First time at this boba location on Monday around 3:30pm, the service was amazing. The employee behind the counter was really sweet and patient when my partner and I were ordering. We ended up getting a peach and raspberry slush which I was worried about due to sweetness but it was just the perfect amount. Plus the slush wasn't just crushed ice it was actually soft like slush, which most boba places suck at it!!!! Boba was cooked to perfection. The location inside is very cozy and cutely decorated. Didn't get a picture of the boba drink since we finished it before I remembered to take a photo! lol read more

Cute little store in the heart of Corona. Too bad. The location didn't look desirable in my opinion. The service was friendly. The are few tables to sit and carry a conversation. Do you know how many stamp cards I have redeemed here!?!? This is my go to place for boba! My son always wants his blue straw to go along with his milk tea with strawberry popping boba! I love the caramel latte frappe with almond milk and whipped cream! Kids working here but are great and happy to help! Place is small so don't plan on having a lot of people around. I wanted to try a new boba shop and came across this one. I'm sorry, but the prices are not reasonable for the size of drink that you get. It was almost $6 with taxes to buy a regular milk tea with boba. Check out the picture of the size of cup for a regular, it's so small. It felt like a scam. When in need of boba, while there may be lots of options in the area, this is one of the better ones. It's family run and they have a decent sized menu and a little bit of seating area. I got to try the Taro Milk Tea Slush and the Milk Tea with mini boba here. They were both decent and hit the spot with the good creamy texture. It didn't taste watered down. The interior is a little bit clustered but either way I'd say a solid 3-3.5 stars around the industry average or maybe just slightly above. It's air conditioned inside and you have lots of nice slush drinks to choose from as well. read more

I love coming here for the boba and boba only. The service here is horrible, it took 4 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was in the store... they don't ever welcome you in nicely, they completely ignore you. They need better customer service, that's what running a business is all about. After today, I will never go back again. read more

Tried to give this place a chance so many times , but the drinks always come out gross . The cashiers are always so rude and look like they don't want to be there. My mom and sister went and they messed up my strawberry milk tea. It was just completely plain. It tasted like vinegar, and my sister asked for a Vietnamese coffee and they gave her a slushy and when she told her that it wasn't the right drink she rolled her eyes, went back and gave her black straight coffee ,It did not taste good. The girl who attended them was asian , and had her hair up , gave them so much attitude for no reason . Hope this location works on their employees knowing the drinks and being a decent human being to others . read more

This Avocado smoothie is delicious! I'm not a fan of super sweet boba drinks and this was the perfect amount of sweetness with soft chewy boba! Super happy they have a milk alternative so that's a bonus. Their service is super friendly and fast. The best part was the anime art all over the wall. Very bad experience , never go to this place again . The owner of the place took my order and she charge me extra money when I ask her for light ice . Ok... Do not get me started. I didn't have high expectations with this place, but then again it still disappointed me in every way possible. Please note, I'm very picky when it comes to my boba drinks. I'm the type that wants her tea exactly the way it should taste which means if the flavor isn't there... it's already 2 stars down. You neglected the taste in the tea and the milk tea tasted expired!? 1 extra star down! Shame on you. So let's get this review started. I'm a big fan of Lavender milk tea. You should know lavender has a very distinctive taste and smell, right? Well, I would hope so. The lavender milk tea I got from here, didn't have any lavender taste to it period. I tried sipping a few time, inhaling it like a vacuum a few times with the straw and ALL I GOT WAS F F F F F MILK TEA!!!! How is this efffing possible? When you advertise lavender milk tea, I expect lavender milk tea, not some milk tea I can get from another boba joint or better yet a cafe bistro can make this nasty shit. The milk tea itself tasted like it's milk tea made from a few days ago, and it was left in the fridge to be drunk by the next idiot customer. I'm sorry, but it was NO BUENO! I hope it wasn't expired milk tea or something. My fiancé got the strawberry green tea, and he said it was OK. When he says OK in the way he sounded, it means it ain't that good. I'm not sure how bad or how kinda good it was, but I guess I ain't coming back to order drinks anymore. I'm usually not this harsh on reviews, but this place honestly needs to double check on their flavors in milk tea. If I were them, I would check the flavor powders or whatever they use to make the boba drinks taste a certain flavor. The obvious reason is, I can't taste any lavender in my drink at all. I don't know, maybe they were slacking that day or something? I hope their other flavors aren't just tasting like regular milk tea too. Somebody should be checking all the ingredients they use for the milk teas such as taro, coconut and etch. They should have the flavor as described on their drinks menu, or they should just start selling MILK TEA PERIOD... Parking isn't a problem here. They have their own private parking lot. read more

