Saturday day, April 5, 2026, I called Banner URGENT Care if they would be able to prescribe an expired EP pen as I am allergic to bees. I was able to have an appointment in 40 minutes. When I arrived, I filled out the paperwork, and shortly thereafter, the Assistant took my vital signs and reason I was there. Shortly, the Physician Assistant asked me the same thing and then said I already called the Pharmacy. My appointment was fast, efficient and everyone was pleasant and professional. read more

The front desk woman was very rude and unhelpful. No compassion or concern for patients. Also, when seeing a Dr, I explained what I thought was going on and what serious infection I suspected it was and was told it wasn't that and that they wouldn't test for it. I had to call around to four different banner urgent cares until I found that this one had an x-ray technician on staff today the rest of them did not. I was able to get in fairly fast. But it was a weekday an hour before lunchtime. When I arrived I was the only one there to be seen. However, 2 other patients came in after me. I needed an x-ray. I was kind of upset that the x-ray technician did not use any of the lead lined capes on me. I know they had one, because there was one in the room. Perhaps x-ray machines have gotten safer. If that's true then why have one in the room at all? Just because I can no longer have children, is not a reason to protect me from radiation. In the last few years, I've had a bunch of x-rays and MRIs and I'm trying to avoid the extra radiation, but this x-ray technician never bothered to ask, and I was afraid to make waves and ask. I should've spoke up. I know better. Otherwise than that one hiccup the care was quick, and efficient. read more

Dr at this urgent care lacked empathy and sympathy. He did not listen to us and rushed us in the door as quick as he could get us out the door. Went to our primary Dr the next day was diagnosed with strep throat and upper respiratory infection. Mad that I had to pay 2 copays because of this dr's lack of not wanting to listen to his patients. We were in and out within 10 minutes . He advised to me that his daughter is made to go to school even when sick. She has missed 1 day for a Star Trek convention. I had went here for symptoms of a uti. The doctor was super rushed to get me out. I wasn't even the room for more than 10 minutes. Even after asking questions about my visit he was rushing to open the door and leave. Very unprofessional and would probably not come here again. Took my child here for a x-ray they ended up saying she has a uti and strep after the said the strep test was negative as well, tried to prescribe her antibiotics that she was allergic to after being told she was allergic and said it's alright! Took my child to her pediatrician the next day both strep and uti test came back negative! they are quick to prescribe medicine that you don't need!! Do not go here! read more

Then You come in WITH AN APPOINTMENT and 2 people in the lobby and still wait at least half an hour for your appointment. This was the WORST customer service I have ever received in my life. The first person we spoke to was curt and didn't explain anything. Rushed the entire process. Nurse Practitioner Lisa came into the room and asked one question before berating us for the time at which we arrived. Which was around 1 hour and 30 mins before closing time. We worked during the day so it was the only time we could make work and were made to feel awful about it. To be exact, she said- "Sooo can I ask why you waited until the last second before closing to come in??" Not ten seconds after she walked into the room. Extremely disrespectful. I would hate to think about the way other customers were treated, as when we left there were five other people still in the waiting room that arrived after us. No matter how busy you are it is not an excuse to treat people the way we were treated, so I hope others had a better experience. Lastly, we were asked what we wanted on the doctors note and then were told "Sorry can't do that. We'll put that you were here." As she was walking out of the room. Shouted bye from across the room as well and didn't make it clear at all that we were even finished with the appointment. The entire staff was snippy and disrespectful. After an uncaring visit in June where I felt completely ignored i received a bill today. The coding was that my visit was routine. My dr advised me to go to urgent care because she had no appointments available for a few days. I was extremely tired and felt winded. Getting worse daily. Urgent care sent me home with an inhaler. This is an update to the Review that I left a week ago. I had gone into the clinic because I was sick. After dismissing me despite the fact that I was really sick, I went home and had to go to the Emergency Room. I was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia in both lungs and I had to spend 6 (SIX) days in the hospital!!! I am still VERY ANGRY that I was dismissed in such a manner and that my illness progressed due to this clinic's NEGLIGENCE!!! I went here for burning nasal congestion with a cough. B Geisler the NP tried to play it off as allergies. I tried to advise her that I take allergy medicine. She kept interrupting me during being seen. She prescribed an allergy nasal spray even though I stated I already use one. She refused to give a letter for work stating why I was seen and a return to work date which I have received before from other Banners. She kept saying it's against HIPPA even though I was giving her permission. The NP couldn't provide anything that states what she was trying to tell me. The NP said I should just give my work my discharge paperwork which has more info than the letter I requested. The NP said we'll that's your right and HIPPA right to give them that but she wouldn't assist any further yet I have the right under HIPPA to give her permission to release the info for a note back to work. I went to Next care after and received the care I was looking for. I was then given correct medicine for the sinus infection and the correct letter for work. I used to go to Banner but now I refuse. Post covid wave review -- may 2022 skip to the fourth paragraph to get to the meat of the matter. First of all I want to say the lady at the front desk was really nice but she could speak louder. Couldnt hear half of words she was saying. Second the male nurse student assistant was really nice and could communicate loud and clear. Sorry I don't remember his name. You kind of see a pattern here about communication. Third the nurse practitioner named Judy Fong is a character. Let me start by saying that im sure she is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff about medical practice but the english language because an obstacle course thorough out my office visit. She speaks broken English and uses words in the wrong context. So that alone right there cause confusion and only made it worse with her trying to explain herself. By the end of the visit, i just stop asking questions. Also she will start to lecture you on any little thing and will have a comeback for any answer you give or dont give. She wont believe what you tell her about your symptoms and will try to lecture you on lifestyle changes even after you have already told her everything you have tried or done to try to feel better. Horrible service from nurse Judy Fong. In my trade of work we call those kind of people a "topper." They want to top you on anything you say and arent the best listeners. Avoid nurse Judy Fong. She wont listen and wont believe what you tell her and will just try to talk over you. Beware the nurses will push "the shot" on you and will continue to bring it up and will put the shot over like its the greatest thing in the world even after you already told them 2-3 times that you dont want any shots. Make sure to look at your release papers and that you wont be getting charge for extra services you didn't receive especially if you have insurance, which they will just bill directly to them. read more

