I recently visited Boba Fiend Tea House in Corona as I was craving for some good boba. The shop is located in a convenient plaza, and parking was easy to find with plenty of spaces. Inside, the décor is modern with a clean layout, and comfortable couch seating that makes it a nice place to hang out. The staff were especially friendly and welcoming, taking time to answer questions and recommend drinks based on preferences. I really liked their positive attitude and they were very quick and effieicnt to make my drink. I ordered their Oreo Milk Tea with Boba and it was delicious. Nexxt time I will order their brown sugar boba and mixt it up with popping boba. The boba itself was soft and chewy, and the drinks were well balanced in sweetness. Located in the 'Country Side Center' on Griffin Way and McKinley St with plenty of parking. While we initially stopped in for a hot brew, take note that all drinks here, including the coffee, are served chilled. I had their 'Strawberry Smoothie with Boba' and a 'Coffee Latte'. The Strawberry Smoothie was perfectly blended and refreshing, while the Coffee Latte was delightfully sweet and creamy. They serve a variety of Milk Teas, Fruit Teas, Yogurt Juices, Slushies, Smoothies, Cold Coffee, and Croffles which are Croissant/Waffle tooped with sweet treats. There's plenty of seating and even some table/card games for entertainment. The place is very clean and organized with friendly and efficient service. BEST Vietnamese coffee I've ever had! The owner and her kids are an incredibly nice and always provide such great service. They're always so helpful with questions or suggestions. I go specifically for the coffee to the point where I'm here 2-3 times a week. And I take some home for later or for the next day. Their boba drinks are also very good (my wife's go to) and it's nice that you can adjust the sweetness and have dairy free or milk alternative options. The coffee with the ube cream top or the regular sweet cream top is so so delicious. Such damn good combo. Their croffles is the only good option they have but those are also so simple yet so good. Went here on Friday night excited to finally see it open. Ordered a like size Thai Tea and Krypteanite. They had their sizes on the counter, with the 16 oz cup being labeled "viet coffee" and the like size as the wider, 24 oz cup. When we got our drinks they were in the smaller, 16 oz cups. Not only was the drink in a 16 oz cup, but the price was the same as when it used to come in the 24 oz. I should've said something, but didn't really think of it until we already left. If it does come in a smaller size now fine, but I shouldn't be charged almost $6 for 8 oz less. Especially upsetting because their sizes for their price is part of why Boba Fiend has always been my go-to, and was I just at the Rancho location last weekend with no issue. Probably won't come back to this location. read more

I have been working in Corona for the past couple months. On my way home, I wanted to see how close Boba Fiend was, as I live in Lake Forest and usually frequent the Yorba Linda location after the Santa Ana location closed. To my suprise, I found this location just 3 miles down from my temporary workplace. I did not know they even had one this far out! Here is what I usually order: Tiger Milk Tea with Boba: This has been my favorite drink by far! This is one of their top drinks, and there are so many reasons why. It is a perfect balance of thai tea and milk tea. It is not too sweet and is always consistent. Mango Slush with Boba: This is always refreshing! Im sure it is just a bunch of syrup blended up with ice, but it is consistent each time. Overall, I make the drive to Boba Fiend because of their consistency. I have found that other boba shops either have too milky of milk tea or their boba is not soft and chewy. I know that each time I come here, the quality is always the same. They are quick at making your drinks and are nearly done by the time you are ordering. As a person who works in the food industry, I can definitely appreciate this. I've been to a handful of Boba places, and I have to say that I haven't found one that tastes completely different than other Bob spots. I usually get the Taro smoothie with Boba everywhere I go. This review is based on the area of the shop and the inside. This place is more of a get it and go type of deal. You don't really want to hang out here. The inside is blah and needs to be updated. I feel like with Boba spots, you have to stand out from the rest based on the ambiance and customer service. If you don't have that, customers just go to you because you're conveniently close to where they were or needed to be. Time for some store updates! read more
