I went here like 5 times and always had the number 1 specials banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. They were good and the place is clean and spacious. We will come back again next week...

4 stars for a solid choice if you're craving a banh mi sandwich! We visited after paddling on the water. You can eat in too but we just ordered it to go. I was craving the traditional BBQ pork sandwich, it's the grilled pork one on the menu for $6. There are other sandwich options, and snacks to choose from. They made our order fresh and it came out within minutes. Perfect for a grab and go lunch! The sandwich itself was nice, the pork was flavored well with all the traditional toppings, cucumber, jalapeno, carrots, cilantro and mayo. I liked the crispy bread but keep that in mind if you're eating in the car. It made such a mess but it was worth it and totally satisfied my craving. I do wish the sandwich was a little bigger but for the price it's a pretty good deal!

I've always gone with the adage if a restaurant has one thing on their menu, it is usually good. Well, this place does Banh Mi and that is it. And they do them right. Fresh ingredients, friendly service and unbelievable prices are what is on the menu here. $6 for a Bahn Mi is just crazy. Stop into this place and enjoy a great sandwich.

Ordered a #9 the bread was delicious and soft. Plenty of meat in the sandwich. The pickled carrots and radish aren't super pickled of how I like it but still a very good bahn mi.

The crispy flakiest freshest and most delicious banh mi in the area!!! Doesn't get any better than this.

We dropped in for the first time and got fantastic Vietnamese / French Banh Mi sandwiches. Only $6 each and freshly made right in front of us, by a friendly and helpful lady. The restaurant itself is spotless and the bathroom is also perfectly clean and cool. The strip mall it's in is pretty grungy to be nice and the parking lot has its share of potholes. But, you'd never know based on the interior! Ignore the outside appearance and come on by! We ordered a #1 with pate, pork belly and pork roll and all the pickled veggies for my wonderful wife. I got a #2 with grilled pork and all the pickled veggies for myself! The veggies include crunchy carrots, cucumber, cilantro, daikon radish and jalapeño! The sandwiches come on fresh and crusty French bread. They are... in a word... delicious. In another word or three, they are fresh, tasty, crunchy and for a fourth word, affordable! We look forward to returning! Life is good with delicious Bahn Mi!

In case you still don't know, Pinellas Park is blessed with many wonderful Vietnamese businesses. Many locals ask me who has my favorite Banh Mi in all if Tampa Bay... it is from here. This Thit Nuong Banh Mi is my favorite. Yes, even better than those swarmed shops in Tampa that the trendy bloggers gawk over. Do you really trust someone's opinion on food that survives on "hosted" meals of avocado toast and iced lattes? Interesting... Why do I like their sandwiches so much? Because of the bold flavors and garlicky spreads used. I'm a sucker for garlic, and thankfully also avoiding crowds and dining on a budget. So you will find me here.

Had such a great experience at Bahn Mi Saigon ! Their bahn mi is the best I have tried so far in Florida and they are made with fresh ingredients and priced at only $5-6 for a sandwich ! Just remember that they are cash only ! I had the BBQ bahn mi sandwich and it was amazing ! It was filled with tons of bbq pork, pickled radish and carrots, cilantro, and creamy sauce. The fresh jalapeños added a spicy kick that balanced out the creaminess of the sauce perfectly! I will definitely be going again whenever I am in the St Pete area! We took our bahn mis to the beach to enjoy the sunset !

I arrived around 2:20 p.m. and was let in by a worker at the front door, who told me they were closing shortly and suggested I head to the deli first if that was what I wanted. Once I walked in, however, a cashier yelled to me that they were closed. I was a little confused because I had just been let in by a worker who knew I was coming inside. From there, the experience felt a bit chaotic. There were quite a few people in the store, and I felt like the workers were very displeased by my presence. I honestly felt like I was a bother. I completely understand that I arrived close to closing, so I tried to be respectful of their time and rushed through the store to grab a few items. I had driven an hour to get there, so I wanted to at least make the most of the trip. When I went to check out, I initially got in one line, and the cashier was finishing up with the customer already there and directed me to another line, so I followed her instructions. I had a basket with my items and wasn't sure if I was supposed to empty it myself. There wasn't an obvious place to leave the empty basket, and the cashier never indicated that she would take it from me. I apologized and explained that it was my first time there. She told me that next time I should come during the week so I could browse more. As I was leaving, I noticed so many people trying to enter the store and being turned away because it was now past closing. That made me think Mazzaro's may want to reconsider its Saturday hours. They are clearly a very popular and well-known store, yet being open from only 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays makes it difficult for people who work typical Monday-Friday, full-time hours to visit. I take responsibility for not checking the hours before making the drive, and I understand that the employees were probably ready to go home. However, I still think there is a difference between enforcing closing time and making a customer feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed during my visit, and it put a damper on the entire experience.

Wise, weathered and experienced; a full life heavily soaked with memories, stories and anecdotes. A life lived is the vibe J.J.'s gives. As I peruse the timeless passages in the store, I come upon shelves filled with a small eclectic variety of foods and sundries. Draft beer up front. Wine and beer varietals, many types and sizes of chips and a walk-in beer and wine cooler. The place has a welcoming, comfortable and casual feel throughout. Tables, chairs and a sofa reminiscent of Aunties or Grandma's place where you can slow your roll and reminisce. I was greeted by a friendly young man who confirmed I could order breakfast. On the boards overhead a long list of options. Mostly Wraps, Sanwiches and Salads. As well as a list of available breads. They are open from 8am to 8pm. Just before I ordered came an offer, "you can add or take off anything or choose any of the breads for any sandwich". I knew right away what I wanted. Extra Bacon BLT on pressed Cuban Bread. The results were sublime, every bite the same, the perfect crunch, uniform throughout, tempered by the exact proper portions of mayo, lettuce and tomato on warm pliable bread. Artistry for the palate and senses. I know a good sandwich when I taste one. My critique of sandwiches almost always centers and highlights the lack of ingredient order, quality, quantatative balance and construction. Thoroughly pleased, I decide to order take-out for my lunch and an omelet for my wife. I wanted an original, just as they make it, with no substitutions in order to test their further Mastery of Sandwichology. The Vito please, and since it's for lunch, mayo and dressing on the side to keep it dry. It was the closest they had to an Italian, my go to in all places that craft, meats and cheeses between 2 or more slices of bread. Hand crafted, artisenal, perfectly balanced, uniquely constructed , benefited by an abundance of trial and error and creative expertise that is only accomplished with substantial time and experience. The Vito was a lesson in the art of making a sandwich. Proportions and ingredients in perfect harmony. From the razor thin red onions and banana peppers to the quality of the constituents and the perfect order placement of the items. It was truly a masterful composition. I preffered it without the balsamic. Did I get lucky? Or is this what JJ's does daily. Can't wait to get back and find out. Plus, some extra money forsome of those items on the shelfs. Prices very reasonable and free parking out front. Come getcha some!

I think it's a better stop than the gas station if you're on the way to the beach. Though I did originally come here because I saw that they had gluten-free bread option, the gluten-free sandwich wasn't the best. I don't doubt that their gluten-full options are delicious. I would've just preferred the sandwich to be crispy. It was pretty soggy. But on the other hand, executing a gluten-free sandwich safely in a kitchen that has gluten is pretty challenging. I don't doubt that they did everything to cover the sandwich and prevent cross-contamination, which is probably the only reason it was soft instead of crispy. So I'm not shooting it down if you're looking for an option of something to eat and bring to the beach. Definitely go though if you're just looking for some beverages and chips, they had a lot of really cool stuff there!
