Dr. Adham was out, so we first saw Dr. Hill -- she was polite but very by-the-book. She told me to fortify bottles for weight gain and said "formula is perfectly fine," but it didn't feel supportive of my breastfeeding goals or include a plan to get back to exclusive nursing. Two weeks later, we saw Dr. Adham and the difference was night and day. She celebrated my son's weight gain, supported my breastfeeding journey, and truly listened. When I asked about circumcision, she caught something everyone else missed -- a curvature called chordee -- and referred us to a urologist. He'll need surgery, and had she not noticed, it could've caused major issues later. She's compassionate, thorough, and genuinely cares. We're so grateful for her!

Believe the hype!!…read more Pediatricians, or should I say, good pediatricians are slim pickin's in this neck of the woods. Well, Dr. Adham is the greatest!! You can tell she genuinely LOVES her work and loves babies. Let me start by saying that I am a worry wart when it comes to certain things and my baby is one of them. I am constantly worrying about whether everything is normal and on track with my little one. Dr. Adham is VERY personable, thorough, and engaging. She does not rush you out of the exam room and gives you as much time as needed. She is also patient in answering all my new mommy questions. My only gripe is with the appointment call center and front office staff. I wish there was better organization. For example, I called to make an appointment about 3 weeks in advance. The day before the appointment I called to confirm my appointment and was told I was all confirmed and ready. Later that afternoon I received a call from the front desk staff needing to switch her appointment to 1 hour later. Although this is not a big deal ... this seems to be a common problem within this office and therefore should be improved. I'm looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Dr. Adham for all my baby health needs ... she is the best!!

Dr. Ginsberg is knowledgeable and he is very good at educating patients, especially patients like my son who is 13 and very hesitant to take medication. I like that Dr. G backs up his information with rationale and he is very professional. He might seem a bit firm at times. If you want a doctor that knows what he is doing and knows what he is saying, Dr. Ginsberg is for you. If you want somebody that will just do whatever you want then to do (like prescribe this or follow that routine,) then he may not be for you.

I mean, I was hovering, panicky, anxious mother - but she stayed warm and fuzzy and treated my child accordingly. She was very patient as my baby needed multiple appointments and lab tests for several consecutive days. She stayed reacheable even during the holidays it happened, and checked on us in the morning to make sure we follow through with the lab tests. She is one of the many sutter medical professionals and team members that makes me want to stay with sutter as a patient and as an employee.

We've been in to see pretty much all the Pediatricians during my kid's 17 year life span and like them all. Through every circumstance: birth, after-hours call, routine check up's and the occasional "gotta get in now" appointment, Bayside Pediatrics is able to handle everything with a "can-do" attitude. In my experience, the pediatricians have been thoughtful and pretty good with their diagnosis' and have that "special touch" with making my child feel at home and comfortable during my child's visits, through every stage of life - even when shots and other uncomfortable procedures are involved. The front desk has always been helpful, even in stressful times and I have noticed gone out of their way to get things done in a friendly, efficient manner - from getting me that last minute immunization certificate for the first day of school on short notice, to writing notes to the school, I'm pretty satisfied they always try their best. As far as the back office - they also do their job - helping me through the "co-payment" jungle, resubmitting insurance claims promptly if they don't get paid the first time and their availability (as well as phone manner) has just been fine. They even accept online payments through their website! I love this feature! Overall I can't complain about Bayside Pediatrics and most of all, my kid has NEVER complained about them and in fact has come to trust them. Through Bayside Pediatrics, my kid has learned a bit about how to navigate the medical community - not an easy task for anybody. The best proof of all, I believe is a healthy, (relatively) happy 17-year old with a great attitude and interest in their overall health and well-being thanks in part to Dr. Zwerdling and Bayside Pediatrics (oh, and of course, family :) ).
