He was polite and seated us. We sat and waited, and realized that he had finished with the customers ahead of us but instead of wishing them a nice day he asked them about their stance on gun control. An interesting topic no doubt but I found it very inconsiderate that we had to sit there 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment so he could enjoy this friendly banter. I can't help but feel as though he was treating us as second priority since we are young adults instead of the usual retirement community. Would not recommend.

I completed the process online, and shortly after signing up I got a call from the Brett Moyer the Assistant Branch Manager welcoming us to Rogue CU and he asked if we needed any assistance relocating to the area. I was very shocked because my prior bank/credit union had never reached out to me like this before. I took advantage of this unforeseen situation by asking him various questions about the area and Brett was more than helpful offering a lot of insight and advice. Fast forward a few months and I walked into the Roseburg branch for the first time. I was talking to a woman at the counter when I was contacted by Brett Moyer. He welcomed me to their branch and asked me how the move went. Needless to say I was shocked. I had a hard time believing that remembered me or the conversation we had a few months prior, but he absolutely did. I just wasn't accustom to such I high level of personal service where you're not treated like just another customer/ number. I asked Brett various questions related to IRA accounts, and CD's and various other services I was in the market for since they make my transition into Rogue CU so seamless. Needless to say I am very happy with my choice to join Rogue, and I would recommend them to anyone; all day long, and twice on Sunday's.

I remember a local bank we used when I was young (a different one). All the tellers knew all the customers. You had a little bank book and they wrote down your deposits. It was a friendly place. Oregon Pacific is STILL that kind of bank. Tellers are the nicest people. You can still bring in your loose change and they'll run it through the change sorter. They'll still write your deposit in a little book. Yes, they have online banking and "modern" services... but they still offer that small bank feel and that neighborhood bank service. I love it.
