I would give this place ZERO stars. The food is awful and substandard. It seems like the food is days old, stale and reeks. But where this place really takes the cake is Nadeem's God awful customer service. He is quite a piece of work, has zero manners and needs a class in basic etiquette. P saw this place as I was driving around browsing for a place to eat and I decided I could go for some Barbque. When I walked in I noticed that there was a distinct lack of smoked meat smell and was pleasantly surprised to find Mediterranean food on the menu. I decided to get my food to go, so I cannot tell you about the service except to say that the person at the front was extremely helpful and friendly. I ordered the kabuli biryani, the chicken shawarma, and the Hummus. Everything was incredible. The spices were perfect. The food is not too hot, but there is a little bite. Amazing food and friendly staff. A little too slow for my patience but well worth the wait. The food is authentic in taste and everything we ordered turned out to be just right. I went their with a group of 4 people and everyone was happy with their choices. I liked their middle eastern and Afghani dishes a lot. This is what they specailize in, so if you are looking for overspiced Indian/Pakistani food and a heartburn, then go across the parking lot to Mughals. This place is easy on the spices but the food is fresh. I really like their Tikka, kababs, hummus etc. Will definitely recommend to other people. Forgot to mention that the prices are just right. If taste is really good with reasonable price then I don't bother about ambience. I know ambience is not really good and they need to improve , but taste is awesome, chicken bar b que I loved it, and I am big fan of their biryani, both chicken and goat biryani is best in atlanta for me. I don't mind driving 20 miles just for biryani. And never forget to order their 50 cents delicious spring rolls. Price is too reasonable, biryani $4.99 I can't even cook at home for that price. My wife and I had a dee-licious lunch Sunday at a place called Bar-B-Q Tonite in what is technically Norcross, but not far from Tucker. The restaurant bills itself as Afghani / Mediterranean / Indian. We went the barbecue route. We ordered a fattoush salad, some naan, some baba ghanoush and a combo meat platter, with falafel, lamb, beef and chicken, served with a spicy hot sauce. Eveything was terrific, the person waiting on us was extremely nice and helpful. Appeared to be a Sunday buffet for lunch for $7.99, but we ordered off the menu. All that food and water cost us $14. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying some of the other specialties. You should too! read more

I would give it zero stars if possible. First things first they have a B health rating (should have been my first warning). Nonetheless I figured I'd give it a shot. I went to order while my mom inquired about the restrooms. The cashier was too involved in her own conversation to even take my order, and proceeded to tell my mother that they didn't have any restrooms. After waiting 10 more minutes for her to finish her conversation she took my order and then quietly showed another customer where the restrooms were!! Needless to say I canceled my order on the spot and walked right out. The staff is incredibly insulting and inattentive. Don't even waste your time. I admit that the decor is run down, but I love Pakistani food (and have been to many Pakistani restaurants in the Atlanta area) and this place is the best I have had. I have been here dozens of times, and have had at least half of what is on the menu. I have also had the buffet and have brought friends here multiple times. I LOVE THIS PLACE I've eaten here almost 20 times I use to only try their brunch buffett on Sunday's since I'm so indecisive and it let me get the best of everything, but Ive started ordering right off the menu on nights when there's no food in the house. The very filling chicken schwarma sandwich is only 4.25 after tax and its a pita stuffed with tender grilled chicken, a delicious yogurt sauce, lettuce, cucumbers,tomatoes and loveeee. One night they were having a private event when I called in, he still let me order and when I arrived I called inside and he brought it out to me at the door!! he even went back to go get me some Tzatziki sauce for my Gyro...yes they sell Greek food toooooo! The owners daughter on my first trip and when I brought my parents or friends, literally walked down the brunch line describing each dish and answering all the questions. This is a hole in wall indian/pakistan restaurant. Prices are cheap and they have a $6 lunch buffet. I ordered carry out. Took about 20 min. Biryani was ok. I didn't like the chicken tikka. It had a strange spice that didnt seem right. There was another chicken dish I never heard of on the $3.99 carryout menu that looked oily but was very tasty. Varied menu from different regions and friendly staff to take my to go order! We ordered the hummus, naan, kabobs, and chicken shwarma. The naan was amazing: light and fluffy, a little brown in places...I couldn't wait to try it when I got the take out to the car (I had some of it before I got out of the parking lot). I have to confess that we did