They offer special pet foods for purchase including some hygiene, toys, accessories you may want for your pet. The big down fall is that's it's in shopping center that gets pretty busy. Recently brought one of my dogs here because they were the ones that could get her in the fastest for an urgent but not emergency situation. I really liked the vet and staff here. They were very nice and they treated my dog with genuine care and compassion. I could tell that they are true animal lovers, which sadly is not the case at all vets. They took good care of my girl and she was feeling better almost instantly. Veterinary care is never cheap, but their prices are fair. They will handle your baby with care while treating them in front of you and prioritizing their needs accordingly. Unlike other clinics, they don't take your dog to the back. This animal clinic is great! I came here with my puppers recommended by a co worker and I liked it. Everyone was really nice and attentive. They had ALOT of regulars coming in so I took that as a good sign. The doctor and nurse were really great and attentive and following Covid protocols which I loved. My dog gets very nervous at the vet like any other dog and they helped and made sure he stayed calm and was happy. At one point he wagged his tail, I was shocked. They gave him his shots and advised him on some medicine he needed to help with parasites and I found that very helpful. Most vets just take the dog, do the check up and charge you. This place was also pretty affordable. I had paid a total of $230 for the annual check up, tag renewal, and some medicine and my dog is about to be 9 years old not neutered so he's considered an old dog if I'm not mistaken. Other places have given me a crazy amount of $150 on the check up ALONE. read more

My dogs mean the world to me. I have been taking them there since mid summer last year and the welcoming has been amazing. The two doctors are very caring and the results have been great. Dr. Serrano had such a confidence when I was in doubt if my female pup would deliver healthy puppies. Well, she had 6 beautiful, healthy puppies. Dr. Rodriguez is the best, I tell her she's my baby's angel. Thanks to her quick thinking, knowledge and experience my baby is alive and thriving. I have a 5 lbs yorkie, her name is Candy. She became lethargic, very weak to the point of not even being able to walk or even acknowledging me, her blood sugar went down to 28, long story short Dr. Rodriguez walk in looked at her lab work and immediately told me she wanted to do two more test (Addison's Desease and Cushing's Desease) kept her with fluids and meds. Sure enough results came back positive for Addison's Desease, she gave her the Zycortal Injection and put her on a daily prednisone dose. Same day my baby was walking, eating and being herself little by little. It's been seven months of her diagnosis and every month when I take her for her shot she's there to answer any questions and you can see the care in her face answering all my questions and the same if I call or just show up with any concerns or issues with my baby . Do to corona virus, they didn't let me in with my dog. I was there because his tooth had come off the day before, so they take him and come right out saying we can't see or do nothing because the dog is growling and will not let us, I say, it's because I need to be there, she says we can't let you in, I ask for the dog back but she said I have to charge you $20 consultation fee for doing absolutely nothing. This place is terrible. They cut my dogs toenails way too short. This caused her an infection because she began to gnaw at her foot from the discomfort. We ended up having to take her to another veterinarian because "E&L" refused to take responsibility. She is okay now except we are looking for a new vet for a dental cleaning. I have been bringing my 4 month old French Bulldog puppy (Jelly) to E&L ever since I got her. The love, attention, and service this vet gives is the best I have ever experienced. I have gone to two other vet clinics before with two other dogs I have had, and E&L surpasses them both. Lynet at front reception is absolutely awesome. She's extremely attentive and loving with my dog and every other animal that I have seen go in the clinic. Dr. Rodriguez has been very knowledgeable, caring, and attentive with my pup. At just 11 weeks my pup came down with an ear infection. With Dr. Rodriguez's help, she was cured in just 3 days. I look forward to bringing Jelly to E&L because I know she's in excellent hands. Absolutely the best veterinarian in the area! I've been taking both of my dogs, Rylee and Zoe, to Dr. Rodriguez for a few years now. We relocated to LA in 2013 and I actually scheduled a trip to South Florida last year around the dates one of my dogs was due for her annual checkup to make sure I could take her to Dr. Rodriguez. Dr. Rodriguez has come to through for us so many times I'm not sure where to start. For one, she saved my dog Zoe's life. Zoe is a rescue from Miami Dade Animal Services. When we adopted her we really didn't realize the handful of issues we would face with her. We knew she was underweight at the time but that was only the beginning. When we took her home we quickly realized something was off. We brought her into Dr. Rodriguez's office and we soon found out Zoe was deaf, had a massive ear infection that took away any hearing she may have had, had kidney issues, digestive issues, and was slowly losing eyesight. It was daunting at first but we were up for the challenge so we nursed her back to health under Dr. Rodriguez's instructions. A few months later Zoe became very ill. We rushed her to E&L and found out her kidneys were failing. We were terrified she was not going to make it. Zoe had to be hospitalized but with the care of Dr. Rodriguez she made a full recovery. She continues to have some minor but manageable digestive issues but overall she's a fat, happy, goofball. Our other dog Rylee really hasn't had any medical issues, she would only see Dr. Rodriguez for annual checkups. However, for a period of about 6 months when she was the only dog in our home she was going through major anxiety issues while we were gone at work and we really felt awful leaving her home alone all day so we took advantage of E&L's great day care program. Rylee would go to day care everyday, M-F, and she loved it. As soon as we drove up to their parking lot she would go nuts, she loved the entire staff. Dr. Rodriguez would even open up early to make sure I wasn't late for work in the morning. I definitely recommend their Day Care and Boarding services. Prices are great as well, I honestly doubt you'll be able to find better prices with this level of care. read more

