In a day where army navy stores seem to disappear this one excels!!! They had a great selection of military gear and apparel but also marine gear and more!! Kayaks priced very reasonable and even things you don't normally see or think to find. Greatly enjoyed looking through this store(actually had to go twice because you can easily miss something to look at) Nice store :) read more

Top of the line gear is the norm here. Thank God they are still around because every Army Navy store from Boston to Hyannis sells pure junk!! A frequent flyer whenever I come to town , I just scored some super comfortable Carhart shorts for 23.00 , a steal and I love them. I bought a friend a jacket HH, she was thrilled I guess it is a good brand (for cheap) I love this store, plenty of parking and the staff has always been helpful. Went to Go Bananas for a fishing kayak. The associate was very knowledgeable and patient. Had many questions, all were answered. He provided the positives and negatives of each kayak, did not try to sell the most expensive one. Ended up buying middle of the road and a second one for my wife. Banana's rocks!!! If you're into camo, this is the place to visit. They have a wide selection of clothes and gear, all in camo. They also sell paint ball/bb gun accessories and boots. Its a decent sized store as well and the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. This is my new go to place if I am in desperate need of camo! read more

My husband and I love this store! Everyone working there has always been friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we went on a busy day and bought 2 paddle boards. The one my husband chose was just right for him but I bought a board that was too small for me as I found out that day when most of my board was under water. I called the next morning and spoke to the owner who was professional and friendly. He told me to bring it back to exchange for a bigger board. I went there to exchange the board for a bigger one without a problem at all. It was the easiest, most positive return experience I have had ANYWHERE! I thanked them profusely and left a happy satisfied customer. We will continue to go back to Bananas in the future. They also have a great selection of water accessories. Went into their Kingston, Ma location to look at kayaks. We had been several places and people did not seem overly knowledgeable and very small selection. They had several of the kayaks that I liked from online reviews in stock. My hubby and I both found ones we liked. There was a discount off list pricing and the price was more than fair. We got everything we needed right there and walked out happy. We have been our several times in them and are very happy with our choice along with the help we received from staff. read more

Fun place to poke around in. Everything from camping goods, to military leftovers. We go mostly for the kayaking and beach supplies. Picked up a sit on top Kayak and paddle there. Prices are definitely reasonable on everything there. Worth going in just to browse the assortment of stuff. read more

This store has everything! It's an exceptional place to go for articles you can't find elsewhere. My wife needed a pair of fishing waders, and we received lots of help choosing the right ones. Keep looking around and you find things you've needed for years but could not find--it's a fun place. Need a back scratcher? Got 'em. Need tarred cod line? Got it. Need cast iron skillets?
