It can be hit or miss here. But if you use the Solv app you can set an appointment and avoid a lot of trouble. I would say 4 out of 5 times I've visited this facility it's gone well. All of my kids have visited around flu season a few times, and I tend to have chronic issues with back and neck. The good staff will look at my record and kind of speed through the process based on my history. The crappy staff won't bother and then they'll ask a bunch unnecessary questions and even question symptoms as though they don't believe the patient. It can get weird. Just stay calm and resilient and firm in your responses in those cases. Ex: Once my son messed up his leg pretty bad and they wouldn't give him crutches. We just went back the next day and they gave us crutches. So that's a perfect example of how it is there. Most of the staff give a sh*t and also want your visit to go smoothly and quickly. But every now and then you'll get staff who are adversarial. Ultimately, they are close to our home and they are open when we need them. Overall I trust their services. read more

I started at 11:30 am using their online app. Since it was the first time, it took about 30 minutes (provide photos of documents and set up their associated mobile app). My appointment was scheduled for 1:45 pm. I arrived 5 minutes early. I arrived and they said the wait was one hour. I described that i was not a walk-in and that i had an appointment. It didn't matter. I was set up in the order of all patients in front of me that included walk-ins. Another hour passed and I was told that there were still three patients ahead of me and that it would be a second hour of waiting. Bottom line, for this company, expect to wait hours and just walk in as the scheduling system does not matter. read more

I've been to this location a handful of times over the years. Overall, nothing bad to say. Just sometimes they are quick to say everything is a virus when you get diagnosed. I set up an appt and was seen within 5 minutes of my appt time. Highly recommend using the app to make an appt. My wife has been in serious pain for two weeks. Week one, we had to constantly call them, because they were not following up with what they said they'd do. We ended up driving back to the clinic to pick up our order because they had never sent it to the office that needed it. We are now two weeks into this, my wife is still in pain, and they told her that, despite having an order for an immediate test, so we can figure out what's wrong with her, they would not send the updated order to the medical office that is waiting for it. My wife is still in pain, for absolutely no good reason. The lack of compassion is really shocking. I recommend trying one of the other many urgent cares in town before going here. read more

