The patties are hearty and the bread is sturdy; able to neatly hold together the large patties, cheese, toppings, and sauce. Definitely a substantial burger. I recommend ordering ahead as the burgers are made to order. The customer service is also good. I like that they offer a good quality fries. The owners also put effort into the design of the truck which adds to the feel that you're getting a high-quality burger and customer experience. I'm glad they now have a brick and mortar. If you can't get out to Tyson's Galleria, the food truck is an excellent alternative.

I really wish Flavor Hive would have additional toppings - just cucumber tomato onion cilantro etc are quite minimal. Would be awesome if they could add something like beet salad or beans! Only one order (check #88) was provided at pickup. The second order (check #87) was never given to us, despite being paid for. When I called the phone number listed on both the paid receipt and from Google, I did not reach the restaurant. Instead, the call was answered by a male individual phone comes up from Vienna and did not appear to be affiliated with the restaurant staff on-site. This alone is unacceptable. The individual who answered was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Multiple witnesses overheard the conversation, which has been documented. We were not initially seeking a refund -- only verification of the missing order and whether it could still be picked up. There was zero effort to assist, no accountability, and no urgency to resolve the issue. This level of disorganization and lack of customer service is unacceptable for any restaurant. If Flavor Hive continues to operate this way -- including routing customer calls to unprofessional third parties -- it will absolutely damage the business and its reputation.

I will probably get it again, but call and ask them to make it spicy and add lime juice or limes on the side. The Gorditas were not as good. The shells were thin and not crisp. They were rather small. And one was busted open. The meat was just ok. The asada was slightly better than the chorizo and Cueritos. They did come with limes, cucumber, and radish slices. I will probably not get them again. All that said it was affordable and I would like to try more of their menus items (as well as a spicy birria ramen with lime) Nothing to say as far as ambiance (it's a food truck it got delivery from) food was prepared fast.
