So happy we found this cute little place for ice cream! It's in a newer development, which is nice, and right off the water. It's Labor Day, and most places are closed because of the holiday, but we got lucky today that this place was open so our family could enjoy a nice after-dinner dessert. The food here was phenomenal!! The cheese is excellent and makes a great Mac and cheese whether you want it plain or with add ins. The staff are friendly and tentative. Absolutely love the interior decorating of this establishment. Nothing is overpriced including their adorable stuffed animals which are cheap compared to any other place I've seen! Definitely recommend for lunch especially since most places are closed nearby at lunch time. read more

I love FaceRock cheese curds, so we had to make a stop to their creamery. Great cheese shop with variety of favors and some samples too. They make great sandwiches out of them, and also some local Food like popcorn and ketchup. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have ice cream, but it's from Umpqua Ice Cream, and not FaceRock. read more

Went here on the advice of the other Face Rock creamery and couldn't be more disappointed and concerned. The fried cheese curds were stuck together in big, congealed balls of cold curds and uncooked batter made with raw eggs, as the employee admitted to. This could very well make people SICK!! We are driving home hoping we didn't eat enough to get sick. If we do, Face Rock will be hearing from us again in a very different medium. The clam chowder was actually sour in flavor. Clam chowder shouldn't be sour. Some of the cheese was not sealed properly either, which again could be a health issue Get your cheese and extras at the Face Rock in Bandon and avoid this place at all costs. read more

Our food took a long time to come out and we were disappointed to see that the ice cream was Umpqua dairy and not even face rock! This was really a huge letdown. I usually go to Face Rock Creamery in Bandon but thought since I was visiting Coos Bay I could just get what I wanted there. That was a joke. They do not stock much so they were out of cheese curds and it was only an hour after they opened on a Thursday. The samples had to have been out from the day before because they were hard, definitely not fresh from that morning. They had a sign for their new Truffle Cheddar but no samples they told me so I asked well where would it be if they had it and the lady said, "it's right there where the sign is". I explained that there was not anything there and she proceeded to tell me to look. I did and so finally she walked around the counter and came over and looked and guess what, NO Truffle Cheddar. Her comment was, Well I guess I'll move the sign then. Really? What a poor way to do business. The owners would do themselves a favor to get a handle on this and the employees. They're not very good with people or their products. So definitely will not go there again. I'll drive to Bandon from now on. read more

Although their products are wonderful, their customer service is NOT. I placed an order and it was not delivered to the proper address. I realize this is not the fault of the Creamery, but their slow response, and lack of effort to make the purchase whole was underwhelming. We have eaten here 4 times now and it still feels so disorganized when placing an order. They never have the fryer on it seems no mater what time we visit so no fried foods ever are available. The sandwiches have 1 thin slice of meat on them and they just aren't very flavorful. Got a Philly steak recently and it had no peppers or onions on it. Their mac and cheese has hardly any noodles and the cheese sauce is thick and lumpy like paste. I wouldn't waste my time again. After 4 tries it still is not good read more

We were told to visit by my sister who said their ice cream was amazing. This is a creamery and they serve UMPQUA ice cream. She may have been thrown off since she lives somewhere where they can't just buy it in the store, but it's literally the same ice cream you can buy in a grocery store down the street... and this is a creamery... In August 2021 My daughter and I visited Face Rock Creamery and we were in love with it! The girls working there were so very sweet! One had claimed to be the manager and she was super personable. The next time we went in after I had moved here was November 2021. Still really nice employees focused on customer service. The past two times I've been, their customer service has really gone downhill! In particular two dark haired girls that work there. Masks are gone, which if these employees can't smile at their customers, maybe they should put their masks back on! It's almost like I'm putting these girls out, by being there.
