Honestly if I could give a hundred stars I would. So, yes it's costly. However, it's quality care. I took my extremely sick elderly dog in, thinking it would be an appointment for euthanasia. However we did the vet visit first, and ran more tests than I ever would have thought to or honestly wanted to. That being said, because they did run the tests, they discovered my dog had aspiration pneumonia. Treatable. Throughout the visit, the front staff was lovely and kind, techs were helpful, and the Dr was very friendly and clearly discussed treatment options. I had a cost list of low end and high end, and he was a patient in their overnight hospital. I was told I would be called the next day between 9am and 10, and at 915 I was called by the Dr. they said he was doing well, and there wasn't anything I couldn't do at home that they'd be doing, and said I can pick him up. When I returned, I got my pup AND a refund because it was less than expected. Highly recommend, but I hope you'll never need to use them

A Heartfelt Thank You to Epic Vets Hospital On November 5, 2025, our world shifted. It became one of the hardest nights we've had to live through, a night that now sits beside the deepest losses our family has known. We were eating dinner when our sweet 11 year old Maddie suddenly went into what looked like a seizure or a stroke. Her little body went stiff, her eyes began bouncing, her tongue and face tightened, and she lost control of her bladder. In that moment, fear took over. We rushed her to the emergency vet praying for a miracle. For about twenty minutes she seemed to be doing better and we had hope. But once she was taken to the back, everything changed. Your team quietly entered the room and asked us to step into a private space. That's when we heard the words no pet parent ever wants to hear: "Maddie didn't make it." Our hearts broke in ways we never could have prepared for. Maddie wasn't just a dog she was our first and only family dog, our third child, the one who taught our kids about unconditional love. She had been with us since she was a tiny puppy and lived every chapter of our lives right beside us. Losing her feels like losing a piece of our home. Through all of this heartbreak, your compassion mattered more than you may ever know. The kindness, tenderness, and respect you showed Maddie and us during the most terrifying and painful moments of our lives will stay with our family forever. You didn't treat her like "just another case." You treated her like a beloved soul. And you treated us like grieving parents, not clients. From the gentle way you spoke to us, to the care you gave Maddie in her final moments, to the softness in your voices when delivering the news. Thank you for trying. Thank you for acting quickly. Thank you for treating Maddie with dignity. Thank you for treating us with patience and compassion. Thank you for sitting with us in our grief, even for a moment. We are devastated and our home feels impossibly quiet now. The absence of her little face, her joy, her warmth is a hole we don't know how to fill. But knowing she was in caring hands brings us a small measure of peace. We wanted to take a moment to offer our deepest gratitude to the team at Epic Veterinary Hospital for your support during the most devastating night of our lives. Thank you for helping us through the hardest goodbye we've ever had to say. With heartfelt appreciation, The Weaver Family

The stinger that incompetent saaiman vet called "blurry"

Update: We're now at our regular vet in Vista because our poor baby's eyes and mouth started swelling up. I'm absolutely furious that this was misdiagnosed -- it's heartbreaking that we had to go through this after being brushed off earlier. And guess what, it was an allergic reaction to the bee sting. You'd think that vet would leave his ego at home and listen to the pet parents. We took our dog to Epic Vet after he was stung by a bee and began vomiting -- which our regular vet recommended us to go to the nearest ER. I even showed Dr. Saiman a photo of the stinger I removed, but he brushed it off, saying the picture was "blurry" and repeatedly claiming, "we don't know what caused it." He kept referring to the sting as a "superficial abrasion," which made me feel like he wasn't listening or taking the situation seriously at all. He spent like 2 minutes tops with us in the room. His attitude came across as arrogant and dismissive, like he thought he was above explaining things to concerned pet owners. Instead of compassion or clear communication, we got indifference. He recommended Cerenia and wipes, but the whole visit felt rushed and condescending. What makes this even more disappointing is that this is the second bad vet experience we've had since moving to Temecula -- and I had hoped Epic Vet would finally be different. Unfortunately, it wasn't. For a place called Epic Vet, the experience was anything but. If you want a vet who genuinely listens, takes your concerns seriously, and treats your pet with care -- look elsewhere.

