5:40pm, closed when they're supposed to be open.

UPDATE: IM LOSING MY MIND WITH THIS PLACE!!! they called me at noon today saying i can come pick up my puppy's medicine today. they confirmed on the phone that they don't close until 6!!!! i am here at 4:30 to come pick it up- THEY'RE CLOSED EARLY AGAIN!!! stop telling me to come pick up the fucking medicine and having me drive out of the way to come get it and then closing early as shit!!!! this has been 3 times now!!!!! my dog is now over a week late on her medicine because you don't stay open when you're supposed to!!!! ORIGINAL POST: i have been really trying to give this location a chance, but their customer service is not it. i've met with some really awesome vets here, and the nurses that have seen my puppy have been great. but the ladies at the front desk... oof. not a fan. every time i come here they're not nice and come across judgmental. but today was the final straw for me. i needed to come pick up my puppy's flea medicine, i called over an hour in advance and let them know i was going to come pick it up. i asked them what time they closed, they said 6pm. i said "okay! i'll be there before you close." i got there at 5:40pm, and they're closed early?! wtf?? they knew i was coming, i told them i was coming, and also their hours are posted to be open until 6. what the hell! i'm a working woman otherwise i would've came in earlier. and i don't have any time in the next few days to get it, so i guess my puppy is going to be late on her flea medicine, because they weren't open when they said they would be.

Thanks for keeping my little tank happy & healthy.

I had previously been to a banfield that was located inside of a petsmart and I couldn't stand any of their doctors or staff - they were all extremely rude and suggested asinine things to help relieve my dogs allergies. I recently moved from Orange County and I needed to get my dog in for a quick checkup. I didn't have much time to look around but did notice this facility while driving around. I'm glad I gave this standalone banfield a chance. I was worried I'd run into the same attitude I'd experienced in OC but Dr. Post & Dr. Cooper here are wonderful. They've been helpful and welcoming every time I've brought my old guy in and are good about explaining things. They have an online scheduling system which works out well for me since I don't have time at work to call them to schedule something.

I work from home so as I was wrapping up for the night I heard in the next room breathing o open up yelp and saw this vet was less that a mile from my new home, I saw they were still open so I call and was able to get her in for that Saturday!!! Score!! I had read some of the reviews so I was like oh no after I made the appointment but I went anyways. My baby was so scared and the vet tech was so sweet and loving to they dr came in and spent a good 30 min talking to me about things to look for and I said let test her at her next appointment in 4 months this way we have a marker of her now and in 4 months to make sure she doesn't have any of the markers that would a genetic defect or anything we need to worry about. I was last appointment so they were ready to go and I didn't feel rush or not welcome. I mean the lady that checked me out reminded me of my mom just no nonsense straight to point type of person but not unpleasant. I am glad I kept my appointment and I feel better know she is just a heavy breathing kitty I think most people who had negative comments either had no life experiences or they are the problem idk I definitely will go back and recommend

Apparently, my dog was having bladder issues and the doctor wanted to do a test for cushions disease because that's what she believed it was after making an appointment online. She said I made the wrong one and she charged me $135 more because I checked the wrong box which I think is not Good business practice being a long-term customer first of all. Needless to say, I got a second opinion, and I did have to put my dog to sleep because the other doctor asked why x-rays were never taken. Apparently he had bladder stones and one lodged in his urethra , his liver was enlarged and something was going on with his kidneys and I felt at that age it wasn't appropriate to put him through all the pain and suffering of surgery!!!. I don't recommend this animal hospital as maybe if they would've caught it sooner I wouldn't have had to make this decision. It breaks my heart to think that waiting and wrong diagnosis was a problem that caused my dogs short life. The staff in Front was quite rude and they took me as a walk in so I had to wait several hours to have my dog seen who was not feeling well. Do your due diligence get a second opinion if you are not happy with the first one. I am not saying this because I am angry or in pain with the grief of losing my best friend. I just think it's important to get second opinions if you are not sure that you are happy with your doctors diagnose thank you.

