    Onion rings

Been here a few times for drinks over the last couple years on vacation. Decent drinks depending on the bartender. First time ordering food...we will call it 5.5 kids size buffalo chicken fingers for about $15. Come on seriously whats the deal with that? I had more blue cheese than wings. Should have known better when a grilled cheese and soup special was $15. Onion rings were good and price of doing business for the $8. Opinion of this place totally sideways after ordering food here..wont ever again. Probably will stop for a drink but thats it.

When I arrived, I ask employee who was sitting and having a cigarette if it ok to sit outside and she said yes. Sat down and waited about ten minutes before someone came to serve me. Food was good but very slow service and it wasn't that busy.

Visited for the first time this weekend, sat outside had a great view of the water and it was perfect for people watching. Great variety on the menu, something for everyone. We had the nachos with chicken and a rodeo burger both were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, would definitely be visiting again. As an fyi they are open year round.

Geez. Not sure what to say. . Ordered two Margaritas, can't find the Tequila. Wait 15 minutes. No exaggeration. Receive our 8 ounce drinks, they are terrible. Ask for the bill, waitress asks what's wrong with drinks doesn't ask if we'd like anything else, hands us a bill for $22 bucks. Won't go there again

I stopped by for lunch recently and ordered the Traditional Chicken Cutlet Sandwich ($15 plus tax), which includes 2 house breaded cutlets on a fresh Italian loaf. My sandwich was made to order and ready in about 10 minutes. The big sub sandwich was cut and wrapped in halves and boxed up to go. I had to rush back to my vehicle before paid time ran out, parked about half a mile away on Endicott Street. I headed over to Meredith and enjoyed my sandwich out on Town Docks lakefront which has ample free parking, unlike the overcrowded Weirs Beach area. The Traditional Chicken Cut Sandwich/Sub was actually two sandwiches, so the pricing seemed appropriate. The semi thick chicken cutlets were nicely breaded smothered my marinara sauce and melted provolone cheese of chewy Italian bread sub loafs. I would likely try the American Chicken Cutlet Sub next time, which has American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayo. NOTE: There is a clear tip jar container at the counter essentially begging for tips. However, when I paid cash for my sub, I got change back less a dollar bill. I was all set on leaving a tip in the jar, but they already took it.

I stopped by The Clubhouse recently for food and to get out of the very hot and humid weather. The place was air conditioned and I sat myself at a high top table in the front section where there were several people having food and drinks. The front room has a flatscreen TV on the wall and a digital jukebox. The bar offers 6 draft beers, can beers & seltzers, wine, mixed drinks and cocktails. The food menu offers appetizers, wings, wraps, sandwiches, subs, pizza, salads, and Italian dinners (lasagna rolls, chicken parm, ravioli) with garlic bread. The prices are moderate. I got an ice water and ordered the Lasagna Rolls ($17 plus tax). My entree was served in about 12 minutes after ordering. The Lasagna was a good portion served in a long oval casserole dish with 2 chewy buttery garlic bread pieces. The lasagna had rolls of firm noodles with cheeses and ground sausage and plenty of thick red tomato sauce topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. However, the temperature of the lasagna was all over the place with the center very cold and the edges along the dish hot, but it was mostly lukewarm. I ate about 30 percent of the lasagna and boxed the rest to reheat very hot when I got home. The check was $18.45 (cash)/$19.00 (card) with tax and before tip. Overall, the service here was courteous and efficient. The restaurant and bar was clean. The lasagna was hearty, but the food temperature should be hotter, especially serving food with ground meat and soft cheeses.

This is a lovely restaurant that sits alongside Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee. There are a number of seating choices including bar, high top and conventional tables, many with views of the lake. This time of the year, the views of the snow-covered frozen lake are gorgeous. I wish I could say the same thing about our dinner, which frankly was a disappointment. The menu includes a good variety of starters, appetizers, salads, handhelds, and entrees. Two of us ordered the Flat Iron Steak. I realize this is usually a chewier cut of meat, but this was so tough it was inedible. Our server and the manager both could not have been nicer in terms of how they handled this as I returned mine and was quickly brought a different dinner- a French Dip sandwich. This was tasty but there was more bread than roast beef. The other person chose to keep her flat iron streak, but I could tell it was very difficult to cut and chew. Another ordered the Chicken Milanese Salad which included arugula, peppers, roasted tomatoes and olives in a balsamic dressing. The Parmesan crusted pan fried chicken came over-done but that meal was well-liked. The service and the ambiance were stellar.
