The not so good; this place is really filthy. Bales of dust & hair are everywhere underneath dumbell racks, around the bases of machines and on the bottom of lockers. Kind of gross. Each day around 3 the sun hits the nearby bank skylights and sends a retina-searing, lincoln arc welder-like white light into the space. Really difficult to see with the blinding solar glare - but what you do see is every spec of dust/hair/detrius on the floor, on machines, etc.. I realize he light thing is not their fault but maybe get some glare screens for the windows? Lastly, it's cramped - tons of machines but not a lot of space around them to work out comfortably, you are really on top of each other. The gym has great potential though & I hope that they improve!

My wife and I have been working with Miles, one of their trainers, twice a week for the past year and have thoroughly enjoyed our experience and noticed quick and sustained results. As the gym is boutique, they are able to create personalized training regimens and nutrition guides for people of all shapes/sizes and levels of experience. Miles varies up the circuits to create fun, albeit tough exercises to push us to new goals. During the week, there are evening men's and women's evening classes, which have become quite popular. In the summer, the gym comes together as a group to create a killer Muddy Mainer team and participates in other rec sports. Overall, I would highly recommend Hybrid for anyone wanting expert but approachable gym instruction.