Lol thank goodness it was me going to Urgent Care this time due to nuts or other medical issues it was my boyfriend who came home from work earlier than expected due to an earache and a cough. Since he's a pilot he can't fly when his ears are infected so we selected this urgent care since they had no people waiting in line and to our surprise we were actually really shocked how quick they had him in and diagnosed within 10 minutes in fact I was still filling out his paperwork when he came out. I don't know how this place is legally allowed to operate. I went to this location a couple months ago extremely sick because I had a 104 fever, a cough, and trouble breathing. I made an appointment but that didn't matter because I ended up waiting two hours to be seen anyway. The nurse who saw me was very kind and showed concern for the state of my health and said she would get the doctor to see me soon. I then had to wait nearly another hour before the doctor came in. She barely listened to me when I explained my symptoms and told me I tested negative for both Covid and the flu, but she said it was probably just a false negative on the flu and that I would be fine taking over the counter meds and I should be fine in about a week. She kept recommending things that would "help my sore throat" and I had to keep repeating that I don't have a sore throat, I have a cough and I can't breathe. When I was checking out I was handed a box with a nebulizer in it with absolutely no mention of what it is or what it does. I had to Google it when I got home to try and figure it out because it doesn't come with instructions and the doctor said nothing about it, didn't even mention a nebulizer as something I might need. Then when I got home I realized I was given the paperwork for a different patient who has my same name. After waiting a few days and trying the nebulizer (which did literally nothing to help) and my condition kept getting worse I sought out a REAL doctor who was able to immediately identity that I had pneumonia and get me a script for antibiotics and an inhaler which fixed me up frustratingly quickly. Oh and that useless nebulizer that they just threw at me on my way out with no information whatsoever? I just got the bill for $250 for that, so that's great. This place had strong pros but a couple strong cons, too. The day I came, there was no doctor on staff, only a Physician's Assistant and Nurse Practitioner. Also, their X Ray machine was broken. Fortunately I didn't need it! Unfortunately, they did mess up by sending my prescription to a different place than I asked. On the positive side, FNP Seaman was awesome and super helpful. He diagnosed me quickly and correctly and prescribed just what I needed. I'm already feeling so much better! Honestly, the woman at the front desk was also start to finish super helpful and friendly. Went into day for 2 ingrown hair cysts and all they did was take a skin calture of the one that burst on my last Friday night and did nothing for the other one that is about to burst. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE- DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I brought my 80 year old mom there after she fell at her care facility. She had a broken wrist and a hematoma above a black eye. We arrived about 6:30 She finally was called back about 7:15 then they told her that she should go to the ER. They ARE an urgent care... They were not qualified to treat anyone!!! We asked about her broken wrist and they said there was nothing they could do because they couldn't treat her wrist and not her head- We asked if they would at least wrap her wrist because she only had gauze on it from the care facility... they refused and said there was nothing that they could do.... They suggested we get a wrist brace from CVS or Walgreens if we wanted to wrap it asap..... We believe they didn't do anything more because it was almost time for them to close.... They sent away an 80 year old woman that had a black eye and a broken wrist and did NOTHING!!!!! NOT EVEN A WRIST BRACE OR EVEN AN ACE BANDAGE!!!! I have been coming to this location for years. Since the pandemic they have like many health centers seen a dramatic increase in foot traffic. This has lead to what seems to be stressed and unfriendly staff as well as poor booking management through their app partner Solv Healthcare. I have now waited over 4 hours for my appointment and the front desk said they called me 2x to let me know they had an opening... well didn't receive those calls so when I show up early for my 4:15 appt it's now GONE. Took my 7 month old and saw Elizabeth (dont remember the last name of the dr, older women) Anywho, went in & my baby has had 2 ear infection back to back so this 3rd time I already knew it was an ear infection! She checked my son and said no, no ear infection. The inner ears are red due to him crying! And she did a RSV test on him instead which she mentioned they'd call the next day with results THEY NEVER DID. Anywho, took my baby thr next morning to his Pediatrician he has discharge coming our his ear due to the ear infection that Elizabeth said wasn't there even after I explained numerous of time she stated no, nonear infection! Fast forward a week later I take my toddler in they said they'd send a prescription over to our pharmacy, well 2 days later no prescription was sent even after calling and asking them to resend it. read more

I am so impressed with the service I have received here at this location. Everyone is so helpful and caring from the time you are greeted at the front desk until the time of your departure you will be met with excellent customer service. I have been continuously coming each Monday morning for the past four weeks due to a workers comp claim and in this time I can say I have not been let down. My treating provider has been Aaron Seaman who always greets me with a smile and a positive attitude. He has went above and beyond in setting me up with outside sources for rehabilitation on my hand and wrist. I am exceptionally pleased with NextCare and always have been, however, this location has to be the best. I only went to Nextcare Urgent Care on Mckellips because it was the only one open . I waited over an hour and a half and I saw the doctor for approximately 3 minutes and she said I wwillsend a prescription for pain medicine to the pharmacy for your back . I called the pharmacy several times and they had not received it I called again the next day and they still have not received it I called Urgent Care and they said they are not allowed to prescribe that kind of medicine . They should have told me that in the office but they didn't . I give it a very very poor rating because their customer service sucks and so does their doctor. I get there after 30 mins in traffic only to be met by a very rude young woman saying no walk in tests. She told me to call a number which leaves you on hold for over an hour. What a joke! after 20 minutes of waiting, mind you my son is nonverbal and doesn't understand what it means to wait, I ask how much longer. It took me to be on the phone for 3 hours and waited a total of 7:30 for urgent care to send in the prescription right. Went in there at 8 am appointment was the first one seen . Then they send my meds to a Walgreens 20 miles away. I had to be on the phone multiple times had to go in to urgent care three time physical besides my initial check up. 7and half hours later and some detective work on my half plus being ignored by the front person for OVER AN HOUR! The front staff was friendly and helpful however the provider that my daughter seen was more concerned about getting off by 8pm then helping my daughter. She came in and said you should take her to the ER, didn't even check her out. I asked if she could do the basics and look in her ears and mouth to see if it was strep or possibly an ear infection... She did a quick look and said "no looks fine there's nothing I can do, just take her to the ER" so I left and took her to the ER where we waited 5 1/2 hours to find out she has strep.... A simple test that the provider could have done at this urgent care and saved us time, money and my daughter a night of being in pain. She could have prescribed her medication and she could have started them last night instead of this morning.... The providers bed side manner was the worst! She was irritated with every question I asked and didn't want to do anything.. My daughter is 7 and had a fever of 103 and was in a lot of pain and all she cares about was getting off of work on time. read more

