Nice ceiling light installation. Manfredo did a great job on installing the ceiling light for our living room.

Great Electrician company to have in your contractors network. They installed a light and switch, and ran the power line, to give us this beautiful light fixture in our living room. I really appreciate how respectful they were with the house, and how clean they work. While performing the work, they also identify a faulty 2-way switch on our hallway light, which they fixed on the spot. Both the light fixture and the hot fix were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for all your electrical needs! We'll be going to them for our future projects.

We have worked with Manfredo for many years, he did a Lutron Radio Ra3 system for us very happy with the outcome - he is very knowledgeable, meticulous and reliable - great qualities for an electrician :-)

Manfredo was the best! He quickly changed the ballast and provided wire nuts to do so.

Rigo did a great job with the 3 things I had done: replacing an electrical panel, replacing 2 light fixtures, and installing a smoke alarm. He was on time, knowledgable, and efficient. I don't think it is necessarily the cheapest option around but with something like this, quality and experience matters and they did a great job and handle permits and such. They did exactly what I asked them to do and were responsive over email and able to ask the exact questions they needed which made things seamless. This is not necessarily a bad thing but they could have probably done some kind of "walk through" around the place and found some additional work for me. Upselling is obviously not always a great practice but in my case, there were some things that I wish I had done and I think they could have suggested them and left it up to me to say yes/no to during the initial inspection. For example my kitchen could definitely use at least 1 additional outlet, I should have probably replaced a 3rd light, and so on. I do respect that they don't try to take you on a ride but since it is probably efficient to do things all at once, may have been helpful to discuss (this was also my bad for not noticing these things before). Rigo did a bunch of smaller things that made a big difference too like taking out the packaging for the lights and the old ones as well as the old electrical panel, clearly labeling all the switches very neatly which was not well done before, answering my questions and explaining things in a way that I (someone with little knowledge about most of this stuff) would understand.

Tech showed up and pointed at stuff and tried to scare us into a $20,000 whole house rewiring job…read more Then offered to rewire a working outlet for $700 (going rate is like $250) but said that he couldn't do it for more than a week. Told us we wouldn't be charged for his time but we got a $400 bill for "diagnostics and troubleshooting." On top of this, communication was a mess. Manager called me at 6pm on a Friday and couldn't get two words together, not sure if he was high or just exhausted but it was a super unprofessional call and left me with more questions than answers. Finally got some clarity in an email, but jeez what a mess. Maybe their work quality is good, but I won't be sticking around to find out. I'll be working with someone who is more up front about their work, better at communicating, and doesn't charge so much.

It's a 1950s house, and…read morethe wiring in the garage was pretty messy--the gas furnace was tied into the ceiling lights, and the washing machine was connected to the upstairs outlets. We also asked Saul to properly rewire the furnace and to add a C wire so we could install a Nest thermostat. He explained everything clearly, including the possibility of needing to open up some drywall, but said he would try to keep any damage to a minimum. They did a fantastic job. Everything feels much safer now, and the work was done really cleanly. We're very happy with the results and will definitely call him again for future electrical work.

They opened the outlet and found that the wiring was knob-and-tube, which meant replacing the four outlets with GFCIs was not an effective solution, so no work was performed. My main issue was with the billing and communication. Before scheduling, I was told that an estimate and diagnosis would be free. However, after determining that the work could not be completed as originally discussed, I was still charged $150 for the visit. I understand compensating someone for their time and travel. That said, I wish the diagnostic fee had been clearly communicated upfront, especially since the original message specifically mentioned a free diagnosis. The lack of clarity around pricing was frustrating.

Mikhail responded to the project pretty quickly via Yelp and offered to see the situation before giving us a quote on the following day. On the next day, he came over and looked at where we needed to replace the light and gave us a very reasonable quote on the spot. And I agreed to proceed with it and he removed the existing ceiling light with the new pendant light. The whole process, from discussing the quote to he setup to he completed the job (including adjusting the pendant multiple times for me to figure out the most ideal drop of the lamp in our living room) and to pack his stuff, only took 40 minutes! I appreciated his quick turnaround on this! There are always some small projects I want to try doing it myself; but now I know who to reach out if I have a complex one or when I do not know what to do even after watching multiple Youtube videos :)

Unfortunately I discovered I couldn't remove it, so I put out a request for an electrician on Yelp. I received four responses, but Mikhail was the only one who was willing to talk to me over the phone. We set up an appointment the following morning, and he was punctual. Mikhail assessed I have a ballast which required dismantling the fixture and inserting a ballast bypass tube. He did the entire job in about 25 minutes because he bought the necessary 48-inch tube beforehand. He even helped clean my dusty ceiling ventilator. Total cost was $200. I'd definitely recommend him for handy jobs beyond the grasp of an electrical luddite. Yes, I'm talking about me. RELATED - Interested in other services I found on Yelp Project?
