I loved this place! It was super cute and cozy. The woman behind the counter was so kind. The food was good. We ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel with cream cheese, a bacon cheddar bagel with cream cheese, and a breakfast burrito. All of it was fantastic! We especially loved the breakfast burrito. Excellent as always. 24 years now of coming here and still seeing the original proprietor and family running the show. We picked up our preorders for the drive home while having breakfast here. Today I'm having the Egg Mitt on a butter croissant. The one I ordered is on a crispy flaky buttered croissant, served steamy hot and with sausage as my option between that, bacon or ham. Provolone for my choice of cheese and of course, egg. The egg is fried well and fits perfectly within the croissant (my choice over a bagel). The sausage patty is also well done and not over seasoned. I could eat these all day. These are very addictive. One of the owners recognized us and reminded us of our first time here, wow! She remembered! A long time ago we were lost one dark and stormy weekend....... Went to this little bake shop looking for rolls, but ended up walking out with a loaf of sourdough, a chocolate chip cookie, blueberry bran muffin and their carrot cake (shaped like a large cupcake). They were kind enough to slice the sourdough loaf for me, which I immediately tried after I left the shop. It was still warm, so naturally I had to. The ingredients are listed on the wall above the shelf, and although I saw a few more ingredients listed than I would have liked, I bought it any way. It was definitely sourdoughy, which was great, but wished it had a hint more salt. But, that's just a personal preference. The chocolate chip cookie - perfect. Would buy again. The blueberry bran muffin - it's like eating a "healthy" treat. Good amount of chunks of blueberry at the bottom. Perfect for someone looking for a baked good that's not overly sweet. Carrot cake - this wasn't for me, but I did have a bite. It's about 1/2 icing (not exactly icing, not exactly cheesecake, not exactly sweet, but delicious nonetheless) and 1/2 cake, which is fine by me . We loved this little place. Good coffee and pastries. First time my husband went and brought us both back a huge cinnamon roll. Delicious but very sweet. Yesterday we went in and got coffees and pastries and sat at one of their nice tables. They also sell bread, cookies, deli sandwiches etc. I had a chocolate filled chocolate croissant. Yummy!! Excellent pastries and customer service. On June 29, 2023, I bought my husband a raspberry danish, thinking he'd eat it the next morning as he'd already had breakfast. A short time later he began eating it, and I thought he'd eat half as they are large and look almost like two danishes stuck together. Well, about a minute and a half later, the whole thing was gone! I didn't even have time for my standard stolen bite of whatever treat he happens to be eating. Dang. The Bandon bakery has great customer service, and amazing owners andstaff. My favorite food items are the Wolf special bagel sandwich and the almond croissants. They also make my absolute favorite scones, the best scones I've ever had which you can special order I do believe. They are apricot and white chocolate and they are to die for. read more

I stopped by the Bandon Baking Company this morning on a whim. It was my friend's birthday and I wanted to grab something special to go with breakfast. They were open at 8 and the lady at the front was super nice. I asked for recommendations and she said the cinnamon rolls had just come out of the oven. I got four and they were huge! We still have leftovers but they were amazing. They weren't too sweet and the glaze was perfectly done. I also picked up a loaf of the cranberry bread because we are in Bandon and must have cranberries! It was also delicious. We will definitely stop by to try some more things! read more

I had a good time chatting with the employee behind the counter and she took the time to package up my order very neatly and carefully. Lovely local mom and pop type bakery with homemade pastries and good selection of beverages. They also serve a variety of lunch items. VERY hard to make a choice of pastry as they all looked so delicious! Finally decided on the double cherry danish($1.75) and the chocolate filled croissant. Ordered a large chai latte as well. They have some great cookies that are good for breakfast. However, their cinnamon rolls are way too sweet and sugary for my taste. I much prefer the plainer kind at their competitor's bakery down the street; the kind that just have a thin ribbon of cinnamon running through them, with white frosting on top. One huge disappointment was that they won't carry Pumpernickel bread. when I asked for it, I was told that "nobody cares for it". I know lots of people who love it. When I was a little girl living in the Midwest my dad would take me to the bakery, maybe once a month, to pick out a donut or pastry, or even a cookie of my choosing. Instead of rushing back home, we'd find a table there and sit across from each other to savor the baked good. My dad will still take me to a local bakery even now in my 30s. It's usually when I come down for a weekend visit to Bandon that we'll hop in his truck to take the short drive to Bandon Baking Company. We both opt for pastries and coffee. Our pastries are usually dry so I'm thinking we need to start arriving before 9:30am for warm, fresher items but then again, it's only 9:30am. The Boyd's coffee is fine but if your coffee requires flavoring or syrups maybe hit Human Bean instead. The friendly staff behind the counter are quick to serve and they welcome patrons to stay and chat and refill their mugs with hot coffee for as long as they please. read more

We had the egg mill was delicious. We tried the cheese danish, strawberry bar claw, cranberry nut bread, and the best carrot cake I EVER HAD. If you like full bodied black coffee this is the spot! Did not think Boyd's made such good coffee, came back for a 2nd cup. The French toast was good, not too eggy (says dipped in egg, but I asked and they said 50 50 egg/milk). Some places it comes out like a fried egg on the outside of the bread yuk. I had to stop here on our visit to Bandon, because I love bakeries. The staff was very friendly and there is a comfortable feeling about the place. I ordered a cappuccino (of course), a cinnamon roll and a date-filled bear claw. They only have paper cups for coffee drinks, so I had to make-do with that, but the cappuccino was pretty good overall. The cinnamon roll was good ..... it wasn't great and it wasn't bad, just good. I was disappointed with the bear claw. To call it "date-filled" is a misnomer. There was only a smidgen of date filling, surrounded by copious amounts of pastry dough. photo attached - I cut into the middle of the bear claw to best photograph the lack of date filling. The eclairs in the display case looked really good, and I should have ordered one of those. They looked home-made and delicious ... but I just couldn't go for such a decadent sweet so early in the day. Try the eclairs, they looked good.
