Asking around, I found that there was a convenience store across the street inside the Galleria building - or whatever it is called. They carry a wide variety of candy, snacks, beverages, as well as some other items. I picked up some cold bottled water, V-8 juice, and some snacks. A short walk from the hotel! #ErieviewNewsstand

Older Guy: (frowning) $1.10 Second visit Sometimes our job will get his mail, so I went down there to return his mail (side note, when the mail carrier came and I was handing them City News mail, the mail carrier stated "I'm not going in there". The mail carrier is this really nice person and never encountered issues with the mail carrier but I was thinking why they would not go in there to give City News their mail)... Me: Hey, just wanted to let you know that we got some of your mail (thinking about the previous visit...maybe he was having a bad day). Older guy takes mail and says nothing. No thank you, nothing. I wonder if my third visit he would be nice *crosses fingers*

This is an OLD STYLE newstand / smoke shops. Located not far from the main square in Mansfield, the…read moreshop brings back memories of the old news-stands from when I was growing up. And, despite the changes in attitudes regarding smoking, it's fun to still see an old smoke shop. I'm resigned to using digital media for news but it's still reassuring that there are places where PRINT MEDIA is still king. I just wish I didn't live an hour's drive from CIty News - Suzy's Smoke Room.
