Most recently, I met with a really friendly, kind gentleman who spent almost an hour with me to get a couple new accounts opened. The Visa credit card I have here has the lowest interest rate of any other credit card I have besides the ones with the zero introductory offers. It's nice to earn interest on money in the bank, too. Lines can get long here. You have the option to check-in at the kiosk and get a text to your phone when it's your turn to meet with someone.

The branch staff was friendly but "loss prevention" aka the virtual customer service teams still could not lift the hold on our account after spending hours trying to reach the proper dept via WF CS lines to find someone to fix the issue. Only to have them still close my business accounts without proper communication back to me, leaving us in a lurch, forcing us to open a new business account elsewhere to ensure our business transactions are uninterrupted, because they no longer want my businesses due to a paperwork mistake created by themselves! I am spending days of work to set up all new accounts elsewhere and redo all our ACH bill payments. Even the branch associates complain of getting proper help for their customers due to lack of system processes and escalations. Cell phone access used to be easy but now it wants to also do the "double check" and once you answer the text properly, it directs you to go back to the site - which is stuck on the verification page - so you log back in and get the same thing all over again! another verification request. A new teller rudely demanded my driver's license to deposit only checks to my client's account, which was a first. I don't trust him to not sell my information. With good reason--a prev branch manager (there have been 3 or 4 in the last year) suggested I take advantage of my client. WaFd bank hasn't invested in their software. It takes 15 minutes for even someone good to do what another bank can do in 2 minutes. That means if the thing you wanted to do would normally take 10 minutes, you'll be waiting for hours. Online, the first time I imported the transactions into QuickBooks, it trashed the database, so I had to restore from backup. Now I enter all the transactions manually. The client says he's staying with them due to loans, and that Sammamish is much better. Couldn't pay me to bank with them especially since I live in Issaquah.
