By far the best Pakistani food I've ever had. Everything is freshly made and bursting with flavor. You can actually see the daily specials arriving in daigs, and they sell out quickly--which says it all. Kabab King is about 45 minutes from where I live but I swear to you it's worth the distance because it's the best Pakistani food I've had in Atlanta. They have daily specials so the food comes out really quick, my favorite is the Beef deghi biriyani. The biriyani is layered with tender, spicy beef, and the gravy with cilantro and onions in each layer compliments the rice and meat so well. It is amazing! The next curry we tried was the beef achari which was a solid 10/10 as well. Most of these items were the weekend specials. All the dishes were absolutely amazing and yummy. The flavor, aroma, quantity, tenderness of meat, balance of spices are just right on spot. Really very nice staff and a very kind, happy owner and very friendly. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. The restaurant is always running on full capacity so the food is always fresh, Naan bread melts in your mouth. The only compliant I have here is they need to be more quick in serving, they were taking too long to serve the food. They have enough staff but need to be little more organized. And a very important upgrade they need to make is the cooks need to wear hair net while cooking and serving. If they can do these few things, and maintain their quality and quantity, they'll be the very best in town. The owner Qamer Khan always makes himself accessible to customers and lives to serve customers himself. This place is just next to Global Mall in a shopping plaza, so the parking is free and ample. The nihari and daal here is amazing with their naan. But I would definitely pass on their kababs- very dry and bland. We also asked for a combination plate of kababs and got a stingy two pieces of beef and a huge remaining plate of chicken. read more

I was once told that if you see a lot of people from that restaurants nationality, than you know it's authentic. The place looked a bit messy with large trash backs in random places in the restaurant but, it was packed when we came in so we took it as a good sign for good food. You have to order before being able to sit down and you will have a number handed to you so they know where to find you. Guy taking the orders didn't seem in the mood for our questions on what the dishes had and seemed a bit annoyed so we felt skeptical again but sat down. The food arrived in disposable plates and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. We had the kabab roll and biryani and loved it. There's no refill on drinks, you just go and get another canned soda at the register or ask for a pitcher of water. I grew up in Pakistan and I can safely say, this restaurant would not be out of place in a normal street in karachi or Islamabad. It's legit, authentic, Pakistani food . I have been going to Kabab king since we moved to Atlanta last year. I love the deghi beef pulao, haleem and chicken malai boti. Beef biryani is good but spicy for my taste. I have asked them to add some white rice to make it less spicy. I usually order plain nans and noticed that nans were not done fully at the edges. Rabri and loki halwa are my favorite deserts at this place. Friendly staff and back home Karachi vibes make us go to this restaurant weekly . read more

First time in the area and chose this restaurant because of the ease of menu. The menu online showed pictures which were very helpful. We're a family of 4 and ordering haleem was more than enough. It was spicy but not so much with added cilantro and lemon. Naan did not come with the meal. Chicken 69 was suggested for kids. It did have some spice. Veggie samosa was crispy and tasty. We highly enjoyed the haleem and I would suggest ordering more than 2 naan. Portions were large enough for a family of 4. The mango lassi was thick and delicious. Unfortunately, hospitality was poor. We weren't greeted at the counter. No hello or anything. The bathroom was poorly kept. The cleaner tried his best to keep all tables clean but it wasn't enough and seating wasn't always in place. I don't know how long ago they moved to the bigger location but it's phenomenal. I come from Florida and am a picky Pakistani eater. The charcoal bbq is unrivaled and the big pots of biryani are delicious. I also had the beef seekh kabab and it was also really good. The food was intensely spicy tho but I have a lower spice tolerance then most of my fellow desis. I Recommend asking to tone it down a bit! read more

Awful service, and rude behavior from everyone in the store. We called 40 minutes before for 2 biryanis that they have on the go. We went to the cashier and overpaid in cash, they dismissed us when it was time to pay back and took the person behind us order WITHOUT PAYING US BACK OUR CHANGE. Then waited 10 MINUTES for our change. We then went to the pick up side to find out our order was not even ready. The guy behind us that the cashier took while not even paying us back the our change got his order before us. He then tipped the guy, ALL THAT RUDE BEHAVIOR FOR A TIP. One of the guys then JUST went to get our order, THAT THEY ALREADY HAVE MADE IN A BIG POT. We are regulars there. No apologies, no manners, a business can't run on rudeness and ill mannered people. Went to Southern Thrift Market to pick up some items for a costume and found ourselves here for lunch yesterday. Very bare bone decor. Almost like a cafeteria. There was a large group of older Indian men eating here so I'm assuming it has the elders stamp of approval. Service was friendly and quick. They give you what you need with a smile and then you're on your own. The garlic naan was AMAZING. And such a good deal for only $1! One serving was literally the size of a small pizza. We also ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka marsala. Meat was just a tad dry for both but the sauces both hit the spot. And so affordable! Only $5.99 per dish! Samosas were OK. Dry but had good flavor. Probably wouldn't order again. You get a large portion of plain basmati rice for $2.99. Shareable between 2 people. UPDATE: Tried it for second time. Ordered 3 items for takeout. Picked up my takeout bag to find that one item (beef biryani) was missing. Called to inform them to get a refund and was informed that refund is not available and that I can come pick it up later on. The inconvenience of coming back AND every time they are out of 15% of the stuff in their menu. So I was limited to picking from a much shorter menu. Terrible service and the food quality is bad as well. Also, neither staffs nor guests are wearing masks. No temperature measure. Went to this place on a Saturday night and boy the place was full of people who were there to enjoy the authentic Pakistani food. We ordered the Saturday special beef seekh kabab, achari chicken, beef haleem, degi beef biryani, naan and rabri for dessert. The beef kababs were dry and did not taste good. Also, the rabri had an after taste of milk powder and I was disappointed with both these dishes. The achari chicken and biryani were tasty. The Beef Haleem was 10/10 and it reminded us of the food back home. Overall the food was good and I would recommend the place. read more

This place has become our go-to place for Eid! We have picked up the daig beef biryani for the past two Eids, and it has been delicious both times. Nice and spicy and the raita is really good too! Food is good. But it's not hala and they kind of hide that from you. But the biggest set back I have with them is that they don't wear a mask as they work. They are messy men behind the counter and serving food but that just how desi food is but at least wear a mask please. For reference I'm from Pakistan, I'm not some white women calling out cultures for their business manners. I have gone to many Pakistani/Indian restaurants but I'm always scared I'm going to get covid cause of how the business is ran, also don't go there on weekends. What a gem! Upon entering we placed our orders at the counter. Not everything we wanted was available as they have certain menu items on certain days as specials, which is okay. We ended up getting Beef Biryani and Seekh Kebab w/ Naan. Our server Ahmad was fantastic. They had masks and gloves on. He constantly checked on us to ensure we were comfortable and had all that we needed, including chutney, onions, drinks, etc. The food was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. Very bad customer service, If you cannot treat your customers right, you might as well close. The lady at the counter does not care about taking orders and is very rude. The owner is even worse, starting yelling at the customer when they themselves gave our food to someone else. Rather than accepting their mistake, they started yelling at us.