From a pre-visit on the phone, to my actual arrival, I was feeling comfortable and impressed with the interaction of the phone person, and the receptionist at the front desk...The place was somewhat busy, but Hey, it is an urgent care facility...The lobby was clean, and the staff on all levels were very friendly, and helpful, and outgoing...I was made to feel that my visit, and concerns, did matter to the staff...My questions were answered in an easy and uncomplicated way...I felt that my issues were addressed, and resolved in a timely manner...I will not hesitate to return to this particular Banner Urgent Care should the need arise in the future...Ms Sidney C. read more

I have to go to this urgent care because of my insurance. It is the absolute worst. Have been here twice with sinus infections. They refuse to give appropriate medications and constantly tell you it's viral. Both times I ended up with a severe infection that took multiple antibiotics to get better. read more

Had a 2:15 appointment on Sunday. Got there at 2. The receptionist watched me sign the sign in sheet. Went to sit down until called back up. After 25-30 minutes, went to the receptionist to see if I could at least give her the insurance information. She said oh, I didn't know you were here. SHE SAW ME SIGN IN!! She then took the sign in sheet off the clipboard, looked at it and said, we don't treat high blood pressure. If you're out of pills, we can refill them but they won't give medication or even check to see how high the blood pressure is. She said we had to wait to see the primary doctor. Stopped in and got my flu vaccine from this location. Greeted immediately. Very minimal wait time. Got checked in immediately. I had a seat and was called back. Very clean lobby and entrance. The medical assistant who called me back was very friendly. The patient room was very clean and the whole process was very efficient! Horrible. I am a healthcare worker. My room mate is too. She tested positive for COVID. My job sent me to seek testing. I made my appointment online and the reason that I put for my appointment is for Covid testing when I checked in the reception guy with a slight attitude told me that there was no guarantee that I would get tested. I told him of my symptoms headache a little warm dizziness blurred vision lethargic muscle ache. Said I could get seen but not guarantee a test that is the only reason that I was here for and the only reason I put down online why I was coming. I left. Ridiculous. As someone who works in this location, all the reviews are almost 100% true. Most nurses are inconsiderate and don't have any compassion for patients, they sit and talk about their personal lives without having any care of who hears them. The emergency room is a really busy and filled place in any hospital, but nurses also do not send the rooms that need to be disinfected to housekeeping on time, therefore patients having to wait long periods of time to get a room because they can't communicate properly. There's no smiles or friendly attitudes either, you can walk in say hi and they would look at you as if you're less then they are. In my time working here I've felt looked down upon and treated as if I'm no one. Nurses and doctors. I can count with my hands how many good nurses work here. It's embarrassing. Evs and culinary are probably the only departments that have the nicer staff of the hospital, everyone else thinks that they're above all. It's sad, really. I'm surprised the emergency staff hasn't been all fired all along, I can't intervene in these situations but it's ridiculous how this hospital treats people. From nurses with stink attitudes and inappropriate conversations and behaviors, to not being welcoming and caring about their patients who are there to be treated like human beings. I'm sorry for all the people who have been to this place and have been treated horribly, I have witnessed it and I am with you. read more

