It was Halloween and it was such a sweet treat to have their booth set up for us to enjoy. I tried the milk tea (no boba). But I am intrigued in their Indian tea for the milk tea! I will definitely try to see where they're going to pop up next to get me some more milk tea. The drinks are very refreshing and delicious! It was not overly sweet, and it is very fragrant. Love the unique concept with Indian flavors. There are oat milk & almond milk options to make it vegan. You can order ahead & just pick it up. The owner is lovely & def want to support this business. Tropical thunder dirty soda & thandai which is naturally vegan since made with almond milk was great! I added coffee jelly. My husband didn't find variyali soda to be of variyali flavor & the kaju pista shake had a bit more sugar than the actual flavor according to the people I got the drinks for. read more

Such an interesting and unique concept on boba, yet the drinks are fantastic in taste and execution. We were not disappointed with the Guava Lassi with lychee jelly and Brown Sugar Boba Masala Chai, and we will be back to try new flavors. Starting with the Guava Lassi, it is a yogurt based drink with a nice tang that was paired really well with the sweetness of guava flavor and lychee jelly. It tastes like a better, more fresh version of yakult. As for the Brown Sugar Masala Chai, the classic drink is enhanced with a distinct Indian taste and the boba was cooked well with a soft chewy texture. Highly recommended! As of this posting on 6/14: at their current location on 1434 Hamner Ave., there is no storefront as they are operating out of a ghost kitchen. You can order online through GrubHub or via phone text/call to pick up, and they will bring out your drinks to your car. I recently visited and tried the Kesar-pista sharbat. Ive had a variety of experiences with saffron, but was happy with the balanced blend of spices and sweetness. Also, the pearls were nicely flavored and chewy. I'm excited to visit more frequently and explore the different menu options. We recently stumbled upon this hidden gem while visiting the IE, and we've been back twice we love it so much!   They offer a fantastic range of flavors that you won't find anywhere else. Last time I tried the Guava Lassi Boba which was uniquely tropical and sweet, and so pretty. My friend had the Parle Cookie Butter Latte, which was equally delicious and so cute with the little cookies on top!   I highly recommend ordering ahead. The first time we came there was a bit of a wait, because from what I understand the owner makes the drinks himself if you are a "walk-in". So we took his advice and ordered ahead while we were driving over and they were waiting for us when we got there which was great.   A must try if you're in the area, like Indian food, or just good drinks in general. read more

This was hands down the best boba tea I have ever tried. On top of that, the owner was so sweet! I was waiting for ten minutes and he offered to give me discounted drinks for the wait, which I thought was so kind :). They have a variety of options to choose from and if you're trying to avoid sugar, they have sugar free options as well! I got a matcha boba with whole milk and it was so good. I dont usually write reviews but one afternoon I had a serious craving for boba and came across this gem. The only thing to outdo the presentation was the actual drinks themselves. Band Baaja Boba definitely hit the spot with all the classic flavors and the menu is full creative new drinks with Indian flair. I was originally lured in by the Mango Lassi and have tried the Alphonso Mango and Guava but my favorite, at the moment, is probably the Horchaita.
