I walked in at 10:30 with 3 people ahead of me. After an hour there were to after over 2 hours there was still 1. 20 minutes later I'm put in a room and told there are 3 people ahead of me. I went right when they opened on Sunday morning (8am, was there 7:55). I was the only one inside and I was seen around 8:25. Lots of paperwork and signing stuff, finally got back and was seen and left at 8:35. Not too bad from start to finish walk in 8:00-8:35. I threw my back out and wanted some advice and a prescription and they helped with both. Overall simple experience, main provider seemed caring and wanting to help, first nurse doing triage seemed rushed or irritated a little, but maybe she was having an off day. Wait is expected but I recommend going right in the morning if you can or scheduling an appointment. read more

So, yah. Like any urgent care or ER, you wait. I walked in a half hour after they opened with a possible ear infection and considerable pain. There was quite a few people ahead of me. The receptionist registered me right away. So I sat down and got ready for my name to be called. I noticed a monitor with everyone's name on it and the expected wait time. I love this idea! It gives you some idea how long it will be. One could actually go for a quick lunch or pick up a few things at a store. You're not glued to the chair for an hour or more not knowing how long you have before being called. The wait time was pretty accurate. Once I was in the exam room, I was out in 20 minutes. No one likes to go to an urgent care, but this one is as good as any. read more

Extremely disappointed with this facility. Brought my husband in with extreme nausea, he couldn't stop vomiting, even water wouldn't stay down. Waited for about an hour and half while he threw up in the waiting room bathroom the entire time; they finally call him back there only for the doctor to have to see another patient for an emergency - I wasn't aware, but urgent care takes emergency cases, so now I know. Anyway - the doctor finally comes in to see him and instead of testing him for the flu or anything and doing a thorough examination of what's wrong, they say he should just go to the emergency room because "we're closing soon". Gave him an anti-nausea medication and got him out as quickly as they could. I understand they were closing and wanted to go home, but we got there at 6:30 and he wasn't seen for hours after, that's not our problem. Treat him with the same care you give the patients who come in right when you open. I spent $200 dollars for them to tell us "go to the ER" and get no answers. True caring professionals. We both went in with symptoms of the flu. Kaeilgh at the front desk was very patient and kind. The nurse Mayra was very thorough and compassionate. The attending PA Don was really excellent, thorough, truly caring and explained our issues and options. This was a great experience. Wish I could give it zero stars. I brought my daughter in when her eyes were swollen shut. 2 hours later and we're still waiting for triage. MEANWHILE, some lady comes in saying she's having a panic attack and they take her right in. DO NOT go to this facility, your health is more important than that! Was able to make my way into this facility after suffering a bad fall on April 4th a little after 3 pm. Was in excruciating pain with a proximal humerus fracture I found out later. The person at the front desk said sorry. We can't help you. We don't do X-rays here. I had an X-ray there a couple of years before this do I was shocked. Medical services at the level of Haiti.... Avoid at any cost if it's something serious, going to this location could be the last decision in your life. We took a friend with severe COVID 19 symptoms to this location. They examined her, gave her a prescription for antibiotics and stated "nothing to worry about, your lungs are ok." At this time she was hardly able to walk. I was hoping that the doctor who examined her would write something so that she would be admitted at the hospital, but no- he sent her home without any warnings, any instructions or any kind of follow up. Her condition continued to deteriorate and we took her to the ER 2 days later. She was diagnosed with a lung embolism, she is still in the hospital and we are not sure if she is going to survive. We were told that if we had not taken her to the hospital she would have died within hours. This Banner Urgent Care is a joke, they just seem to be interested in your wallet, totally unprofessional. They aren't even able to do an Instant Covid Test (15 minute tests are available at Walmart for $19.98), instead they will tell you the results in 2 or 3 days. They didn't X-Ray her lungs, not even a blood test. You would except this kind of medicine in Haiti or Sierra Leone. read more

