They then tried to make it impossible to approve the prescription saying they could give it to me for cheaper, which I refused. The vet who's is supposed to be a medical professional went as far as locating my caller ID and saying they were going to give me a terrible review online for my business and threaten me personally that I was going to have a lot of problems if I did leave them a bad review. Absolute madness. All I wanted was my heart worm prevention prescription to be approved and she went as far as saying she's not going to approve it and that if I kept requesting it she was going to call the police. I am still in shock and disbelief and not sure how a place is able to operate like this professionally. If things went like this for a simple prescription I cannot imagine what goes on here for more serious issues. Stay away from this place !! Update: I notified the vet I will be contacting the Florida Veterinarian Medical Association as well as my lawyer and she started cussing me out on the phone and yelling. Something is seriously wrong with this person. Update: The vet just sent me this message at midnight on a Friday after finding out about the review. This is actually starting to get scary. I ended up going in person to get the yearly prescription for which they charge me $10. I've never ever had a vet charge me for a prescription. I would not recommend this vet. They added additional charges that I had to declined because they were unnecessary. Pet owner beware. Find yourself another vet that is reasonable when it comes to your dog treatment costs. And last, but not least, they told me on a prior visit that my dog had fungus and gave me medication for her. I took her to a vet dermatologist and it turns out she did not. She just had allergies.

He carefully monitored Millie progress and adjusted her treatment plan as she responded. His bedside manner is amazing. He remains calm, explains his thought process clearly, answers every question with patience, and is always incredibly gentle with Millie. He often lovingly spoke about his own animals, and you can tell he genuinely cares about animals (which is important). Most importantly, he gave Millie her quality of life back. She is back to eating, gaining weight, popcorning, and doing all of the things a little guinea pig should do. I also want to recognize the veterinary technicians and staff. Evan was very patient and knowledgeable about the plan of care. Caro was very sweet and kept me informed throughout Millie's hospitalization. Kenneth always answers the phone with excellent phone etiquette, keeps me updated, and never hesitates to ask the doctor questions on my behalf. Iara was so kind to invite me to the back to visit Millie during her hospitalization, which meant more to me than she probably realizes.
