Sabri Kabab delivered a fantastic experience for our dinner yesterday. The new management has definitely made a huge improvement on this longstanding Atlanta institution. The seekh kabab were very high quality, the malai chicken was tender and flavorful, and my kids loved the chicken 65. The naan was light and airy with the perfect chewiness (definitely try the garlic naan)! Palak and okra were also delicious. Food was not too salty or greasy either. We will be back soon! read more

Loved this place back in 2016 and somewhat remember going here at least once a month. My favorite was their chicken 65 and the charga! But had a couple of incidents with the servers where they forgot our orders or the food came out like super late so we kinda stopped going. I still continued to support them via Uber eats because nothing can really go wrong with the butter chicken or the chicken Karahi. Anyways, my boyfriend was craving Charga recently so we gave "dining in" another shot! The place wasn't too busy, it seemed way more clean than the last time I went here. The person who takes your order is nice and tries to make a conversation. All of our orders came out perfect, would love the Daal to have a better tadka because it didn't have much garlic/jeera flavor. But the Charga was amazing as usual! I'm still a huge fan of their hours because most desi restaurants close pretty early but this spot is open till late so I know I'm definitely gonna go here again on the weekends. read more

So delicious! Space is clean, spacious, and well ventilated. Entrees such as seekh kabob. Bhindi, aloo palak, malai boti were finger licking good. Nor was it overly spicy, greasy, or salty which is an unheard of concept amongst local desi restaurants. The new management is doing an impressive job. It doesn't stop there. Sabri has been around long, almost feels like for centuries. With late night hours and competitive prices it was a spot I used to frequent at. But after seeing the sharp drop in their service a couple years back, I had stopped. Recently, due to late night Charga and Naan craving I thought to give them a shot again. Pleasant surprise, Charga was delicious. Bihari kabob and daal was good. Importantly, the service was somewhat better this time. So for those unplanned cravings, would recommend. Though delicious, I spent over $30 on two tiny plates. One plate had 2 and 1/2 EXTREMELY TINY pieces of chicken. When I brought it to the managers attention that a $12 dish literally had a total of 2 bites of chicken and the rest is pretty much just red sauce, his response was "yes its 3 pieces of chicken that's what it brings." The plates I ordered were the Aloo Palak which was underwhelming and nothing special. I would absolutely avoid the Karahi chicken at all costs. Left very disappointed and dissatisfied. Will not be coming back and would not recommend. This should not be listed as one $ as one will easily spend well over $20-$25 per person. read more

Sabri Kabab House is a traditional Indian/Pakistani fare and sweets in a counter-serve setup with vibrant orange walls and blue booths. This is a surprising little spot that is easily missed. If you weren't already going here you would likely miss it. The restaurant is attached to a gas station and is very easy to miss, but the selection and quality of dishes is excellent. Price is very reasonable and I was very satisfied with the food. Inside the restaurant they have a small shop which sells different kinds of pan, chewing tobacco and Indian movie DVD's. The decor is a little lacking, but that doesn't really affect the food or it's taste. I love their food specially Mutton Karahi and Chicken Karahi. Khorma and Kebab rolls are really yummy. Try the Seekh Kabab and Beef Paya. On Fridays there might be some parking issue at night but for the rest of the days you will easily find parking. What is good about this place is there timings. They are open till 12 AM on weekdays and 3 AM on weekends. This is best place for late nights on weekends. They do have table service and they are very friendly and helpful. The service was a little slow, but it compensates with tasty food. I recommend going with a group, ordering a few dishes to go and eating family-style. All the dishes are standalone and may seem like small portions, but the food is so rich it's plenty in the end. The pictures in the website shows that they have a lunch buffet, but right now they do not serve any kind of buffet. Halal authentic Pakistani food. If you are craving food that has Karachi flavor then this place is for you. Good internal setting. The staff is friendly. We tried nihari, kabob fry, paratha and naan. Nihari was delicious and was probably the best I have had in US. Kabob fry teleported me to Delhi Colony and Burn Road kabob spots. The paratha was decent, but the fresh/hot naan with kabob and nihari just hit that spot. I think it's time this place relocated to a bigger place. The location is clutch; right around many other desi stores. They have never disappointed with their food. We have tried most of the menu, my favorites are the chicken biryani and chicken 65. The nihari, kabob rolls, and even the dessert are all really great. The naan is the best! I think Sabri changed owners. The pipe was broken and you could tell their water and stuff is tainted and they even brought you water to your table (they need a sign there) but I still took the ice they said it was okay but not to drink the water. I ended up getting food poisoning. Food has changed tastes as well :( so long to the Sabri I once knew growing up it's a sad day They auto charge everyone 10% of the bill if you dine in BUT I am thinking this is okay because I watched negligent parents let their small kid pour sugar on other tables for no reason and they didn't bother to clean it up. This place is confusing! The inside was clean and well kept. The outside is sketchy! It's in a gas station with armed guards outside which made me very uncomfortable. The food was ok. The nihari was excellent with naan. The biryani, seekh, and chole was standard. The spice level was different with each dish. The service was ok. The part I did not appreciate was they let in someone asking for money inside the restaurant walking to tables with a sign while people are eating. I would have rather he stood outside the restaurant. With other similar or better options I would not risk going to that area again! read more

