We stopped by here after lunch, we just checked yelp to see the closest boba place where we at, we got the avocado with boba, watermelon slush, Vietnamese coffee and green matcha macaron. Clean place, I love the anime wall and the furnitures. Avocado tastes like avocado and boba is soft. The staff are friendly, my husband spilled some of the avocado, I think their cups are a little bit soft and the avocado was heavy, they did offer to fix it for my husband but we just asked for a another cup to put it under the first cup to make it more stable. Overall great staff and delicious drinks.

Classic Milk Tea Boba, bobastar, blue sky, mountains.

Favorite bubble tea place. Very kind staff & love the anime & ambiance very refreshing on a hot day. Support local small business.

I like the ambience and the Affordable prices. I also felt that the ingredients were of high quality. I got a large green tea boba with 25% sweeter added and mango jelly. The size of the large was reasonable for the price. I live nearby and will definitely return again when I am driving by running errands

The drinks were actually VERY good. The staff was very helpful and the art all over the walls was great!

Inside the place is decorated with hand drawn art with different characters from different anime shows as well as some plants. The honey boba is very good. It tastes just like I'm eating straight from the melon itself. The taro malta tea is just as good. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some yummy drinks and a place to chill.

Service is always great! Drinks have never let me down, whenever I have a sweet tooth I can count on a boba , macaroon, or ice cream from Boba Star to satisfy my cravings. I usually get my drinks to go but there is seating inside and lots of impressive art on the walls to enjoy. The wait is never long here. Great experience every time I've gone. Absolutely love this location

Service was great. They were very nice. The boba was really good. The taro smoothie was ok, just didn't have the flavor that I've had at other places. Other people had the milk tea and it looked good, so I'll need to try it next time.

Wintermelon Smoothie with Taro Pudding

LOVE LOVE LOVE all the anime art everywhere. I got a wintermelon smoothie with taro pudding and my boyfriend got the taro milk tea with sea salt cream and it's the BEST we have ever had. It's so rich, more on the sweet side, but so delicious. The servers were nice as well and accommodating.

Wondering what the point of a less sweet box is

Worst boba I've ever had. I got the easiest drink. Thai tea boba. It did not taste like Thai tea. In fact if I were to close my eyes and drink it I would think I was drinking sugar water. It was so overwhelmingly sweet I went home and split it in two cups added extra ice and milk just to not waste the boba. I even asked them to adjust the sweetness to not add any if possible. My kids got the matcha and the lychee. The lychee was pretty good but the matcha was also so sweet that it stole from the matcha flavor. The shop itself is cute and clean, has a lot of anime decor and a few tables. The girl working the register was ok, she wasn't going to ask about the sweetness adjustment and originally said no they don't do that. Then the girl making drinks said they can. I felt like she could be friendlier.

I recently had boba star for the first time this past memorial weekend. The anime artwork on the wall and demon slayer themed parking looks really cool and adds a nice theme to the the shop. The boba here is so fresh and warm. I haven't had boba this good in a while. I had the avacado smoothie and it tasted amazing. I'll be sure to come back here regularly when I'm in the area

Canvas Coffee caught my eye, and I loved that it felt community-driven right from the start. It's located next door to a church, and you can tell there's an affiliation because the space is huge, open, and welcoming. Everyone inside was genuinely kind and friendly. It has that warm, community vibe that makes you feel comfortable immediately. I can imagine it being especially lively on a Sunday morning when services let out. The menu is fun and extensive. I originally considered the "Katy Perry" drink (which sounded adorable), but it's a layered drink and I wasn't in the mood for something sweet or decorative. I went with my usual: a sugar-free vanilla latte topped with salted caramel cold foam. I was only the third person in line, and my drink came out almost immediately, which I appreciated. They also had several breakfast options that looked really good. The jalapeño bagel stood out to me, and the veggie bagel sandwich looked tempting too. I just wasn't hungry enough to commit this time, but I'd definitely try one on a return visit. As for the coffee itself, it arrived piping hot, which I love. On first sip, though, it was lighter in flavor than I expected. If you prefer a blonde roast or a milder coffee profile, this might be your spot. I personally tend to gravitate toward a more medium or bold roast, so it didn't quite hit that depth I usually look for. Overall: Atmosphere - great Service - friendly and efficient Coffee strength - lighter than my preference Four stars from me. I'd come back, especially for the vibe and to give the food menu a try next time.

I chose to use my own mobile hotspot instead and continued working. At no point was I informed that remaining in the space without making a purchase was not permitted, nor was any time limit communicated. Later, the owner approached me and asked me to leave because I had not purchased anything, explaining that the café was not a public library and referencing others who use cafés as workspaces. As someone who values and supports small businesses--especially in our post-pandemic community--I was disappointed by the lack of compassion and clarity in how this was handled. I understand and respect a business owner's right to set policies, but when those expectations are not clearly communicated to all guests, enforcement can feel abrupt and personal. Small businesses often pride themselves on community, warmth, and care. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here. I hope that in the future, clearer communication and a more empathetic approach can guide interactions with patrons.

