I have only good things to say about all the staff and the Doctors who have attended to my Bouvier's. Recently I lost number 3 due to cancer. We informed them it was spelled wrong and they 'corrected' it as BISKIT... 2) We brought a sample in containing a worm and asked them to look at it. They called back and informed us that the sample tested negative. We were confused and asked for clarification on what exactly was tested? They said they didn't find anything. We reiterated that we brought in a sample containing a worm so how would there not be anything found when a worm was in the sample? They said they would go check again, and called back and said 'yepp there's a worm and 3 parasites'... 3) Called and they were confused because there were two dogs with the same first name and last name but spelled differently. We informed them that yes, that was your staff that incorrectly spelled her name TWICE so they ended up making two separate accounts which lead to confusion on their end anytime we called... 3) Fast forward about 6 months later, we received email reminders for her checkup. We called to make an appt and was told there was no record for a Biscuit in their system.... so how are we receiving emails? We have been there 4 times how are there no records? Receptionist got extremely rude and kept asking 'are you sure this is the right vet?' after we informed her for the 3rd time this was the correct vet, we have been there multiple times, and you are the one sending us emails. We told her either name it could be under and she continued to tell us there was no record but that someone with our dog's name did have the same last name, but a different first name... the spouses name was also the same name we had given them...the same phone numbers and the same emails....but you couldn't 'find it' and had 'no record?'.... 4) Told them we are done with this vet and their incompetence, and asked them to send over her records which we still have yet to receive.

My little one, Axl, has been sickly for awhile and after multiple visits to different vets I brought him here last week to try and get some answers. Very long and traumatic story short, Axl's gone to kitty heaven and I probably couldn't have made it through it without the love and support of Dr. Avery and Dr. Stickney, who was with us when we had to put him to sleep. I only got 9 months with Axl (19 years wouldn't have been enough with his sweet soul) and I know I will miss him deeply for a long time. Dr. Stickney let me cry like a baby and didn't rush us and made us feel like we were doing the right thing, no matter how bad it hurt. I swear, I believe good vets understand they are 60% for support of the pet and 40% for support of the pet parent, and Stonebridge gets this. I have found a new vet home in Rockwall (finally) and I'm so glad to have somewhere I trust to bring my furry loved ones.

During my last few visits, it was painful to watch how the senior, more established staff treated the newer, younger employees.Instead of guiding and supporting new team members, the older staff members are openly dismissive, cold, and borderline toxic to them. They act like highschool bullies. I have personally witnessed uncomfortable tension in the clinic, including senior staff speaking down to newer employees right in front of clients. It creates an incredibly unprofessional, stressful atmosphere not just for the staff, but for the pets and owners visiting. A clinic's culture trickles down into everything they do. If management doesn't address how the older staff treats newcomers, they are going to lose great talent and clients who don't want to support a toxic workplace. I hope leadership takes a hard look at their internal culture, and the front desk staff.

I've been using this clinic for their low-cost services for about two years, and until yesterday, I…read morehad always had a great experience. The appointments have always been quick, easy, and affordable, which is why I felt comfortable bringing my cat here when she developed a cough that I had never heard before. I'm a very protective pet owner, so I wanted to have her checked out just to be safe. Unfortunately, yesterday's experience left me extremely frustrated and with more questions than answers. When the veterinarian first came in, he immediately began handling my cat and feeling around her body rather roughly. She immediately started hissing at him. My cat is normally extremely friendly--she literally kisses me on the nose--so seeing her react that way was very concerning to me. I understand that animals can become nervous at the vet, but I feel that allowing her a moment to get comfortable and sniff the veterinarian before immediately handling her would have made a big difference. I was told that her cough was likely related to fragrances being used in my home. I explained that I have used these fragrances for around 2 1/2 years and that I have actually been using them less frequently recently rather than having them running constantly. I understand that fragrances can potentially affect pets, and I'm absolutely willing to make changes if necessary, but I felt like that conclusion was made without much investigation into other possible causes. They recommended bloodwork, and I agreed. I specifically asked if it could be done there because she was already nervous and I knew she didn't feel comfortable. She was taken to the back, and they attempted to restrain her with a muzzle and hold her legs while preparing to draw blood. While they were attempting to take her blood, they eventually brought her back to me. She had alcohol all over her body, and I was told that she had started drooling and was having a hard time breathing. They then told me they stopped because they were concerned about injuring her neck or potentially breaking her neck. I was honestly shocked and extremely uncomfortable hearing all of this. I was then told that she would need to be sedated in order to have bloodwork done. What confused me even more is that she has had bloodwork done previously without being sedated, so I was left wondering why sedation was suddenly necessary now. They also recommended an X-ray, but I left feeling like my original concern hadn't really been resolved. I spent around $90 and walked away with essentially the same concern I came in with, except now I was even more worried because of how the visit was handled. I want to be clear that I understand veterinary care can be difficult, especially when an animal is scared. I'm not upset that my cat was nervous or that they had difficulty getting blood. My frustration is with how the situation was handled and the lack of clear communication throughout the process. I also wish they had taken more time to build trust with my cat before immediately grabbing and restraining her. I have recommended this clinic in the past because of my previous positive experiences and the affordability of their services. That's why yesterday was especially disappointing. I left feeling like I didn't have a clear explanation for what was happening with my cat, and I didn't feel completely comfortable with how the situation was handled. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously because I do appreciate having access to affordable veterinary care. I just want to feel confident that my pets are being handled gently, that concerns are being thoroughly investigated, and that I'm being given clear and transparent explanations about their care.

There's a new vet and several new techs, and from the start, everything felt rushed and disorganized. I called ahead and explained that each dog, one male and one female had different ages, names, and needs. Despite that, their care was still mixed up once we arrived, and I had to correct staff multiple times. What concerned me most was the lack of communication and thoroughness. My dog was quickly taken to another room, and the vet returned already discussing allergy treatment and a shot before ever really speaking with me about her symptoms, history, diet changes, or my concerns. I had to stop and ask questions myself because no one initially asked me anything detailed about what had been going on over the past several months. When I questioned whether allergies had truly been confirmed or if other causes had been ruled out, I felt met with impatience and a sense of urgency to simply move forward with treatment. I understand vets are busy, but I never agreed to immediately start injections without a more thorough discussion or evaluation first. As a pet owner, it left me feeling unheard and honestly more like another dollar to be made rather than someone whose concerns genuinely mattered. After today, I no longer feel confident in this practice and will be looking for a new vet who prioritizes attentive communication, compassion, and thorough care for both pets and their owners.
