It's a very novel experience. The readymade foods aren't the best, but something I appreciated was that the workers here are pretty accommodating for my friend who has food allergies. They custom made a gimbap roll for her, which was so kind of them. I love that they offer instant noodle varieties and snacks that even the full sized Asian markets in the valley don't carry. If you're looking for something very specific, Busan Mart may carry it! As they're a convenience store type of concept, I would not say they're good for regular groceries or food. It's fun for a young adult or college student type of vibe, but it's also a little bit pricey for what you're getting. If you can temper expectations and keep what they're going for in mind, Busan Mart is definitely worth the visit at least once.

During a recent visit, I interacted with Vincent, whose approach felt impersonal and dismissive. I was not acknowledged until I initiated contact at the window, and even after a pharmacy technician attempted to assist me, my concerns did not seem to be meaningfully addressed. Rather than demonstrating a willingness to help, Vincent conveyed a transactional attitude and suggested that pharmacists may simply choose how they wish to engage with patients; an approach that, in this case, felt lacking in both attentiveness and care. As a result of this experience, I will now be taking additional steps to ensure a more positive interaction in the future, including confirming staff availability before visiting. For you're on the go looking for little items that you don't necessarily want to visit a bigger store for, this is a good place to stop.
