I've ate here a couple times now and both times the food was good. Service was great the first time and the second time wasn't the best. Although the last time my mom and I got there about 1:00 PM and they close at 2:00PM, so by the time we got our meal we felt like we were being rushed to get out of there. Just the vibes we got from our waitress. The first time I ordered pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Everything tasted great. Coffee was nice and hot, which the waitress kept it full too. I was there before the lunch crowd arrived. Although breakfast is served all day long. Second time was my mom and I eating there, which we decided to just split a meal. We ordered an omelet, fruit, and pancakes. All of the food was great except the fruit, but it's out of season. Fruit was only one option to choose from, so other choices are available. Service could be improved. It might be because it was towards closing and she just wanted to call it day? I still thought even splitting a meal that $20.00 was a bit pricy for no more then we got and $18.00 for when I ate by myself was pricy too, but inflation is horrible. The restaurant is clean. I went to the bathroom and the signs hanging up in there gave me a chuckle. I will say the restaurant is spread out with a lot of room for seating. If you are looking for some good down home cooking, this is the place. Be prepared because during lunch this place is extremely busy!

Hubby and I stopped in on the way to the airport. Found this place on my trusty Yelp app. We generally like to try Mom and Pop locations for breakfast as we have usually found they provide the best be breakfast. Well Banjos Cafe is another hot spot to add to our list. When you pull up to this lil place it is off the beaten road. But don't let the location fool you. They are serving up some good breakfast food. I had the veggie omelette with hash browns and pancakes, hubby had the Corny with grits and pancakes. We both enjoyed our breakfast. Omelette well made and full of veggies, hash browns cooked just right and not over cooked or burnt, hubby said his grits had a really good taste to them. Definitely will add this place to my collections.

Friendly little diner with plenty of options. Good service and fair prices. Everything tasted like simple homestyle breakfast, nothing spectacular but still a good place to have a nice breakfast experience.

Decided to get off the beaten path and give a local restaurant a try. I'm glad we did stop at Banjo's. Great breakfast spot at a reasonable price.

Banjo's cafe is definitely a go to breakfast spot. We decided to come and take our family out to breakfast while we were in town visiting. The said Banjo's is the place. It was busy but were seated quickly. 3 of our guests ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. My husband and I shared a short stack of pancakes. My husband had the country breakfast. I had the basic hashbrowns and eggs and toast. Our server was very attentive, brought all the condiments and jelly we needed. Kept the coffee hot and flowing. Hats off to the chef cause my eggs were perfection. Perfect over easy and my hashbrowns were delicious. Everyone polished off their plates . No leftovers. We definitely left full and satisfied. I really like the decor , it was homey and inviting. I didn't take time to take pictures, we were hungry lol

Wow.... we are up here visiting family in Topeka and wanted to go to a nice "mom and pop" diner. We saw that this place gets great reviews on Yelp, so we had to come. It is the perfect breakfast place, huge portions, good hot coffee and great service. Our waitress was Chi-Chi and she was great, friendly, warm and treated us like family. The biscuits and gravy are excellent and huge portion. The grits was creamy, buttery perfection. My father had the oatmeal and it was the biggest bowl of oatmeal I've ever seen. If you are in the area and hungry you must stop by.

Excellent breakfast fare. I found the cinnamon rolls a little too sweet but still delicious. Always a packed house on Saturday morning.

Absolutely phenomenal breakfast at Bradley's Corner Cafe…read more I ordered the biscuits and gravy special with hash browns and two eggs, and I'm not exaggerating when I say these were the best biscuits I've had in my life. Light, fluffy, buttery perfection -- the kind of biscuit that ruins all other biscuits for you going forward. The gravy was spot-on, and everything on the plate was cooked exactly how you hope breakfast will be. My youngest went with the pork tenderloin sandwich, and it was meaty, crunchy, and legit impressive -- not one of those thin, sad tenderloins. This one delivered. My wife and daughter ordered two eggs with sausage and pancakes, and those came out cooked to perfection. Fluffy pancakes, great sausage, and eggs done right. This place absolutely nails comfort food breakfast. No gimmicks -- just really, really good food done right. Would 100% recommend and will be back.

I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla for lunch - and took home half to enjoy tomorrow. Added a piece of delicious peach pie (in a brilliant move, I traded half of my slice for a sample of my friends strawberry rhubarb) My friend ordered the hot turkey sandwich. Everything was delicious and the server was cheery and kept the drink refills coming. The only thing stopping me from sampling my way through the menu is I'll have a hard time not repeating my original order, I enjoyed it so much!

No need to dress up - it's a casual environment, with booths and tables and adequate but not glaring, light. And, they're open till 10pm. The general atmosphere is of a clean, modern diner. Think "fancy Denny's". When we went, around 1 on a Monday or Tuesday, the place was almost vacant, so by my experience, I'd say the place is pretty quiet too. The menu had a nice selection of sandwiches and diner-esque type food. Enough selection to feel you have a good choice without being overwhelmed. Mostly sandwiches, soups, and salads. I, as is typical of someone with a burger fetish, ordered a basic cheeseburger. 'Tis one of those basic foods I judge new restaurants on based on a previous set bar in my head. The service was pleasant and everything we ordered arrived fairly quickly and tasted fine, though it wasn't spectacular. Just average. The prices were about average too - $7-$9 a plate. I really wanted to fall in love with Madison Street Diner being a locally owned non-chain eatery, but I didn't. I imagine they make most of their sales to hotel guests and those passing through. Because of the lack of sensational food, this is probably not a place I'll frequent. Everything else about the dining experience was nothing to deter me though and if you like basic diner food give it a try!

My wife had the beef kabob with vegetables and rice and I had the chicken fried steak with potatoes/gravy and a side salad. The beef kabob was tender with delicious vegetables. The chicken fried steak was one of the best chicken fried steaks I have had with great flavor. The side salad was fresh spring lettuce and tasty toppings. The best however was last. We ordered a piece of strawberry cake for dessert. It was one of the most moist and delicious cakes we have ever had and was only $2.99! Full bill with drinks and dessert was $30 including tax and tip. With our $5 off from our voucher made it $25. We will be back. Staff was friendly, personable and ready to help.
