We renovated our house and came into contact with many contractors, but our experience with Edgar was head and shoulders above any other person we worked with. He's the only one we feel compelled to leave a review for, the experience was so extraordinary. His communication sets him apart, he was always easy to get ahold of via phone or text, he provided regular updates, was transparent and had an excellent, positive "can do" attitude. He is a total pleasure to work with, he listens and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy every step of the way. We researched about six different local painters before going with him for his positivity, good references -- and also his quote was among the most competitive. The team he manages seem really happy and were incredibly professional. Their work was exacting, lines were straight, they did not leave until the job was done perfectly. We're on day 2..first day was power washing with 2 people, second day was yesterday and there were 3 people total scraping and sanding the entire exterior. I was worried at first with lack of reviews, but gotta say how impressed I am so far. It's going to rain in SF for a few days so we had to stop..he'll continue afterwards. But after 2 days you can see the work ethic..on time, no BS, just straight work...can't wait to see finished project next week. Even asked to do a few small things like remove a camera, install address numbers and he's so willing. Also, they cleaned up the news like no one even showed up..my front area is so clean. Edgar and his people did a great job on my window frames and sills in Daly City. I got new windows but the installers said they do not do any painting. My previous windows were deeper than my new ones which left more of the frame exposed all around the windows. There were holes and chipped paint which marred the appearance of the new windows. Edgar came in with the lowest bid and had great reviews. We got about 6 other bids. Edgar and his guys were clean and professional. It took them only 1.25 days. I thought there would be a lot of sanding and dust but Edgar did sanding by hand and patched up the holes and exposed wood before putting two coats of paint. He also covered all the furniture in case there was a lot of dust. He also painted the new frames around the outside of the windows. He even came back when we found some small missed spots around our kitchen window. Edgar was very communicative and easy to work with.
