I had the schnitzel and my wife had the salmon. Portions were large and the service excellent at the bar. Value was good and they know the correct way to pour a Guinness (an important and under-rated skill). Parking lot is too small and was full and led us to think there would be a wait, but with a full lot the place was only 1/2 full. Sounds like they are putting one in across the street- which will be nice. Schnitzel was great - would have loved authentic spaetzel as an alternative to whipped potatoes but it was still excellent. My wife's salmon was also excellent - sauce was very good and its side of veggies contained LOTS of peppers. Maybe a few more snap peas to balance them out. All in all a very good first experience at this just-opened establishment. We're hoping that the summer crowd doesn't make this place impossible to find a seat at - but will certainly return after Labor Day when it's left to us locals. As soon as we walked in at 2pm, the bartender told us food isn't served until 3. That's okay, right? She did not engage in friendly conversation, told us "I don't care where you sit. The sign says seat yourself". Very rude. If they had friendly, adequate staff, the establishment could have some potential. but until then, very rude. will not be back. read more

We didn't eat anything which is why it's only 4 stars. We came in on a Saturday and we're able to seat ourselves. We sat at the bar and noticed the restaurant was massive! I had previewed the menu and seen that most entrees are pricey so we ate elsewhere. We drove by on a Friday and saw the place PACKED- there where several cars blocking the road! We came by the next night and it was less crowded though the parking lot was full. Again, we did not eat nor did we see anyone else eat, but food was coming out of the kitchen (it was around 9:00) but the bar was really nice and we had two STRONG drinks (I had an aperol and he had a very strong jack and coke). The atmosphere was confusing since they offer $40+ dishes but also have arcade games? They coincidentally played my two favorite bands while we were there which sweetened my outlook. The tables and chairs were pretty basic and they didn't have table cloths or place settings (again, they serve $25-45 entrees!). read more

The management has no clue how to run a restaurant. Experienced poorly trained rude unwelcoming staff and disgusting food.

I recently went and realize this is Laconia's 100th year Rally week and they are newly opened but I wasn't impressed with my first visit...we had the wings which were just okay the portions to price needs to be evaluated! I really want to see this place succeed and am impressed with the interior renovations from the previous place! I will definitely reevaluate my review once I return. Good luck read more

Great food and atmosphere-so easy to walk in and eat here. Prices are great and so happy to have another restaurant cool restaurant in town.

Giving it more than one star only because the server was super nice and I could tell she was disappointed. I have NEVER, ever left a place the way I left this place. Ordered two apps--the arancini and the crab and corn fritters. The arancini was only edible because of the pesto and marinara sauce. I did not know that arancini could be dry (had a hard time cutting into it). The crab and corn fritters were over cooked and flavorless. Took two bites and asked for the check. Had REALLY high hopes for this place, and had been looking forward to going. Really disappointed that it didn't live up to all the other great reviews I've seen. Left a good tip for the server because she looked dejected when we asked for the check only a few bites in. read more

Yesterday we stopped in with a party of 9. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and we were sat right away . The staff was fantastic and very friendly! The food and drinks were amazing! It was high end food in a pub like atmospher. Prices are great as well! We would highly recommend trying them out! You will not be disappointed! read more

Cool place just getting started. Best smashburger I've had anywhere. Great wings and pork quesadilla. Friendly staff and a fun vibe. Music and/or trivia on all my visits. place is weird. The menu only had like 6 things on it none of them were great. I got my food twenty minutes after everyone else at my table because they only had one fryer heated up for some reason. Drinks were good. other than that I wouldn't recommend. read more

We went on Friday night and it was busy. Our bartender was hustling and the hvac system on this half was out of order so it was uncomfortably warm in there. We waited at least 45 minutes for a grilled chicken sandwich and a pepperoni pizza. Turns out, our order went to another table who ordered a similar selection. The chicken breast was so small, it didn't fill the roll it came on but the rest of the plate was over flowing with soggy shoestring French fries. The pizza, was very hot. The cheese & pepperoni were delicious but the crust was flavorless. It filled the hole but it will be awhile before we go back. Too bad cause we had higher hopes for it to be our local watering hole. read more

I have been excited to try this place and it exceeded my expectations. The watermelon mojito was delicious and paired nicely with the maple buffalo wings! So good! You would never know this place had been open less than a week . The service was friendly and spot on. The ambiance was classy and casual. Limited menu for their soft opening , but the filet mignon was one of the best I have ever had. Don't let the old The Steakhouse sign in front fool you. 5 stars!!! read more

I called for a take out order. The place looked very nice and brighter with the update. I was instructed to pick up food at the back bar. Immediately my feet were sticking to the floor. Yuck! My order was supposed to be ready in 20 mins it finally arrived at 50 mins. I was told there was an issue in the kitchen. When my food was ready I asked if my order had gotten lost and was told a kitchen staff person quit mid shift. Snarkly told she personally went back and prepared my order. It tastes like the bartender made the food. Pork schnitzel was deep fried, not pan fried and over mashed potatoes, not spätzle. Chicken Marsala sauce tasted fine but it was NOT a Marsala sauce. Oh and Miss Snarky also told me she doesn't do take out but she was being nice and accepted my order. Very disappointing service and food. read more

I don't leave bad reviews but this one was so unbelievably terrible. The food was beyond disgusting. Went to the brunch buffet didn't eat at all everything took a bite of was terrible. Alot of processed food. The service was the worst I've ever seen in my life. No drinks about half way in had to get up to ask for a coffee then had to get up go back to ask for creamer. Finally flagged a different waitress down to ask for the check so we could just leave. She asked how everything was & all we said was terrible the food was awful the service was awful we had to get up to get our own drinks. She said I'm so sorry, I said ty. I was ok with the acknowledgement of what happened. BUT she then proceeded to out right argue that they were busy. I said no we were the only people there she continued to argue that she watched us pull into the parking lot outright lied was very nasty trying to prove her point. All I said at that point was you should've just stopped at the apology everything was fine. Even after that she continued to point her fingers out the window & around the room nastily arguing. Again I said you should've just stopped at the apology. That's all I said the entire time. She then put a huge nasty smirk on her face yelled HAVE A NICE DAY! I said nothing at all back. I turned around & she was across the room with the other waitresses staring & laughing at us. I said you think this is funny? So they all proceeded to laugh, smirk, & sarcastically yell HAVE A NICE DAY! I guess ALL the waitresses who work there think laughing at 2 handicapped people who spent their money didn't eat had a terrible experience & said hardly anything about it is funny.
