Authentic Vietnamese food! I normally take the long drive to Dorchester for my banh mi, but this will be my go to spot. For the banh mi, I had the dac biet, pate cha lua, and xiu mai. Excellent flavor on all of them as well as portion size. I was pleasantly surprised to see they sell Che as well, and I can definitely say it tastes great and is authentic. I didn't try the bubble tea. There is plenty of parking space, which can be hard to find at banh mi places around here and in Dorchester. I had been craaaving a good banh mi, and this place knocked it out of the park. It was fresh and perfectly proportioned (i.e., not too many toppings, not too much meat, not overwhelmed by bread). And, actually, the bread was maybe my favorite part - flaky outside, soft on the inside. Plus I love, love, love the fresh cilantro and pickled veggies. Then the BBQ pork and pate spread throughout? *chef's kiss* The bubble tea was truthfully not as memorable as the banh mi (or even their summer roll appetizers -- again, perfectly wrapped, proportioned, and a wonderfully fishy sweet sauce to accompany it! to boot), but it was fine because where we are, we barely have any places to *get* bubble tea, so that was fine. Their bánh mì almost made me cry from happiness. I got the banh mì đặc biệt and it was one of the best I've ever had - and I was born in Vietnam and raised in Little Saigon, California. The pâté was fresh, the pickled veggies were on point, the cold cuts were good quality and in abundance, the bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside...they even had viet-style mayo on it! Amazing. Everything about the Bhan Mis are done right, the bread has a thin crunchy crust with a soft fluffy inside perfect for a Bham Mi, vegetables are perfectly seasoned and are fresh. I have yet to have to have a meat choice that I didn't like and I believe they're all made in house. Bubbles teas are also quite good and they don't skimp on the actual tea by giving you just ice. My personal favorite is the brown sugar bubble tea.