Made an appointment at 7:15pm but was instead scheduled at 8:50pm...which was 10 min from closing. Yet, I didn't mind waiting. All I wanted to do there was to get tested for COVID-19 and that's it..that's all. But I was treated right by a lovely nurse, a lovey receptionist, but a really really rude doctor. Make sure you have your information 100% accurate because the doctor will accuse you of lying. Again I didn't mind the pettiness from the older lady doctor. I had a 2:00 appointment today for a pre surgery COVID test. I was there fifteen minutes before my appointment, and fifteen minutes after my appointment it was canceled on the system. The person at the front desk hadn't even registered me in the 30 minutes I was there. The waiting room was packed, potentially exposing me to all kinds of germs before my surgery, which may need to be postponed because I couldn't get this done. IF YOUR CHILD IS UNDER 6 MONTHS, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TAKING THEM HERE. My husband and I took our 3 month old here because she had been congested for a couple of days and then threw up and started feeling feverish. They charged us our $75 co-pay and then we waited almost 2 hours to see the practitioner who basically told us that they didn't have the tools available to see such a small child - then why the hell weren't we told that at the front desk and then made to wait while our child got worse?! They took her temperature 3 times with a thermometer (which I had already done at home) which they kept telling us wasn't going to be correct because it wasn't made for babies and then told us that we should either take her to Goodnight Pediatrics or the hospital. The practitioner even admitted that he doesn't know why they don't just tell people with infants to go somewhere else. After waiting such a long time there, we just decided to go straight to the ER from there. If we'd just gone to the hospital to begin with, our daughter wouldn't have been kept up until after midnight while they were running all kinds of tests. So basically we were charged $75 (and will probably receive more bills for who knows what?) so that our daughter could suffer longer. In hindsight, we should have read reviews before bringing her here and possibly just gone to a better urgent care location. Now we know. Sidenote: The door to the patient rooms was kept open the entire time and we could clearly hear the nurses proceeded to discuss other patient's issues. I'm sure that the good people at Banner Health would be upset to know that their employees are in direct violation of HIPPA laws. read more

I could have received a better diagnoses from a circus animal. Went in for an eye infection and the dr on duty didn't even look at the spot I pointed out! He said he saw the bump I was referring to a few times and i had to inform him it was a mole! Twice! And on the opposite side of my eye! Never mind the spot that is actually swollen and hurts. He prescribed me an antibiotic for "inflammation", hmmm I didn't go to school to be a doctor but I think I know that inflammation doesn't require a antibiotic. So frustrated, especially since I'll probably receive an unreasonable bill in the mail that I now have to pay for services that weren't even rendered correctly. Nurse practitioner Rachael Hacke was extremely kind and generous with my daughter and I and she took care of my daughter fever. Also, Tiffany Allen the front disk lady that give my daughter the shot. The only problem I had is when my daughter (12 years) refused to take her shot and she was crying and the nurse assistant Jordan was very rude and unprofessional to us. instead of convincing my daughter to take her injection he left the room and he slapped the door behind him while I was taking to him and telling him that she is ready, he said "no she is not" and he slapped the door. Then the nurse practitioner Rachael apologized from both of us and sent Tiffany to give my daughter the injection she needed. I do respect all their hard work but banner management need to do something toward (Jordan) he may need more training or work somewhere else. read more

I have great timing, so I broke my toe on a Friday night. Staff was downright fun and had me back there fairly quickly for my x-rays. It's a pretty bad break so they buddy taped it and got me a shoe to walk in. I was in and out faster than the ER for way less money. I can't complain about that. They did everything their clinic is designed to do, and I'm grateful they were helpful and patient with frustrations I expressed from my injury. read more

We've been here several times. Been coming since they first opened a few years back. Each visit was special and the outcome very positive. All the doctors as well as NPs, PAs were very friendly and demonstrated not only good, sound bedside manner but great professional acumen. They answered any questions we had thoroughly, leaving us already feeling better and wondering if we even needed to fill the prescription. The placebo effect was that good. I was at Banner Health Urgent Care sweating, can't breath after standing outside the dude come out and we are short staff and will not be able to open until more staff come. the dude stated people quitting. Nothing we can do about. Then he went back in and locked the door. The could have let all of us in but no just stand outside they don't care if you can breath or not. I will never go there or to any other Banner. Everyone in the medical have become rude as heck. I don't care to live if that is what this world is coming to. read more