I asked the staff at Kaza Mazza what they thought of it and they said it was their bakery too! I love Kaza Mazza and figured their bakery would probably be pretty spectacular too...and I was right. Step into Marhaba and you will find yourself in a quaint coffee shop and bakery welcomed by some of the nicest people. I don't recall the young man's name but he worked there on 1/13/26 @ about 830pm and was so hospitable. Im not too knowledgeable on Mediterranean sweets so he explained their menu in detail...unfortunately, most of their goodies were gone. I had their Baklava w/pistachio, a slice of their Knafeh (which I have never had before and knew nothing about) and we also had their Caramel Macchiato and Lavender Latte. I dont think I can properly describe their baked goods other than it was a delectable experience. The Baklava was crisp, rich and not too sweet while the Knafeh with its cheese and various textures just melted in my mouth. My hubby even enjoyed these and he isn't much of a dessert fan! Their coffees were also very good. We both enjoyed what we ordered and look forward to many returns. Thank you Marhaba for your kind hospitality delicious desserts and amazing coffee!

It was warm and the door was left open and there were 2 tables that had customers waiting for their orders. I ordered 6 pcs of the baklava then asked about the matcha and the guy said he had no idea what it tasted like. Red flag, my husband definitely was not having him make his matcha lol. I ordered an iced Americano with a splash of half n half thinking that this was a safe choice. He left the register and went to the back where him and a lady spoke loudly to each other for about 5 minutes. He came back and proceeded to try to ring me up. He had no idea how to use the clipp coupon and made several attempts but failed. He finally called the owner who then walked him through the process. Then came the worst part... He went to make my Americano. First he made the espresso shots, great! Then he filled a cup to the top with ice, excellent. THEN He filled almost the entire cup with half n half and put the shot in! I'm talking there was 1 full cup of half n half in my Americano. I'm talking 300 calories not 60. If you know anything about Americano you would understand how wrong this is. The cup should have been at least 1/2-3/4 filled with water first! It was not drinkable and I did not try to explain and I was not going to wait for another drink because at this point our quick stop for drinks and a treat turned into a 20 minute ordeal. Overall he seemed like the wrong person to lead the store. I know this is a new bakery and I know that a lot of blood, sweat and tears go into new businesses. I am all for supporting them. But it was a bad decision to put someone that was inexperienced alone to run it. It would have been better practice to just put up a sign that said. Sorry no drinks available today instead of risking him making a bunch of drinks wrong. The baklava I thought was excellent, tasty and not too sweet. It's unfortunate that I will not be back.

They're a bit quiet when you walk in but they do greet you when you walk up to order. They also sell pastries and breakfast there too if you want something to munch on with your coffee. I got the large iced tiramisu latte and large iced banana pudding latte. I asked the lady helping me how many shots came in the drink. She mentioned that all their large drinks comes with 3 shots of espresso, which is a good amount. There are also milk substitution available for those that are lactose like my husband. That's an extra charge on top of adding an extra shot too. Drinks are a good size. Pricing is already $8 for the drinks I got so add ons can make it go up. All up to how you like your coffee. Wait time is average and not long. The only hard part is the door to get out. If you have two drinks in your hands, it's hard to pull open the door. Thankfully there were a few nice guys sitting near by that I was able to ask to open the door for me since my hands were full. Kind of wish their door was reversed. Pull open from the outside and push open from the inside so you can easily open/push it yourself when your hands are full. First thing I notice when I take a sip is my drink is peppermint. My husband said no to the Christmas version of my drink. He asked if I wanted to go in. I said no. We had already waitrd 40 minutes and had a baby with us who needed a diaper chance, along with needing to hit the grocery store near by. We leave and go to a nearby grocery store. We get baby out of the car, get shopping cart and my husband picks up a drink and the lid wasnt on all the way. I immediately said we needed to go back and tell them about the peppermint and the lid! But baby needed her butt cleaned. So I went into grocery store, changed her diaper. Went back to car, loaded her up and went back while husband shopped. I got there and asked the nice young lady at the counter if I could have a remake of the one with the lid not on right. But totally get if its no. She said let me ask my boss. Boss came out and immediately asked for name on order I said it and started explaining what happened and went to say but I get if not. She immediately went 'Its been an hour!" I told her it took 40 minutes to get 2 drinks with no one in front of us! I had to reload baby up etc. She started saying we needed to come in right away etc. But we did as fast as we could. Wouldn't even let me get a word in about just paying for another drink. Lecturing me on how the lids fit tightly... its why I came back. Its why I pointed out the peppermint. Mistakes happened. Service here was fine, nothing to write home about. I ordered the fruit salad, and I had wanted it with cottage cheese since that was one of the options, and they said they had none and only had yogurt. I ended up getting the yogurt, but I found it odd that on a holiday weekend they wouldn't have all of the menu items. Two people in our group got chilaquiles- one rojo and one verde. They both felt like there wasn't enough sauce, egg, or guac. The presentation was nice, but it was dry. The last person in our group ordered The Journey pancakes, and while it was fun looking, it didn't taste special- it seems like a pancake that wants to go viral. Many of the pancakes came with ice cream, which I thought was odd for breakfast. Probably wouldn't be my first place I would think of going for breakfast or brunch, but I imagine it might be fun with a larger group. With that being said, they are unable to split a check even between two parties unless you do an even split, so be prepared for that.