not eat immediately however the food was really good (2 hours after i picked it up). The chicken and rice were very flavorful, the beef kabob was also really good. My absolute favorite was the spicy condiment that came along with the food and, of course, the hummus ( so good). The best part is that this is a local business that sells food we love and it is like 4 blocks from our house. I can't wait to try other items off of their menu. Owner is extremely rude and does not understand industry standard with customer complaints. We have ordered from him since 2012 and had great experience until the last few times. The shaami kababs were very bland without any seasoning or anything. When I called to advise the owner, he was very rude and started an ego trip with me. I told him specifically what's wrong with the food i.e. shaami kababs had no seasoning. First, he said to bring in the kababs and let him taste it as he claims to have made them himself. Then, he explains that if he feels they are bland, he will compensate me. I guess he does not understand customer loyalty or that we have ordered two straight years. He also stated that "we must be getting bored with the food" like the people who received food from God i.e. Munva Sulva. I know the story but I thought that was irrelevant to what we are talking about. Yes, those people got bored with the food but if you eat authentic Pakistani food, you can tell the difference between a bland kabab and one that was actually made the correct way. If the kababs are supposed to be bland, then advertise them as such and be clear on what seasonings (if any) you will be adding. I offered to drive up there (waste 35 minutes of my time and gas) and show him it's bland. He sounded happy with this since that proves that I have no idea what I am talking about. Which probably lead into the follow on conversation next. He started asking me how old I am etc. For feeding his ego, I told him I was 15 years old and then in fact, I was born yesterday. At this point, I was just trying to humor myself because he wasn't going to believe me and just does not get what "customer service" is. Cheap food, cheap quality, you live with it is what I gathered from this conversation :-) We never got to the Nehari because his ego kept forcing him to defend himself and never admit the mistake. As you can see, the owner's ego here gets in his way of doing business. No wonder why the restaurant is almost always empty unless it is buffet time. Then, we see about 4-5 people walk in and eat. I also advised him industry standards are different than what he is stating here with me. He did not agree, of course. At this point, I had to let it go and tell him he won't be getting my business if he is that rude. I did tell him I am going to advise all my friends to not even look at his restaurant. Went to Bar-B-Q Tonite with my wife with high hopes. But was highly disappointed. Ordered Shawarma and Koobideh. Shawarma is a Mediterranean item and Koobideh is Persian. But both items came with yellow Mexican rice that has corn in it. YUCK!! Why would you serve Mexican yellow rice with such items? At least use proper Basmati rice. Then we also ordered Chicken Biryani to go. Again a big disappointment. It was under cooked with lots of moisture and didn't even taste anything like biryani. I spent many years working in Asia and the middle-east and love the food and hospitality of the people in these regions. I was certainly not disappointed when I stopped in at Bar-B-Q Tonite. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and I decided to have the Super Combination, which is a combo of Mediterranean Kababs. The only issue was that the portion was too much for me to finish for lunch, so I had to take about half of it to-go. Just had take out from here for lunch. Ok so I would never go to this area to eat but saw the yelp reviews and went for it since I was in the mood for Lebanese food. It is in a strip mall and you will miss this place if you blink. There were only a couple of customers when I walked in around 1pm. The owner at the counter was very friendly. I think his wife was in the back cooking based on the conversation I heard. I ordered the falafel pita, fatoush salad, and chicken byriani (to eat later at dinner). I was pleasantly surprised that the falafel wrap came with batter dipped french fries, which were hot and crispy. There was a lot of falafel in the pita but unfortunately, the taste was just average. I like my falafel to be crispy and well seasoned with a good amount of sauce. I did eat it all though as I was very hungry. The fatoush salad was a disappointment. Though the salad greens were fresh, the pita chips tasted stale and instead of the traditional lemon dressing, I tasted italian dressing that tasted just like Wishbone. Not at all what I was expecting. I only took a couple of bites. Now, the chicken byriani was the redeeming dish on this visit. Before I put in the fridge, I tasted it. It was delicious, the rice was fluffy and well seasoned. I may go back but will try the shawarma or kabobs instead. Also, need to try the hummus. Also, another plus is that the prices are very reasonable. The take out box of byriani was only $3.99 and it was filled to the top! read more
