A course employee drove out to our location via golf cart and explained the dilema. We were then offered 4 comp rounds, including carts, if we could return the next day. We did. The course is simply stunning in its scenic views and we found no better prepared fairways and greens anywhere on our golf trip. This course moves to our top 5 list in Oregon. Fred B. However there is a parking lot at the end of the route. My wife and I liked this course not only for the golfing challenges of this 9 holer, but also the owner and staff's willingness to help a couple "Out-of-towners" navigate the area. We came back a second time because of the nice time we had the day earlier. Brad keeps the rustic and rural locale in fine shape. The fairways can be tight and the greens might be tough but fair, but overall a rewarding outing.

Played Eagle Point for the first time in five years. This was the nicest course in town until…read moreCentennial opened, but is now definitely the second option. They charge more, have unfriendly staff, the course maintenance is lacking, and even the layout appears a little gimmicky in spots. I used to play EP several times per year, and was always impressed with the consistently green fairways which were also well-drained, but this time we saw many brown spots and ran across a lot of soggy areas. The greens were in good shape, however, and the facilities and carts were fine. The guy in the pro shop acted like he was doing us a favor taking our $60 apiece, I guess since we weren't regulars. All in all, still a good course but not worth the extra dollars.

The course if poorly maintained and it is getting worse every year. The worst part is the "sand…read moretraps" and bunkers that have little to no sand in them and most have standing water in them even during hot weather. The course has over 60 sand traps and bunkers that are major design feature of the course and they are all in terrible condition. At the pro shop I was told that they are working on developing a plan to fix the sand traps. But it is way to late for a program that will take 5 or more years to complete. Complete reconstruction is needed now to bring this course up to a level of maintenance you would expect at a typical muni. We are dropping Eagle Point from our regular rotation until significant improvements are made.

The grease didn't have flavor like the shank so I'm not understanding the thinking behind serving my food soaked in oil.