I've been coming here for 8 years and I think it's time to close the door for this place. Change of ownership and new chef is a typical issue with desi restaurants. Old owners cash out and new owner try to maximize. Place was empty on Sunday afternoon. Watered down and bland Nihari, old and twice fried chicken 65, and heated up chicken karhai from previous day. You can tell by looking at the color of meat. What's the point of eating here if it's not fresh???? All regulars at this place, find another place if you ever liked eating here. I finally got to try Sabri. It's been long due. I've had it bookmarked for many years. I know a lot of Desi people like it and it used to have better reviews on Yelp. Plus it's not far from me. What stopped me from going is the location. It's in a really crowded area next to a gas station. Sure, there are more restaurants popping up next to gas stations. However, that's not the problem for me at Sabri. The problem is there is limited space to park since it shares it with not only the gas station but also an insurance company and a car wash place. It was hard to even park since so many cars were everywhere. You have a lot of people just chilling outside and love to people watch. Anyhow, regardless of that, I got smart and called ahead and pre-ordered my food. For me, I get the typical samosas and chicken 65. They didn't have any meat samosas but that's okay. I usually get veggie samosas anyways. I was told the order will be ready in 20 mins but I got there in 15 and it was ready. Walking in, it looks small and casual, kinda like Gokul Sweet. In the corner, I saw a buffet style area but no food was in there. I saw a sign that there are Sunday buffets. I didn't stay too long to pay attention either. Oh yeah, Sabri is open till 3 AM! What? Look wise, food is on point. Chicken 65 is cooked perfectly. It is good but not the best. I liked how the onions, lemon (prefer lime though), and jalepenos were separated fro Wasn't really feeling the chutney though. Samosas are really good. The texture is perfect, crispy and yumminess inside. However, it is soooo greasy!!! 30 minutes after eating, I ate half of my food. My daughter ate the other half. My stomach started to hurt. Welcome to my review. I came to this place late night maybe 1 hour and 30 mins before closing. Seemed like a late night indo-pak vibe when I walked in. The restaurant is connected to a gas station, but the entrance is separate. I had to park at the gas station next-door as there was no parking in front of the restaurant. We got few different items, but did not like any. I would say the food is straight straight. The food is cold, which was extremely sad. I will never be eating here again. This is my favorite Indian restaurant to eat all the spicy meats. Had the Sunday buffet today and it was without complain. I would not suggest this place for the vegetarian. They specialize in meats and kebabs. Buffet had both veg and non veg but I stick to the non veg. My favorites are Nihari and Hakeem. Don't forget to order the masala tea in the end to get all the oil down your system. A word of advice: people on a weight loss diet. Don't bother. This place is not for you. Got the falooda kufi to go, and the holey(vermicelli) tastes old and weird. Falooda kulfi is supposed to be cold, what we got is room temp, not at all what I was looking forward to. We bought 1 falooda, and 2 kulfi to go, now I am regretting spending so much money. I called to let them know, but no one is answering calls. After a late and long workout at the gym, my wife and I and were too tired to cook.. so I had remembered that my friend had suggested this place and told that it was open really late and the food was good.. So we googled it up and at 10:30 at night we drove down there.. The food was great and we got our to-go order really quick.. May be max about 10 to 15 minutes.. The mutton and chicken biriyani's were just delicious.. We tried the Chicken Tikka breast which was ok.. Prices were comparable to other places also.. it is located in a complex which is part of a gas station so there is about only 10 to 20 parking spaces.. If you want some