Nambo Kitchen looks run down and almost closed from the street which is definitely off putting. I ordered a to go order of pho, banh mi and fried calamari. Great service, quick pickup. The flavor though is just missing - the banh mi lacked yhe most veggies were maybe only slightly pickled. The bread was really tasty. The calamari was most bland no seasoning at all and not many included. Pho did come with blended ginger, hot sauce. The broth though just doesn't have much depth of flavor. With so many options close by it wouldn't be a place I would seek out again. read more

Nambo is good restaurant in Pinellas Park. I like their Vietnamese street food. The restaurant has limited seat number. We were lucky to have the table. We start with detoxing drink. It is a green color drink enabled took out the some unwanted thing in your body. Next we got the roasted quail for appetizers. The roasted quail has good marinated sauce cook to perfection. We got the oxtail pho. I think dish is just average. We also got the crab noodles soup. This a good dish to have. The last dish is the grilled pork dish which I forgot the name. They had a lot of questions and Jordan was so patient and courteous answering. Crab fried rice looked amazing tho I didn't taste it. Shrimp were big and juicy. Spring rolls were bigger than usual - see photos and hand for size. I got grilled pork rice plate and the pork was very thinly sliced. Flavor was yummy but it was a bit dry due to thinness. I got banh mi to go and the butter they use is a bit sweet. Pate was there, but not my favorite. They had head cheese which I NEED on a sub so that's good. He gave us free teas AND dessert! Oxtail pho got good broth, but I wished the meat could be more tender. Crab noodle soup was my top favorite. A lot of yummy homemade goody in the bowl, this noodle soup was so good, unique, a must- try. Grill pork fry noodle was also excellent. Pork chop was well seasoned, with good amount of fresh vegetable in the plate. We tried their cold herb drink, so good and refreshing. I got a roll of their home made ham. Food was good, the bun nor hue broth was okay it lacked that spicy kick that I like. The sizzling steak with egg I enjoyed a lot more very flavorful and with the bread that it comes with helps cuts some of that richness of flavor that it has. The service was okay after we got our food I don't think they came back to check on us for any refills on waters, which is just the bare minimum to satisfy me. Sizzling steak and eggs with the black garlic sauce was yummy and protein rich. Served with a fresh baguette. Mango passionfruit tea was a bit sweet. I was getting my car tended to nearby and decided to give this place a try while I waited. I'm very glad that I did! I asked if they had Bun Bo Hue and was told that it wouldn't be ready until later in the afternoon, I was there around noon. So, I decided to give the Beef Pho combination. The Pho was absolutely delicious and the side plate of herbs was very fresh. They had a nIce selection of herbs to add with some condiments already on the table. This was the only place that I have been that had shaved pickled garlic as one of the condiments. I love garlic so I had to try some in the Pho. Don't know if it is supposed to be added to Pho but, honestly I would do it again. The place is very small, very clean, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Randomly tried takeout from here after a day at the beach. Ordered tofu fried rice and was pleasantly surprised to see pickled veggies, cucumbers, and tomato as well as fish sauce included. This is the ONLY place in tampa bay that does the Bo Ne. The food is great and the owner is super nice. Service is quick and friendly, with a clean interior and outdoor seating. The restaurant is a little hidden and difficult to navigate to on park, but it is well worth it. I always get the Bo Ne Nambo and the Oxtail Pho is excellent as well. I went to Nambo with a friend for late lunch and we had a great experience. They recently opened in the space Sap Sap Lao used to be in. The inside is bright, cheery, and clean and they have a couple outdoor tables on their patio. The parking lot is a bit small so I ended up in the adjacent lot. The service was quick, friendly, and super pleasant. I ordered the grilled pork bun (my default when I can't pick at a Vietnamese spot) and an iced coffee with milk. My friend got the lemongrass tea which she henceforth renamed crack tea. The coffee was rich and not super sweet, with enough ice to melt down and not make it watery. The bun had great fresh veggies and the meat was super flavorful. I'm glad my friend chose to check this spot out, it's very cute and it was a great deal for a quality meal. read more

Fantastic new Vietnamese restaurant in Pinellas Park serving out of sight auth dishes that are skillfully prepared by the chef and served in a warm and comfortable setting. Noodle dishes were chock full of fresh Vegetables and perfectly spiced meats and tofu. We went back soon after to try the Pho and it was really on point with deep rich savory flavors and lots of fresh and fragrant herbs. The food is served by various people who all seem to be part of the same family, all efficient and courteous. My husband and I had a fantastic lunch here. The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly. We ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, a bahn mi, fresh salad roll and spring rolls for appetizers. Everything was delicious. The bahn mi was perfect with the pate and the bread the perfect consistency. The fresh salad rolls were probably the best I've had in Pinellas. The spring rolls were a hit with the lettuce wrap and fish sauce. For our mains we had the grilled pork with rice and the crab fried rice. Both were really tasty and taking home leftovers. Service was super attentive, and we received a free drink (I really appreciate when an establishment gets creative with their offerings and looks for feedback from actual customers!) which was interesting to try. Tried an appetizer--spring rolls with lettuce and fish filling sauce. A bit on the salty side for me but still delicious. Had the egg stir fried rice (fantastic!) and a glass noodle dish--my son and I don't eat gluten or dairy. Truly everything was very authentic and fresh and not at all greasy or bland. I didn't realize Sap Sap closed, I was sad to lose a great spot but excited to try a new one. The place was immaculately clean, immediately upon seating the server brought me a complimentary specialty drink-I asked what it was but still lacking clarity-either way it was refreshing and unique. They have one banh mi option on the menu and I'll chalk it up to my Americanized palate on this but I'll pass on ordering it again, that being said I don't typically go for the cold cut options and the meats on this were not my favorite. The rice dish I ordered was fantastic-the flavor of the beef really shone through while perfectly complimented by the seasonings. It was also incredibly tender with perfectly cooked rice and crisp veggies. The only thing that surpassed this food was the service-Arianna was above and beyond, so sweet, welcoming, and I rarely see the level of service I received when dining alone. To top it off after paying my bill I was sent on my way with a complimentary dessert package to-go. This one's going on my regular roster FOR SURE. read more

Overall, this was a good experience. The servers were helpful and nice and the interior is small, but cozy. The teas were all delicious. The lemongrass tea and the milk tea like honestly both top notch, definitely give them a try if that's what you're into. The food on the other hand was just alright. We got the taro fries which were good but plain. We also got the pork egg rolls which I really didn't like... they tasted somehow stinky. And lastly, I got the Bahn mi which as far as price goes was a steal! Only like $5! However, it has that same stinky element, which I realized was the pate. I normally love pate, but in this case I kind of hated it. It wasn't a cream like I'm used to, it was basically more like a sausage and had cartilage and other tough bits in it in addition to being quite stinky. Although I didn't love the food, I definitely want to give this place another shot one day. read more