Her regular vet wasn't able to see her, and our local ER had a seven hour wait time. I was panicked and started frantically Googling nearby veterinarians. This hospital had amazing reviews, so I decided to take a chance and call. From the moment I explained the situation, they didn't hesitate, they told me to bring her in right away. When we arrived, the entire staff was warm, compassionate, and incredibly welcoming. You could feel that they genuinely care about both pets and their owners. In the middle of a stressful situation, that kind of kindness makes all the difference. Dr. Gill was absolutely wonderful. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to clearly explain everything that was happening and what our options were. His bedside manner is exceptional, calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed, and he made sure all of my questions were answered. I truly love my current vet, which says a lot, but after this experience, I will be switching to VRVH. I don't mind the 40 minute drive one bit for this level of care. It is worth every single mile. If you're ever in a stressful situation with your pet and need a team you can trust, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The care and overall experience were generally average--not exceptionally bad, but not particularly good compared to other veterinary practices I have used. One of the reasons I initially chose this office was because they offer a military discount. Unfortunately, my experience completely changed when I requested a copy of my dog's medical records. I first requested my dog's complete medical records on April 6, 2026, via email. After receiving no records, I sent multiple follow-up emails and made several phone calls over the next two months. The only response I received was on April 25, 2026, when I was told: "Dr. Gill is aware and is finalizing the notes to send. Once they are signed off and approved to send, we will send them ASAP." Despite that assurance, the records were never provided. Timeline of my requests: * 4/6/26 - Initial records request submitted via email * 4/15/26 - Follow-up email sent * 4/25/26 - Office responded stating records would be sent ASAP after doctor approval * 4/29/26 - Additional follow-up email sent * 5/27/26 - Called office; information taken and promised a callback * 5/28/26 - Follow-up email sent * 6/1/26 - Called office again; information taken and promised a callback * 6/9/26 - Called office again and was told the doctor had to release the records More than two months after my original request, I still did not have my dog's records. I ultimately had to drive to the office in person and explain that I would wait there until the records were released. Looking back, I realized this was not an isolated issue. I often had to follow up multiple times to obtain records after routine visits as well. For pet owners with pet insurance, specialists, emergency visits, or anyone who simply needs access to their pet's medical records in a timely manner, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Access to medical records is a basic expectation, and after more than two months of unanswered requests, emails, and phone calls, I completely lost confidence in this practice's administrative processes. As a result of this experience, I will be filing a complaint with the state veterinary licensing board regarding the failure to provide records in a timely manner. I hope this review encourages the practice to improve its communication and records-release process so other pet owners do not have to go through the same experience.

This gave me peace of mind and made every penny worth it. It might sound silly, but my bunnies are my entire world and I'm sure most people consider their pet to be a part of the family (mine 100% are). 3 Strikes your out!…read more SCAM SCAM SCAM I first brought my pup to this vet November of last year. We just moved to the area and my pup was experiencing a bad ear infection. They charged me more than $1,200 to clean and run tests. During the cleaning the vet was informing me of medication that would help with my pup's seasonal allergies which was around $500 a month. I am not exaggerating at all. They pushed it until I told them that my wife was gonna give birth any day now & I didn't want to commit it so soon. Two weeks later we came back to the vet for a check- up and they insisted that my pup start his $500 a month medication. I declined it at the time and wanted to do my own research before agreeing to the medication. Another week passed and a more budget friendly medication was mentioned. We agreed and went to the vet to pick up a monthly dosage. When my wife arrived to the front desk to pick up the medication the staff was a little confused on which medication was ordered. When my wife mentioned the name of the medication, the staff automatically said that " your husband denied it initially because you couldn't afford it." Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. We were upset at comment but decided to brush off and continue to go to the vet since we were new to the area. I wonder why they never mentioned this from the start and why the expensive medication was the only option at first? We go to the vet once a month to pick up our pups medication and would call 3-4 days ahead before he runs out for a refill. Earlier this week I called the vet to ask for a refill and mentioned that my pup had 3 days left of medication. They said they would speak to the vet for approval for the refill. They called me back and mentioned that my pup has not had a bi-annual exam and unfortunately they cannot refill his prescription without one. They did not have any appointment left for the week and the next available appointment would be two saturdays from now. Note, I called on a Monday.. The staff kept mentioning that my pups bi-annual exam was overdue a couple months now.. ok, why am I only knowing this now when I come monthly to pick up his medication? Why can't I get a refill until his next appointment? So this tells me that you would rather have my pups medication run out just so you make sure I schedule an exam for a little extra $$? Enough is enough. I am highly disappointed and would not consider this vet to anyone. The experience I had shows that they care more about the money than the health of your pups. I will not be bringing my pup here anymore and will take my business elsewhere. Thanks for showing your true colors. Don't be fooled by the signs and pictures. They only want you for your $$.

Dr. Owens was able to do a much less invasive surgery than anticipated with his previous emergency medical experience. Every staff member I met with or spoke with over the 2 days Munster was there was extremely professional yet very friendly and able to explain things in a way that was detailed but easy to understand. I was able to pick Munster up on Monday afternoon and bring him back home - where he is currently doing well. During an already traumatic and emotional situation, we trusted this clinic to provide the best possible care and ended up paying upwards towards $5,000 for treatment. Unfortunately, the suturing was done very poorly, and we were concerned about how his wounds were healing. We decided to seek a second opinion elsewhere, and the other veterinarian confirmed our concerns and provided proper treatment. Since then, Romeo has healed well. No pet owner expects perfection, especially in an emergency, but we do expect competent care that matches the cost of treatment. Spending thousands of dollars only to have to seek corrective care elsewhere was heartbreaking and frustrating. I would strongly encourage others to ask questions and consider getting a second opinion if something doesn't seem right.
