Customer service was disappointing. Came in for seafood and was waiting at the counter. As soon as some locals came in the lady behind the counter got super friendly and chit chatted with them. This building houses a fish-market (Watson's Live Seafood), but also several other small businesses selling various food and kitchen items that share a common cash-register and staff with the seafood market (The Shed / Farm & Sea). I'm honestly not clear who supplies the chowder -- I presumet it is Watson's, but that's not clear. This is a review of the chowder and of the fresh seafood, not of the associated deli-type market items which I presume are The Shed / Farm & Sea. The clam chowder here is quite good, and we went back several times to have it again and again. We bought a dozen oysters yesterday and 3 were bad/dead, so we had to throw them away. I went back today & spoke to cashier to ask her if an oyster is open does that mean it's dead if you tap on it and it doesn't close. She said yes. So I explained to her that we bought a dozen and 3 were dead. She asked if I knew who sold to us and I said No but anyone should know if they are open they shouldn't be selling them. I also told her I've had seafood poisoning several times so I wanted to let her know so that it doesn't happen to someone that doesn't know this info. She didn't seem concerned nor did she want to hear about it. They were also mushy oysters but not sure if that's because they were large. I'm used to buying small sized oysters. I'll tell ya...I'd never buy from there again. read more

Cute market with quite a bit to offer. I had their clam chowder and purchased some wild caught shrimp that were huge and delicious. They sell fresh baked bread, various locally made items and also have a stand for coffee. Lots of art on display. I will pop in for snacks whenever I'm in Bandon. read more

I have been looking everywhere for a whole turkey and finally found them right here in Bandon reasonably priced at Farm & Sea!

My parents just moved up to Bandon and we went exploring and found this gem! Absolutely awesome! Has great produce and fresh fish to select from and KILLER breakfast sandwiches. The new owner is wonderful and friendly with lots of great insights into local favorites. Excited to come back on the weekend and try the clam chowder. read more

This beautiful store is heavenly and highly recommend shopping here! I recently moved to the area and I walked in looking for some ceramic dishes. The friendly woman that greeted me gave me directions to a different store for the dishes. I later returned and purchased so many wonderful fresh items from them to cook a special birthday dinner. The owner, Lori who is a gem, picked all of the pairing wines for me. They were exceptional. I now shop their exclusively for my fresh fish, grass fed beef, gluten free pasta, organic vegetables, etc. Lori also carries many local jams and interesting sauces. Their homemade fresh seafood bisque and shrimp cocktail are amazing. If you are visiting, or a local, you must check them out! The prices are very reasonable. read more

This place is AMAZING. We're on vacation in Bandon and have been buying seafood at Watson's to bring back to our house to cook. Everything has been absolutely top notch and the dishes we have been making taste just like ones you would find in a restaurant (secret ingredients: top quality seafood, chili flakes, garlic, shallots, pinot grigio, lemon juice AND zest, Italian parsley, and butter... lots of delicious butter), but at a fraction of the price. We've bought: steamer clams (twice), crab meat, black cod, salmon, smoked salmon, and prawns. The case at Watson's is also frequently stocked with other awesome looking stuff such as ling cod, rockfish, halibut, etc. Prices are super reasonable and the service is friendly. Get there early because they do run out of stuff, especially on weekends. We live in Arizona so we are starved for good seafood, and we will pine for Watson's once we leave Bandon! read more

I like the improvements this place has done, offering a mini farmers market, wine, local items and artist goodies, and canned items for purchase along with their seafood. Today I purchased a small container (barely a pound) of ceviche, which was really just bay shrimp, salsa and fake crab (pollock) , not real crab, for $15! Not very flavorful, not worth the money (especially since I didn't get any real crab! ) read more