This was my first visit and one of the best vet experiences I've ever had. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon for my dog who needed shots and a couple of hot spots looked at. I got in immediately with zero wait time. The doctors assistants were very friendly and knowledgable. The doctor was the same; very nice, caring for my dog, helpful and knowledgable. She didn't speak A LOT of English but, had assistants aid so that wasn't an issue at all. Besides that, I'm one of the few in Hialeah who doesn't speak Spanish so, it's probably rarely if ever an issue. All in all; it was the best vet experience I can remember ever having. read more

They are so so so so great!! I love this Vet so much. I've gone to a few different vets prior to this one but nothing compares. The space itself is so cleanly and the staff is so welcoming and caring of the animals. They treat the pets as if they were their own, treat them with such gentle hands and always take great care of them. They are also very fair on prices, and although some things may be a little pricier than other places, TRUST ME IT IS WORTH IT. Don't opt for a cheaper vet just to save a couple of bucks because the treatment is uncomparable. They also expanded and have a small store connected to the vet that they recently opened that is so convenient for food and other items you may need, including grooming! So I googled the closes veterinarian around since I was rushing because my dog got sick. I went to E & L and they are so warm as soon as you walk in. The location is small and very clean. The doctor is really nice and actually knows what she's talking about we found out he has dermatitis in his ears and she did a thorough cleaning. They are awesome! I walked in without an appointment. I went to the counter and told them what was wrong with my kitty. They immediately took care of her, no wait. Went into the room and they explained what could've caused her sickness and recommended alternatives and laid out costs which I appreciated. I was there no more than an hour. They are extremely caring towards animals and people. They even let me borrow a carrier since I brought my cat in without one. Really appreciated that. I started by bringing one of my dogs for a bad ear infection. it was short notice and they took me. they were so good and her ears are healed now. I later took my second dog for a spay and they did great also. I have brought a foster dog to her and she helped me with a discount. I brought my 3rd dog to her my foster failure also was treated awesome. Now we found a 10 yr old senior that had the beginning of pyometra bad mouth infection and the doctor operated her. she did so well that this 3.5 lb yorkie is up and about today like nothing. I came here because I moved & wanted to find a local vet. I decided to come based on the reviews. But NEVER AGAIN!!! The only thing that my 1 star is for, is cleanliness. I was able to get a same day walk in appointment ($30) for my dog, as he has a bad recurrent ear infection. First impression I get of the vet, Dr. Rodriguez is not a nice welcoming one. As I'm waiting in the room she walks in looks at me and then partially stands by the door and without a greeting, she begins talking to the guy in the waiting area..asking why he brought in his cat etc, etc. Then she walks in and stands by the assessment table with still no greeting or formal introduction! Super rude!!! Now to the horrible assessment. She never asked about my dog's medical history or if he had allergies, didn't check his teeth or even put a stethoscope on him!! I guess there's a separate charge for that! She did at least answer all of my questions.. even though speaking to me only in spanish (glad the tech was able to translate when needed. So unnecessary but I should've known better coming to this area. The pricing is NOT great as I've paid less for the same treatments at my other vet in coconut grove.. (which I will continue to make the drive for. ) Ear cleaning $15 and biohazard disposable fee of $5 ..I thought this would be included with my purchase of ear drops, but no!! Oh last thing, on my invoice they made a mistake and put the correct medication name that was given but with the wrong dosage! I immediately called them and they stated it had been entered wrong on the computer but the vet assured me that it was the proper dosage, as she was the one who administered it!! They were very professional, however I did come in with an appointment and they did not prioritize me or let me know if there was another customer in front of me. The Vet told me that my dog had an issue with a fungus which was the opposite of what my other vet told me. My primary vet said she had scabies and preformed a skin scrape to confirm, I got the impression that this vet only looked her over and determined what was wrong without any kind of test. After telling me what she thought was wrong, she recommended over $300 in skin care products that are supposed to help but I asked to be left alone with the invoice and found how inflated the prices are. Go in for an opinion on what the issue could be but be careful not to get fooled into thinking that their products are the only solution, there are cheaper opinions with amazon. The experience was horrible. I never receive the service of the doctor. They charge me with excessive bill about the service. I discussed the issue with the Doctor of the Clinic. Because my pet never received the care that they charge me. The doctor told that she will reduce the excessive charge, because there was no prove of the service done to my dogs. The person that saw my dog is not a veterinarian in USA. Even thought that I told her that they charge me without my consent instead to tell me the price before they saw my dog, but It was very excessive. The doctor agreed to reduce the charge for the service never done, however she report me to the state that I did not do the vaccination to my pets as a neglect person.
