I felt like I scored the most quality painting service finding Marcio and his team--Louis and Mario. I have a small business and I needed to get the whole place repainted after inheriting the space from another tenant. The whole space! Walls, ceilings, trim and the floors. It had been almost 10 years since we had painted our house and it was time. I reached out to three painters for quotes and talked with their referrals and Marcio came out on top. First impressions were very good and his referrals were excellent. During the initial power washing, dry rot was discovered and the team was more than capable to take care of the problem with the right wood and the right attention to detail. Marcio and his team were also very friendly, reacting with a "can do" attitude to all my requests (being an engineer I had a lot). The extra cost for dry rot repair was fair and reasonable. Finally the team did a nice cleanup at the end. Hire Marcio, he is our painter for years to come. If I could give 6* I would. Brandon was the one that initially came by to do the estimate and provided a quote by the next day. Because of time constraint, we needed to have painting done ASAP. We were looking to hire painters to repaint our mother-in-law unit within a fairly short timeframe, and reached out to five different companies to get bids. Marcio was not only the fastest at responding with a quote (same day as his visit), but also was the most reasonably priced. He was very responsive via email and communicating in the Yelp app. We were really pleased that his crew was available within a couple of weeks of our initial consult. He had a team of workers show up the first day to help prep and move furniture and start painting; then two guys did the majority of the painting. They were super efficient and finished painting our 600 sq ft apartment in two days! We asked Marcio and Brandon to add on some work since we had originally only asked for the baseboards and walls to be painted, but the door frames and trim didn't match the color exactly. I can't recommend Marcio and his crew enough! We needed the rear of our building painted (it looked haggard and the insurance inspector was not having it). Marcio came within a few days for a quote, was extremely reasonable, and also repaired and painted some ceiling dry wall that had been damaged from the recent rain (another story). Our job took three stories of scaffolding, working with neighbors, putting up netting, power washing, sanding, repairing cracks, busted parts of the siding, priming and painting. The crew was there every day at 8:30am, weather permitting, and everybody who worked on our building was awesome, positive, kind, and trustworthy (we had them walking through a common area with everyone's stuff every day). I wouldn't expect anything less from meeting with Marcio, but worth mentioning just how AMAZING his crew is. Schedules were a little flexed due to rain, fog, etc. but they did their best. Marcio helped me fix some peeling ceiling paint a while back. They had the lowest quote, but it turned out it was because they did not estimate the scope correctly. What was needed was to scrape all the loose paint, which tends to be more than the visible parts already peeling. Every other company that looked at it said the same thing so I assumed they know. Turned out Marcio only patched the visible parts and the other places started peeling soon afterwards from weight of new paint. read more