I would not recommend. I had 1 person in front of me in the waiting room. It took an hour just to look at my broken toe and then they never even showed me my x-rays. I asked for a copy of them and they said they couldn't print but could put them on a cd. Then I found out after 30 min at home that I can't look at the pictures without a certain software... so I called and they said I could see them in my patient portal. So I created that account and could not find them. So I called back and was on hold for 10 min only to get hung up on. Then after calling back they said "I guess you can't view them on there." My wife and I brought our 8 year old son in for precautionary reasons for what seemed to be a knee sprain. The Good: It was not at all busy and we were seen right away. Dr. Andrew Wood treated my son and was friendly, professional, and helped us with a plan to get his knee feeling better. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. The Bad: The nurse that took us back was curt and made it pretty clear she thought we were wasting their time bringing him in. The front desk receptionist was also very rude to my wife when she tried to be diligent and check back in to see if we needed to pay a copay. The same receptionist was rude to another man there as well who ended up saying "you guys are very unfriendly". We agree. We are trying to buy a house and just found out BUC billing company sent my husband's bill to collections. We have great insurance so I called BCBS. Long story short, BCBS confirmed and BUC agreed that their claim was wrong and BCBS agreed to pay the bill. BCBS also confirmed with BUC that they will withdraw the collection for us ASAP. I called BUC billing company and they refused to honor their agreement to withdraw from collections. I called BCBS again yesterday and they called BUC again. Now BUC is saying they have to escalate investigation and it will be at least another 1-2 weeks even though we don't owe them anything. Our lender won't preauth home loan until this is fixed, so we will probably lose this house. We've been looking for a long time and finally found the house we want. I was a desperate woman on a mission this morning when I lucked upon this urgent care. After striking out elsewhere twice for my son, I pulled in and we went in hoping for the best. The MA we worked with was awesome with my son and put us at ease immediately, the receptionist was wonderfully kind, and we saw Laura, the PA on duty at the time, and she was awesome. I gave one star because I was seen within 10 minutes of arrival as a walk-in. I had an injury to my leg and was given X-rays. Doctor comes back in and says everything's fine, no break. Left the room with paperwork in my hand. Upon reading paperwork, which indicated a broken fibula, I questioned him on the verbiage. He said let look at the X-ray again and it clearly ( even to my untrained eye) showed a break. They splinted it and then sent me to another urgent care for crutches. Ordered a prescription and sent to wrong pharmacy! This causing a days delay. Never again!!! read more

Arrived 10 minutes after opening. Easy access and easy parking in a private lot. South-east corner of Southern @ Higley. Saw the reg person who wanted an insurance card and photo ID, I said I would pay cash (they accept credit card or cash only) and had no photo ID (lost it as best buy months ago but I only need it maybe once a year). Saw the "provider" as they called him. Not sure why they try to hide the fact that you're not seeing a doctor. He was a PA. Either way I knew what I needed and what was wrong, all I needed was the scripts. Of course you can't do that if you want controlled meds, which I don't use. Everything he said was correct, his judgement was accurate. I was pleased with the quality of the PA. Then the 2nd nice feature was they had the meds I needed, in stock, for sale at the registration desk on my way out. This saved me from dealing with the pharmacy and is a good profit source for the business. This won't always be the case for you. Time from check-in to driving out the parking lot was about 90 minutes, which was somewhat long but not unreasonable. There were two people ahead of me, but they just opened. It seemed nobody working here was in a hurry either. Inside, the building is painted and decorated to be kid appealing. It cost $125 just to be seen, paid in advance. Then I paid $30 on the way out the door for two simple generic meds. If I could sum up my visit in three words they would be: professional but slow. In all honesty, the perception of the passage of time is oddly slowed in the healthcare setting. Ten minutes waiting on a padded bench always feels like one hour to the patient and family. Before you go to any Urgent Care please check ahead of time to see if what you want to be seen for is something they can handle. read more

They proceeded to tell me they don't THINK they are infected YET. They left me with a COVID test and nothing else to go off of. More than a month later and still no contact to correct this. Must be a computer-generated comment that they care. Here is a copy of my bill. 07/22/2019 OFFICE/OUTPATIENT VISIT NEW $236.00 07/22/2019 REMOVE IMPACTED EAR WAX UNI $33.00 I am very disturbed by the practice of charging customers. I went in for a slight ear wax clean out of one ear so I could go back to the hearing doctor to get an accurate hearing test. The hearing doctor said they would charge about $35. When I went into Urgent Care I asked how much it would be to clean the wax out of one ear. She told me she couldn't tell me for she had to file my insurance papers first. I said the hearing doctor said it was about $35, does that sound right? Again the response was I can't really say until we file the paperwork. I trusted that the fee would be about $35 and didn't want to hold up the hearing doctor, so I filled in the paperwork and she asked me for my credit card. She said she would charge me $75 (standard fee) and explained that the service shouldn't be that much so when I asked as to when I would get the difference, she stated that It would be refunded back to the card after filing the insurance papers. Again, I agreed. A month later I get a bill for $269. After talking many times on the phone thinking it was a mistake, They finally tell me that they are an emergency room and charge $230 for that emergency (just walking through the door) even if it wasn't an emergency. I got the total run around "if the provider requests the labs", "it depends on the provider" over an over. It's simple do you have the capacity to do the actual ANY lab work here or do you have to send it out? Another way of looking at it "will I get results today or in 3 to 5 days. Still never got any answer from the nurse. Even though my health care provider said they were the closest to me and I just moved here, I will never go here!
