I never thought I would hire a lawyer. That was until I was sitting at a red light and saw a Prius careening down Euclid with no intention on stopping. In a split second my body was changed forever as my car was rear ended--causing three herniated discs and messing up my rotator cuff. I called my friend who is a chiropractor in Pasadena that same evening and he told me, "You're likely going to need a lot of treatment. You can either pay out of pocket and probably not be entirely reimbursed or you can call up Brian Banner and have his office take care of everything for you." The next day I went to a chiropractor my friend referred me to who was by me and he told me the exact same thing, recommending Mr. Banner as well. I realized my injuries were pretty severe and I really didn't want to hassle with the insurance companies on my own. I called Mr. Banner's office and got the process started. Derek was assigned to my case. He was so, so helpful. As I was focusing my energy on healing, he was making sure everything would get covered. Besides some Icy Hot and a special neck pillow, I didn't put down a single dime for my treatments that spanned 9 months. MRIs, chiropractic adjustments, massages, acupuncture, spinal injections... all while my wallet stayed safely in my purse. I never felt like they wanted me to "play an angle" or were out for cash for cash sake. They were so honest and above the board throughout. When the time came to settle, I was shocked on how much they were able to get me. I was in a car accident and Banner Attorneys said they would take the case. At first they were great and sent a kind email, and referred me to a chiropractor. However, after several months the chiropractor told me Banner was dropping me as a client because my injuries weren't significant enough. Banner never told me. I had to call them, email, etc, to find this out. They never followed through, or called to check on me. They didn't sign off on the insurance company until I called the insurance company and told them. A check was sent to Banner for the chiro and Banner just sent it to me without cosigning, so I have to take it back to them for this. So if you have a big case they will take you, and if you have a medium or small case they will dump you like a hot potato without letting you know. No care from them. read more

Banner & his crew are the "man!" Literally not a man since Alyssa is a woman. Banner & his team have the personal injury sector down. They have a great network of physicians, and others to help patch you up. Being in my profession, believe me you, it's difficult to find competent legal representation. I'm so tired of looking for competent tax lawyers, I'm just going to do it myself. Plus how many of you hate lawyers? At least until you need one. Yeah, the stigmas are there for a reason, and the good ones are people you want in your corner. Phrases like "you get what you pay for" exists for a reason. If you want to be stingy or complain that it's too expensive, think long term profitability instead. Yeah some guys are $$$ however your return is also $$$. Just keep that in mind. Not all attorneys are created equally, and definitely the Law School attended doesn't make a lawyer better or worse (Law School just prepares folks to pass the BAR exam, and some law schools do it better). My point is, you want your lawyer to be a dawg, an animal, aggressive, mean... An assh**e (make sense now Grace)? You also want your accountant to be that too when fighting with government **wink wink** but that's neither here nor there. Mix that special characteristic that makes a competent lawyer with personal experience and BAAAM you have recipe for success, Counselor Banner =) There is a lot that occurs during legal proceedings. My field is different than accidents, but each industry when dealing with multi-billion dollar companies that do NOT want to pay you or simply lowball your cheap ass to get rid of you (Insurance Companies) requires guile, skills and relevant experience. The attorney and team must be aggressive & persistent with data matriculation from various physicians, communications must be on key with insurance companies, case management must adhere to strict procedural laws, and so forth. None of the attorneys will tell you these things, all the nuances involved that requires a successful case. Do yourself a favor and hit these folks up unless you want to get shafted.
