it, it is here all in this store. The suit fit so well, the only thing we had to fix, was the length of the pants. For this, Mo sent us to his tailor (about 3 miles north from the shop) and we were able to hem his pants in 20 minutes for $15. Fast forward a couple of months, now it is my father's birthday, so we went to get him another suit! Mo remembered us, and it was the same loving experience. Again, we walked out with another suit (navy blue this time), shoes, belt, shirt... it was such a nice experience, it really made my dad feel special. Mo is so easy to work with, he has great deals and such a large selection of suits to choose from. With this being said, I am sending my Man of Honor & my bride man to him for their suits as well.
