At times it was hard to contact my loan specialist; he did reply to my emails but often didn't answer all the questions I had asked. When I met with Prospect Mortgage in person I handed them hard copies of my bank statements. A week later they asked me to fax them in, they had been misplaced. I was frustrated that my personal information on those bank statements was misplaced. I was asked to fax them a 2nd time, which I did, and I was further frustrated by my personal information being once again "misplaced". I was asked to send the bank statements A 3RD TIME, when I had a couple weeks prior handed them the information personally. Rather then send a 3rd fax (all previous faxes showed delivered successfully on the fax machine) I had to drive to Prospect and once again hand them into the office in person. I made it clear at that time that I did not intend to deal with this poor business etiquette in the future and they shouldn't misplace these bank statements again. Overall Prospect hooked me up with a good rate, and did perform the duties I asked them to but there were some bumps in the road and I was really shocked by the lack of professionalism.

Reached out for a little compassion, it got forwarded upwards with no response for over 24 hours. No resolution, no care. My checks disappear as soon as they hit, keeping me in this spot by design. If you're looking for a bank that understands mental health, real life, or just basic decency...look elsewhere. A lot of credit unions and online banks are way less predatory and don't depend on the struggling poor for a significant part of their revenue. If you look at their social medias and you'll notice something very telling about how they feel about diversity. Almost too obvious that this is the poor vs rich.
