I had been bitten by dozens of red ants on my feet and one of the bites was infected. They quickly and compassionately took care of me. I was given antibiotics and the doctor advised me to wear open toed shoes for a while. She also told me to lay off of the hydrogen peroxide for the time being as it was burning the infection site. From start to finish, everyone was kind and helpful! I consider Memorial Urgent Care to be my go to place for Urgent Care.

Dr De Zalle called to let me know and a prescription was already waiting for me at the pharmacy. My Dr would never have done that and I wouldn't have gotten better. I deducted a star because there was a woman in the waiting area blowing her nose and coughing all over the place. They should proactively bring patients like that to a back room to wait, away from others.

My latest venture to one was earlier this month when I returned from a road trip, feeling ill. Suspecting I needed antibiotics, I went to Baptist one day after work. Some paperwork, a few tests, and a couple of hours later, I was out. I did indeed need antibiotics. This location gives you the option to either have your prescription sent to the pharmacy, or for a fee, get them on site at the InstyMeds machine. I would up paying the fee and getting them there as I was just dead tired. My prescription was for five days, and a couple of days after this, I saw my doctor. Said doctor switched my antibiotic because I felt awful only to have Baptist call the next day that the original antibiotic was the correct one. After following up with my doctor, I went back to the original one, and I wanted to just pass out, but I somehow stomached it, even going so far as to get a second dose of antibiotics because I still felt like garbage. Well, weeks later, I'm finally well again, so aside from this back and forth, no harm done. Just happy it's all over and done with.

As someone who has consistently experienced major health issues throughout my life, trust that I know my body well enough to know when it's time to go to the ER. However, if he had told me something concrete that he was concerned about, I would have taken him seriously. Instead, he was argumentative as I tried to explain my situation to him. He ended by telling me that they were open only because he was there, so what he said goes. I've never had such an interaction with a doctor and I wish I'd asked for his name so that next time I need to visit urgent care, I can make sure he's not the doctor on duty.

I called the number on the bill to get a breakdown of services to try to justify the amount. They said no problem. Just got the breakdown and it is the same bill as the first, no breakdown at all. $875 for the visit and $236 because it was after 10pm. This is just the doctors bill. I was there for less than an hour and had no tests done. I was given a prescription for antibiotics. I can get no answers from the Care Center or the doctor. I was surprised with my visit in the best way…read more Most of the urgent care centers that my insurance covered closed at 4 or 6 and I was scrambling to find someone and they closed at 8. When I got there, only one other person was is in the lobby. Just a note it's small inside plus they have seating blocked off due to COVID (Which I'm okay with). The staff was nice at the front desk and the paper work wasn't that long. I had another person in front of me , so I had to wait a bit in the exam room. The PA ( I'm saying PA cause usually doctors say that they are a doctor when they walk in, if she's a doctor I really do apologize ) asked me what brought me here and actually listened to what I had to say. She told me what she thought was wrong and ordered some X-rays. Additionally, she added an X-ray to see if what I thought happened was going on as well. Got the X-rays done and what she said was the right thing and she took her time out to explain why. Gave me a shot and I was on my way home. Woke up this morning in barely any pain compared to the day before. Thanks to the staff there for proving me wrong and taking good care of me.

The doctor and nurse were very knowledgeable and, above all, CARING! Even though my test results hadn't come in yet, the doctor still called to see how I was doing anyway and gave me options if I didn't feel better. That's unheard of in my experience!