Amazing customer service!!!!…read more Went into this location today because the location I normally go to is closed on Sundays. (My husband and I just adopted a dog from a shelter and she was showing symptoms that were worrisome). Josh, who saw our dog Lu Lu today, was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything so thoroughly. I did not feel rushed, and was very appreciative of this (especially since we just had a dog pass away). He had amazing bedside manner, thank you Josh!!! All the women at the front desk who assisted me as well today were so sweet and had wonderful customer service! You can tell VCA really cares about animals and helping families with their beloved fur babies! Thank you VCA! (Also love that this location is open 24 hours-incase of an emergency)

He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, reviewed all recommendations carefully, and gave honest expectations. We never felt rushed into our decisions. The staff was also very attentive and friendly at each visit in person. However, in more recent visits, communication has become very difficult. It has been challenging to get responses by phone or message, even for follow-up questions they themselves requested. This is especially frustrating given the level of care and cost involved in moving toward surgery. At this point, I would honestly consider going through my primary care instead, since it would be more affordable and communication has been more reliable for follow-ups.

Looking for a veterinarian in the area, I read reviews on many in Temecula and Murrieta. Over two…read moreweeks, I then dropped in, in person, to 5 of them. Front area staff, the condition of the clinic and the veterinarians at any given facility ALL play into which one to go with for me. It's a stressful task finding/researching vet offices for your animals when new to an area. I've had a number of dogs and then (foster fail) rescue dogs over the years. So, I'm well versed on a variety of canine health issues from diabetes to Addison's to tick born illnesses to thyroid issues etc. Plus, I'm long time good friends with veterinarians out of area. So, I hear of so many of their cases/treatments. Vineyard Veterinary was my last stop in the search. I'd then compare the 5 I went into in person over a weekend. Well, that was the plan. On entering Vineyard Veterinary Hospital, it was immaculate, had a good decor vibe to the waiting room. And, Jim at the front desk had great energy, answered all my questions. Other staff in the mix nearby seemed in good spirits too. Enough so that I decided on the spot to make an appointment and give them a try with one of my dogs. Cut to the appointment: Tech Erica made me feel at ease immediately as she asked questions, took details down. Minutes later, the vet entered. Dr. O is...OHHH MAZING! She'd already read charts sent over from the out of area vet, knew of medication dosages already, without me having to tell her. When it was time for blood work (I'd mentioned this dog has trouble getting traction on some flooring due to "uniquely" shaped legs) Jim was right there to airlift this Samoyed to the back! And, an airlift ride for Bo Bo on the way back too! The next day follow up call with Dr. O about the bloodwork results...she explains it all to easily understand. You can tell she cares. Very glad to have found the team at Vineyard Veterinary.

I would never return to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital even if the visit were free…read more My 3-year-old Shiba Inu went in only for a blood test. He was nervous and crying a little, but he has always been somewhat anxious during vet visits. We have been bringing him there for the last 3 years and he never had serious issues afterward. This time, the vet was unable to take the blood sample and brought him back to us. After the visit, my dog suddenly developed severe diarrhea -- 5 times during the day and 3 more times during the night. He also lost his appetite for two days and became lethargic. Before this visit, he was a healthy dog with a normal appetite and no history of diarrhea problems. The next day I asked the clinic if they had used any calming spray, medication, or sedation because his behavior and physical condition changed so dramatically afterward. They completely denied using anything. What upset me even more was the response from the female vet, who said: "Don't blame me, blame your dog, he has anxiety." That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of showing concern and saying something like, "Please bring him back so we can check why he feels sick," I felt like they simply brushed the situation aside. I understand some dogs get nervous at the vet, but something clearly changed after this visit, and I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and with zero confidence in returning there again.

Every time I have come in I have seen familiar faces and new faces. Every time I meet someone new they're kind. The familiar faces are always so joyful to see my guy. It warms up my heart and my pups too! I have consistently seen Dr. Stark and she is amazing. I have more recently seen Dr. Padilla for an urgent allergic reaction. I called ahead of time and told them about the rapid progression of my pups allergic reaction. They were able to see him right away. They are familiar with him and were happy to take care of him and did so urgently. Dr. Padilla came out and explained her diagnosis and differentials. She was mindful to not ignore the differentials. She mentioned red flags to be aware of and precautions moving forward. She let me know the potential side effects of his cortisone and anti histamine medications, what to do if it worsens, and if it stays the same. She was thorough and informative. Honestly, I wanted to hug her! I was so worried. I was also very thankful that I brought my puppy in closer to closing time and they did not rush the treatment at all. They even mentioned keeping him an hour to monitor and said I could run an errand and come back. They just want to make sure the meds work accordingly as injections should have a much more rapid onset. Thank you to everyone at this location. I've been going to Banfield for years across many different states with my last doggy. So without a question I stayed with Banfield with my new puppy. You guys are awesome!