good and fast Pakistani food this is the place to go! My boyfriend heard so much about this place from his friends and was excited that it is really close to my house! I would say we tried almost everything on the menu from chicken korma, biryani to the fried fish. I'm not a big fan of the entrees that have goat in it, the taste of it has an acquire taste, not fan of goat cheese either. One of my favorite dishes here is the Murgh Cholay! It has chickpeas, mix veggies and goes really well with naan(duh) with the extra onions and mint sauce! Sometimes my boyfriend and I would slap some greek yogurt on the side to bring out the other flavor in the dishes. If you want something on the sweet side, try out the pistachio ice cream, falooda or the carrot dessert(gajar halwa). The service here is friendly and fast! The wait time for food is always 10 minutes and seem to be okay if you stay pass the normal business hours. The decor inside is meh, very plain and the style is similar to a middle school cafeteria. Because of the interior design and location(next to a gas station), you may be turn off by it but trust me! It is good. I tried many other Pakistani/indian food and this is by far my favorite place. I cant imagine what the kitchen is like. I wish GA had NY's restaurant grading system. The tables didnt look very clean and it was the same with the plates we got and the dishes we were served in. Every so often you hit the restaurant jackpot and a place you never knew existed comes to your attention, revealing itself to be one of your favorite restaurants of all time. Sabri Kabab House is one such place. Sabri was brought to our attention by the recommendation of a friend who knows the cuisine well and understood that my taste for ethnic cuisine is well-developed. Simple, generic, typical, predictable flavors are not going to shake my culinary world. Fortunately, this place far exceeded any expectations I had going into it for the first time (and my expectations were high due to the recommendation!) The restaurant is average size, very clean, and unassuming. It might be the kind of place you may even pass by because you simply did not know what it is. Don't let this happen to you! This is truly some of the best Pakistani food I have never had the pleasure to try anywhere, at any time in my life. Being our first time at Sabri, we tried a large assortment of items from the menu. We ordered the Chicken Biryani, Daal, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Seekh Kabab. On the side we sampled both the Naan and the Paratha. My five year old son ordered the Butter Chicken and a Mango Lassi. To be sure, everything was wonderful. Everything! The spice level was truly authentic. Not the kind of spice that would burn your mouth off, but rather a full-flavored experience. I have just truly never known how good something like Butter Chicken could be until I tried Sabri's. It was just that good. The service was very prompt, friendly, and helpful. We particularly liked the pitcher of water that was brought to the table so that we didn't have to keep getting up for a refill (it has semi-table service, ordering at the counter and then sitting down to wait for your food to arrive). Little thoughtful things like this made the experience top of the line. It even has a buffet that we want to try some day soon. Understand that this is not a fancy expensive restaurant, but it is genuine, something that you'd be more likely to see in a city like London than in Atlanta. We had an absolutely wonderful time and will be making this part of our regular rotation, replacing other (ALL) Indian cuisine locations closer to home. read more

I used to love eating at this restaurant. The customer service is absolutely terrible now. I placed a massive order to be picked up from the restaurant, and headed out to pick it up (we live almost an hour away). When I reached the restaurant, they had cancelled the order because one item was not available! Two hours on the road, back and forth because they couldn't call to inform me about the ONE missing dish. There a better options with better customer service in the area. read more
