During that time, several staff members were clearly visible socializing, hugging guests or coworkers, and carrying on as though the restaurant were hosting a private reunion rather than operating a business. There is nothing wrong with a friendly atmosphere. In fact, hospitality should feel warm. But warmth becomes negligence when employees are more interested in mingling with familiar faces than serving the customers sitting directly in front of them. The most frustrating part was not simply the wait--it was watching the staff demonstrate that they were perfectly capable of being attentive, energetic, and engaged, just apparently not with everyone. The place felt less like a professionally run restaurant and more like a social club where actual customers were an inconvenient interruption. After ten minutes of being completely ignored, I left. I cannot comment on the food because no one ever bothered to offer me any. A restaurant does not need to be flawless, but acknowledging a seated customer is the bare minimum. This place failed before the meal even began.

Sounds like they are putting one in across the street- which will be nice. Schnitzel was great - would have loved authentic spaetzel as an alternative to whipped potatoes but it was still excellent. My wife's salmon was also excellent - sauce was very good and its side of veggies contained LOTS of peppers. Maybe a few more snap peas to balance them out. All in all a very good first experience at this just-opened establishment. I reported it and seamed like the guy didn't care. He didn't offer me a $1 to make up for it nor did he shut down the machine after my report. I feel like if you have it in your place, you should stand behind it. An issue, it should become yours. 3. The pretzels are terrible. They are like sliced and fried with no flavor. They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. Steve and I had the Triple Agent which is a Triple New England IPA. This beer was enjoyable. Flavor highlights in this one are juicy, citrus and tropical. The beer has a creamy body and gives a soft feel upon your mouth when taking a sip. While this IPA was good it didn't necessarily a beer that got etched into my mind as time passed I still had no complaints with it.