This place is a joke. They don't have real doctors, they have physicians assistants. I went here last night because I've been experiencing unexplainable fainting spells for the last four or five days, and all they did was write me a referral to go get a CAT scan at the emergency room. But all the referral says is "recommended for higher care". So, when I got to the ER, they had to start the evaluation process all over again from square one. When I asked why I couldn't just get a scan like the urgent care "doctor" was acting like I would, the nurse told me that it's because nobody takes this place's referrals seriously, because they don't have any real physicians there. So if you have an actual medical problem, I highly recommend going to an actual medical facility instead of whatever this place is. Everyone else in the industry thinks this place is a joke, and if you go here with an actual medical issue, all you will do is pay $100+ for a piece of paper stating that you should go to see a real doctor. This place was a complete waste of my time and my money. If you really want to pay $100 for a sheet of paper that says you should see a real doctor, mail me a check or send me $100 through PayPal, and I'll make you a copy. read more

So we took our son here and he was diagnosed with Meningitis! We were advised to take him to the ER! So we did and guess what. He had a stomach virus! How does one mid-diagnose this so badly! Our husband knew of a neighbor who had meningitis and died of it quickly after diagnosis. We were so distressed. My son did have the high fever or any neck pain which is the common symptoms. So needless to say, we did not appreciate the diagnosis! read more

We had not had any major issues until the last 2 times we went. The female PA who we were unlucky enough to have both times is so negligent and so bad it's hard to comprehend why you would have someone like that working here, let alone in heathCARE at all. First, I was given antibiotics when they only made me more sick because she didn't bother to take the time needed to understand what was going on. Secondly and worst of all, our young child cracked her chin open and needed stitches and in an attempt to get her the quickest care possible because we were worried, we came here. For anyone taking the time to read this always take your children to the E.R. they apparently handle stitches much differently there. The pathetic excuse for a front desk person tried to immediately get us to leave and go to a pediatric urgent care that didn't even open for another almost 3 hours. Trust me they weren't our first choice either. Then as we are walking back they say that her dad can't come back "to limit exposure to them" what a joke. Then we started doing the stitches and our child was obviously not number and the PA just kept going and didn't say anything after I requested she stop because it didn't seem like she was numbed all the way. The most TRAUMATIZING situation for me and my child. Fast forward to when we go to our follow up appointment and our doctor informs us only one of the stitches was holding anything, it was really poorly done so will not heal exactly as it should, and there should have been twice as many stitches. On top of all of this the PA was so put out to be trying to even do the stitches in the first place. If you can't hire competent professionals to provide CARE then you should close up shop. This experience was totally unacceptable and if they couldn't do what was necessary to help our child then they should have said they don't do stitches on children or said they couldn't help instead of providing BAD services (you can't even call it care) and instead say we needed to go to another location to be seen. I had no idea this was such a complicated idea for these people but if I can save one person the trauma my child and I went through then this review is worth the time.
