Had a kitchen sink drain issue. Mark P came out and said bandaid fix was $150 but for $250 would clear drain all the way to street. for $650 would hydro clean it. Choose $250 and 24 hours later drain backed up again. Called and was told no guarantee but would put $250 on the the Hydro clean bill of 650. He talked a good game and me not knowing anything about plumbing I fell for it. Called to talk to owner and never got a call back. Checked Ca, license board and says the dont have employees so dont pay for workmans comp. So what kind of business is this other than bilking people out of money. will be filing complaint with Ca license board and better business. Watch out. read more

Very friendly, but great talkers and if you have no plumbing experience you're in for it. We had a horrible smell from the septic tank intermittently in the primary bathroom. They replaced the wax ring, did a pretend smoke test, claim to find one miniature thing in a pipe just below the toilet that they alleged needed repair. Several hours later the bill was $5500. Two days later the SMELL was BACK with a vengeance and they want to charge me MORE MONEY to fix it. They didn't give me a an itemized receipt either. And for some reason am having an impossible time getting that from them. I feel fully taken advantage of. That bill wiped out my savings! NOW I need a real PLUMER AND i GUESS...since these folks cant take my call or return my call - I'll need an ATTORNEY read more

I had 2 plumbing issues at my house. I found these guys on Craigslists and Daniel came out that same day. They gave me an estimate and was able to bundle a discount for me. We scheduled them back the next day. He came on time and was very professional. He was thorough in his explanation. Job was finished in timeframe as promised. There was a leaky faucet outside that needed to be repaired as well as a new bathroom sink installed. There was a minor issue with the sink faucet but he returned right away (early Sunday morning) to take care of it. Communication and response was good. I would use them again. read more

I had a toilet that was so clogged that I could not get it unclogged with my toilet auger. I called up this plumber and they were able to take care of the entire process. Not only did they remove the toilet and completely remove the clog, they also cleaned out all the drains in the toilet and from the toilet and cleaned up after themselves. I realized how important it was to hire a professional after I saw all the work they put into the process. Could I have purchased a nice auger, removed the toilet and cleaned out everything myself? More like Bandidos plumbing. Other reviewers are spot on with how this company is super shady, and backs you into a corner to force more money out of you for unnecessary work. I called them to remove and replace 2 toilets in a house I just bought. I already purchased the toilets on my own. I was quoted $500 for the job. First off, they were not on time. Then they removed both my toilets after seeing that the first toilet phlange was rusted out leaving me with no toilets. Then they tell me that the new toilets cannot be installed due to the state of the phlanges. I asked how much to replace the phlanges to which I wast told you cannot replace cast iron phlanges. THe floor will need to be jack hammered out to cut a few feet past the elbow to replace the 90 and install a new phlange for both of my bathrooms. There I am with no toilets around 1pm with a teenager at home, and am new to this area. I ask how much and am told $4,200 each bathroom!! I told them I cannot afford $8200 after just purchasing my first home, and having replaced flooring, etc. The "boss" calls in and says he was able to get it dropped to $3800 each. I was completely under duress and resorted to my credit cards. To top it all off, they damaged my walls, tub, and light fixtures, all while covering everything in my house with a layer of super fine dust from the jack hammering! They didn't put up any plastic sheets or even close the doors. WHen confronted with all of this they tried to say that they are not responsible for any of it,"they are just plumbers" WTF?! They finally admited to the damage of the walls and tub (big chip down to the metal) after I showed them photos of the place a couple of days prior to their arrival, and said they would come back and fix it so the allowed me to withhold a few hundred dollards from the payment until they come back to fix it. They never came back or even contacted me at all. It has been almost 7 weeks now. I kno wI am at fault for giving in, I panicked and believed them that this was the only fix. I know know from extensive research and, having other professionals in my home, that I was completely and thouroughly fleeced! I also had to have my bathromms retiled, and have the toilets removed and replaced properly. Expensive life lesson learned. Stay away from Bandidos Plumbing!!!! read more

On Tuesday April 8th I searched for a plumber on Google and found an advertisement for Banderas Plumbing $89 drain cleaning, when I called they said this doesn't apply to a main drain. They sent Kevin Fish and another technician possibly Daniel Hernandez out to inspect and give an estimate. They arrived around 10:30am to my property. The technician called and told me that I have 2 options, first option was $800 plus to auger and camera the line and clean it out, however the second option he said was to dig down and replace a crushed rubber fitting in the line that was crushed from pressure of the toilet flange being placed on it and it was $6500 Guaranteed to fix my problem. I told him I only called because of the $89 special and he told me it was $250 to attempt to open the drain. I told him I can't afford any of the quotes which he gave me and if he wouldn't do it for $150 then thank you and I can't. He said well since I'm already here and to keep my boss happy and off my back will I allow him to do it for $175. I agreed to that and he called me back approximately 20-30 min later and said well I tried and it just won't open up, he also mentioned seeing the 4" abs line twisting under the weight of the toilet and bringing up sand and he said he had pinpointed where it was leaking up from the ground. I went a few hours later and used a 2000psi GreenWorks pressure washer with a 20' water jet auger and hose attachment and started working on the plug myself as I knew it didn't have any issue other than the baby wipes in the line, we had this lane cameras approximately 6 months ago with a similar issue and it was completely fine. As I put the hose/auger into the line it went right in up to the point where the plug was which was approximately 16-18 feet in, from there I jetted the pressure auger against the blockage for approximately 8-10 minutes and had clear water fill the line and started to bring up toilet paper and other debris. A few more minutes went by and I heard a small pop sound and the water immediately went down as if something flushed it wide open. I ran the water down for a few minutes after to clean and ensure it was open and then called the owner/manager? of Banderas Plumbing Company and he told me his name was Mark. I told Mark exactly what had transpired and demanded a full refund as his technician supposedly used a metal cutting auger in the drain and was unsuccessful in opening the same clog which was paper product, and I had opened up with a pressure washer and water jet attachment within 10 minutes of jetting the blockage myself. The attachment had a pin point size hole in the end of the nozzle to break up the paper blockage and was definitely not as effective as a metal cutting blade however it opened right up. He argued with me and eventually agreed to give me 1/2 of what I paid back. He told me give him an hour and I agreed. I waited several hours and eventually called him back, he had a dispatcher tell me they will have the money sent back to me via Zelle which was exactly how I sent it to him before the end of day. It didn't happen. To top the entire experience off the technician has left the cap to my sewer line off and in a pile under some aluminum siding we had laying on the ground to stop mud for whomever was working on the line, so they wouldn't have to stand in whatever came out of the line. By the way there was absolutely nothing on the ground prior to me opening the line so I absolutely without a doubt knew that there was really little to no effort out into opening my paper product clog. Beware I wouldn't recommend risking using this company as I feel they attempted to defraud me. Good luck. read more