So glad they finally have a boba place in this neighborhood!! Very yummy classic milk tea and thai milk tea. Also tasted the raspberry macarons. They had real raspberry filling. They have a great selection of milk tea boba drinks, smoothies, lemonade, fraps, and teas. They also have variety of macarons and macaron ice cream. Love that they have a stamp card system. I will be filling that up soon. Yesterday was their grand opening and they are giving away milk and thai milk tea boba drinks only 02/01 and 02/02. Glad I was able to discover them today, 02/02 and took advantage of the giveaway. There is plenty of snacks for sale, seating, and wifi. The staff is very friendly and was able to answer all my questions. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I love Boba Star and have loved it for 4 years now. Great taste, honestly set the standard for boba and I haven't liked any other honey boba other than theirs. Semi a random hole in the wall location, you'll miss it if you aren't looking for it. Decided to go here on a whim and it's okay. I miss living walking distance from this boba shop ! I would go nearly everyday. Went through 3 almost 4 stamp cards and before i knew about the stamp cards i probably ordered a good 5 times. Ive tried ShareTea, ItsBobaTime and other little boba spots but ever since i tried boba star i fell in LOVEE . They make thai tea perfectly. The best thai tea ive ever had. I used to like this place until the last 4 times I've been here and something has been wrong each time. I repeat MILK tea to the person taking orders multiple times and it still ends up being regular tea. On the most recent visit, my 2 drinks were mixed up. I didn't realize it until I got home but I wouldn't have wanted to wait for my drinks to be remade because I already waited 30 minutes for everyone's orders of smoothies. I'd rather go to the nearby boba place Krak Boba, and I don't even like their drinks that much but at least it's right every time. read more

I've been wanting to try out this boba shop for a bit and finally went. It is great! Staff are very friendly! I ordered my drinks over the phone and there was zero wait time picking them up. I have been looking for a place that offers popping boba and found one so close. The location is clean and very well kept. I ordered strawberry lemonade with popping boba and it was delicious. I'm scared and intrigued. I'm happy to report back I will admit I jumped to conclusions. The vermicelli was delicious and we ordered both grilled pork and beef; IMO beef was tastier. The portions were generous and the veggies were crisp and fresh! The fries were crispy and the beef was very tender. This would be a great dish to share because of the mountain of fries! The seafood by the pound sparked my interest because I'm a fan of Boiling Crab. I got the cajun house special sauce medium. You can also pick garlic butter or lemon pepper for your sauce option. It came out super saucy and thick..good but not comparable to BC. This had more of an Asian stir fry sauce feel. The staff were very attentive and came frequently enough to check on the table for water, etc. I appreciated the gloves for my shrimp since it was so saucy. The restaurant was half full, mild white noise...you could still hear each other. Solid 4 stars. There was a decent amount of seating available inside and outside. The bowl itself tasted pretty good for a protein based acai bowl. I do wish they put the peanut butter on top because I like having it with the bowl. By the time I got to the peanut butter there wasn't much acai or fruit left to enjoy it with. The peanut butter was actually so good and fresh. I might do the buttah next time just to get more of it.
