This isn't going to be pleasant.... (My wife brought my…read moredaughter hasn't been feeling well for a couple of days now, so we decided to take her here. ) They got there around 10:30, but had to wait till 12:15 to be seen since there is only one doctor available. The doctor wasn't very throughly helping her out since her oxygen levels were not at par last night. He says there nothing wrong, my wife said ok your the doctor. (Mind you my wife took her vitals last night with her being an EMR.) The doctor says per covid guidelines I can't give you anything, except for Tami flu. Now mind you she is 100lbs 4'8. So the doctor gave here a z-pack, and doxycycline. Then they asked if we wanted to do a chest x-ray. My Daughter said ok to that. Then the staff said the Tech wasn't there to do it right now, hopefully she'll be back. Key word "hopefully". So they wait and wait another hour goes by, and they tech is back. By now they been here a long time, and my daughter is fading. She needs to go home and sleep. But now the staff said the x-ray machine needs to be shut down. Hmmm so which is it. The Tech wasn't in or the machine is overheating? Any way all in all they got caught in a lie, and started arguing with my wife. Needless to say they passed on the x-rays and left. I do not recommend this place. Not even your dog.

Worst experience and the rudest people to deal with. Do not take your children to these people…read morethey will give you the run around and I will tell everyone about the rudest most unprofessional employees that MedExpress has. I specifically wish to share with you about my experience with Ebony and Johanna. My eight year old daughter was showing possible symptoms of Covid. I called MedEpress to make an appoint to get her seen as it is my understanding that they are available after hours and on Sundays. This is what happened: My first call I was told by Joanna that I needed to call back in a hour because they were on a break. My call in a hour, I was told by Joanna to call back in another hour because they were busy. I called back in another hour and the phone was not answered. There is no option to leave a message. Their automated system just hung up on me. After more attempts to call them over the next thirty minutes with no answer a employee by the name of Ebony answered the phone and put me on hold for 10 minutes. When she got on the phone she said they were taking a pause, whatever that means, but at 2 pm I could bring my daughter between 4 pm and 6 pm,Unless, I wanted to bring her immediately and wait in the parking lot. Which I could have been told that when I called the first time at 9:30 am. I elected to do that especially since I was under the impression that they proveded express service as indicated by there name. When I arrived I was told that they dont accept my insurance and that I would have to pay $189.00 for the test. Everyone else does not charge for the test. When I mentioned that to Ebony she replied very rudely that " they have always charged for the test". Based on My experience with them to that point I decided to go somewhere else that does not promote corporate greed, Is not rude to their customers and potential patients and does not give thier customers a run around while they are trying to get medical help for their children. I am very dissapointed with the way this company treated us and will make a point of telling everyone I know about this experience and I will specifically mention the name of the rude, none caring employees that MedExpress has. I've been here twice for minor problems. Both times were a good experience and I was seen quickly…read more This was especially appreciated because one of those times I only had a small window of time to get in and out before I had to return to work. The staff did everything they could to make sure I could get treated promptly and get back on my way. The clinic doesn't have the equipment or facilities to treat more serious injuries but for your run-of-the-mill problems like minor infections, illnesses, or sprains this clinic would be my first choice any day because I can get in and out so much faster than I ever could at, say, the family medicine clinic at the nearby medical university. The only turn-off for me with this clinic is there is a lot of Christian or Bible-themed plaques and sayings posted around the clinic. I believe in treating the 'whole person' and in the valuable role one's spirituality (if applicable) can play in healing. However, when only one faith or religion is represented it implies that in the eyes of the staff there is the only 'right' belief system, and that does not feel welcoming to patients who do not share those beliefs. If a clinic is going to post such things on its walls, I believe it is more appropriate to post inspirational quotes from a -diverse- array of faiths or spiritual leaders so as to communicate respect for the diverse array of clients that walk through your doors.

Walk-ins not welcome…read more Apparently they switched from walk-ins welcomed to "by appointment only". They just forgot to tell everybody. Besides, on paper they look like they have not been open in 6 years or just simply not review worthy. Maybe after a few more "by appointment only" patients, they can afford to update their door signs and street sign. It's a scratch.

Looking for a primary care provider for our daughter who has "aged out" of her pediatrician…read more Curtis clinic came highly recommended by several people, unfortunately, they are not in our insurance network. I did talk to our insurance and they stated there is a way for a "non-network" provider to become an "in-network" provider. Called Curtis Clinic and explained that we were looking at getting a provider for our daughter, however they are out of network. Asked if they were willing to be in-network. The receptionist referred me to the VA Hospital. I explained that most family members are not allowed to use the VA as it is for the military veteran member, not family members. She then connected me to another person in the office who knew more about the insurance side. I explained the situation again and was abruptly told, "They don't take Tricare or Medicaid". I asked, would they be willing to apply so Tricare patients could use their clinic. Again, I was told (almost rudely) they are not interested in becoming a Tricare provider. It seems some providers don't know or realize that Tricare is a private insurance and not a public insurance. Those with Tricare, pay for it and have a co-payment on visits. We won't bother Curtis Clinic again and look into getting our daughter a doctor/nurse practitioner who is Tricare friendly.

Andrew Gunther Cain will not treat your pain. He will try repeatedly to sell you an electroshock…read moredevice, even though you tell him -- repeatedly -- that you are not interested; he won't give you time to answer that you have religious objections to what he's pushing. He'll shove a sales pamphlet at you when you leave, still in pain. BAD ATTITUDE: This man is the rudest, cockiest clinician you'll ever meet. Surgeons such as he often think of themselves as miracle workers, but they are not: Anyone whose daddy has enough money can be trained to do his job. OUTDATED: His approach to patient care is 30 years out of date, as is the technology he describes as "cutting edge." He will interrupt as you are speaking; he is dismissive of your concerns; he shamed me for asking for medication (the simplest, most cost-effective solution); he has underdeveloped social skills and terrible bedside manner. His mullet did not impress me, either. NOT WORTH IT: I waited two weeks to get in; spent two hours in drive time and $20 in gas; waited over an hour to see him; then was given a hard salespitch for an expensive gadget that requires electrodes be inserted in my body and only works in 70 percent of patients, according to the sales pamphlet. ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS: The appointment with him was an absolute waste of time, money and patience. I have no confidence in OrthoArkansas -- except that they will milk your insurance for unnecessary and unproductive visits. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Sherwood telehealth service was terrible. Canceled our Sunday Father's Day appointments because…read morethe telehealth NP would not accept my wife who had a cat bite and just needed antibiotics. We eventually found out the NP was insisting she needed a tetanus shot so refused our appointments. We were nearing the end of the 48 hr timeframe within which a person needs to take antibiotics. NP didn't care. Was willing to endanger my wife. Tetanus shot was absolutely not needed but antibiotics absolutely were. So we had to pay an extra $80 ($150 vs $70) plus travel about 45 minutes to Searcy hurrying to get there at our scheduled time only to wait about another hour until we actually saw the NP who said exactly what we already knew - wife needed the exact antibiotic we expected, no tetanus shot, and he needed to call in the Rx so we could get it in time before pharmacy closed and get a meal somewhere because it needs to be taken with food. So extra hours, frustration, and expense because of the incompetence and lack of concern of the telehealth employee. Glad we could eventually get the service we needed that same day. Front desk lady was nice! Place was clean and comfortable. Other staff member who helped was okay but seemed like she didn't want to be there any more than we did.
