These are my two Labs, Brother and Sister (Ruby and Jackson), 3 and 4 years old. They look a little stressed at the moment, always are after grooming (home or salon). They'd rather be swimming in the ocean or lake lol. I want to give a 5 star shout out to Temecula Petco grooming. They are Amazing! From the cost, to the care, to the groom, simply amazing!!! Jackson has a slight issue with other dogs, and we are working with him, but they listened to me, and worked with me about the issue. Thank you Every time I pick them up, they are beautiful and the job is done correctly. I think 1 time, they couldn't do Ruby's nails because she wouldn't let them. Thank you Petco grooming, you're amazing! Kimberly A. Ruby and Jackson

Well, this is a darn fun place to visit with my little doggie. I'm always looking for places we can go to have fun together. This store supplies Just Food For Dogs. It's one of many places but it's good to know they do, as that's our little guys diet. There's a huge amount of food choices though, if I ever decide to switch. On top of food selections for pets of all kinds, they carry leashes and collars. I'm still looking for a particular kind of halter though, of which cannot be found there. Kind of a bummer. While I'm not fond of seeing small birds and other sweet pets in cages, people want them. so, I guess it makes sense to offer them. I do love looking at the, birds, lizards, snakes. hamsters, etc. I can't lie. Oh! And they have fish! Fish and tanks for them. More fun to look at. I'm a sucker for dog and cat toys. Naturally, our little dog is too. If we go there, he of course comes home with at least one and maybe a chew as well. Because I get toys for him, I naturally pick out one for our two cats! Oh boy... what can you do? This place is clean and the cashiers are friendly. So why not 5 stars, instead of 4? Well, I'm not sure this is fair either and I might wind up changing it, but my dog, when he was a puppy, caught kennel cough there. He hadn't been anywhere else to get it. His vet told me that's a real problem with PetCo and PetSmart, because people like to take their dogs there. Sooo... what might PetCo do about that? Boy, I don't know. Wipe down their shopping carts? Like I said, in fairness, I might need to change my review to 5 stars. Thinking it over. Lastly, I LOVE that they offer cat adoptions. Most especially of older cats. Lastly, lastly... this review does not include grooming. I've never used one of their groomers, so cannot speak to that. Glancing at some of the reviews on that though, it doesn't sound too good.

The groomers name is Isabel. She almost didn't cut anything on his body (She just cut the muzzle and the eye area. Around his eyes looks red, his nails is cut too short and it's bleeding.) His private part is burning and it's red. It's irritated. (She might've used a clipper.) His middle muzzle isn't cut evenly and now the middle muzzle area has no hair!! I can see his skin. I gave her sample pictures so she knows how I like it done with my dog. She didn't seem to look at the sample pictures!! She did an incomplete cut and made him ugly looking. I wish before destroying my dogs hair, she would tell us she can't cut !! In my opinion, she is not a professional (groomer) she doesn't know how to cut a dog's hair!! If my dog doesn't like clipper sounds why didn't she try to cut with scissors like other groomer do? She just cut a little on the body hair and almost looks the same and she charged FULL price? This hair cut I could have done my self!! He was cute before and now he has an ugly hair cut... Even my family said shocking to see my dog because his body exactly the same before hair cut and muzzle and bangs too short made ugly!! This hair cut Not worth it!! Also I would never comeback for my dog's hair cut bc just destroyed my dogs look. *I don't recommend Isabel. I want money back for this ugly incomplete hair cut!! My poor dog!!! I hope manager reads this!! If you hire a groomer you need make sure they can cut completely. Do not get employees that don't have that much experience because an unhappy customer like this will result with wasted money!!!! **I had originally had an appointment Saturday but she cancelled without notifying me then i found out at the store about cancellation, horrible!! Then on the new appointment day I was told it would take 2 to 3 hours!! I waited 2 and a half hours just so that I can see the progress she just got started and spent maybe only 30min!! Not worth the wait!!

Teddy, my chocolate lab gets his coat shaved to avoid extreme shedding and Temecula Petco always does great work. He is happy fresh pup

Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

I was nervous and didn't know what to do, so I reached out to Epic Dog Academy. They scheduled a same-day consultation, which immediately made me feel supported. Sookie started the Honor Roll Program the following week. Throughout her training, her trainer Erin kept me consistently updated on Sookie's progress. Toward the end of the two weeks, Erin recommended keeping Sookie a little longer because she needed some extra help -- and I truly appreciated that honesty and care. If Epic Dog Academy didn't genuinely care, they could have easily sent her home, especially with the holidays coming up, but instead they did what was best for Sookie. I picked Sookie up about a week ago and, to be honest, I was nervous about bringing her home. Erin scheduled our in-home training session just three days after pickup, and even checked in with us after Sookie's first day home to see how we were doing. While Sookie had a solid grasp of her commands, we struggled with crate training at first. During our in-home session, Erin helped us work through those issues, and since then, crating has been easy and stress-free. Epic Dog Academy -- and especially Erin -- did an amazing job with Sookie. They've given her confidence, and she no longer panics when I leave. The attentiveness, support, and care they've shown toward both Sookie and me has meant so much. We truly couldn't have done this without them. I'm so grateful for Epic Dog Academy and look forward to continuing our journey with them. I know Sookie will only continue to improve and live her best life.

He weighs about 90lbs and struggles with reactivity (excitement and pulling when he sees other dogs/people) and he did not consistently obey commands (especially "heel"). Elaine was patient, consistent, and very communicative. She took the time to ask us what issues we wanted to focus on, and then was able to come up with a highly effective training on the spot. She was able to get him to follow commands that even surprised us (including getting him to "place" onto a picnic table). And by the end of the session, we walked him around and had zero issues with pulling or reactivity, even when there were dogs and kids nearby. It was impressive to see so much progress in such a short time. Throughout the process, she explained everything she was doing, including the specific steps AND the purpose. She answered ALL of my questions with thoughtful and kind responses. And throughout the whole experience, she was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend her.

Before training, Forrest was a very playful and excitable pup who struggled with focus and discipline. He was easily distracted, didn't consistently follow commands, and had trouble behaving appropriately around children and other dogs. After spending two weeks with Elaine, our amazing trainer, Forrest came home a completely transformed dog! He's now obedient, focused, and confident -- even in high-distraction environments like parks and public places. He mastered six core commands and continues to respond beautifully to them at home. Elaine truly is a "dog whisperer." She's local (Murrieta), which made drop-off and pickup super convenient, and she went above and beyond to keep us updated. We received daily videos and photos showing Forrest's progress -- we looked forward to them every day and loved watching his transformation in real time. We are so impressed with Elaine's skill, patience, and dedication. Forrest is still the same silly, lovable dog we adore, but now he's also well-mannered, obedient, and an absolute joy to be around. He was very generous with his time and showed me how my lack of leadership was contributing to my dog's reactive behavior. I only apply tension to the leash when I want to bring her back to my side. We avoid situations that might trigger her to become reactive.
